Hey everyone... there's a guy selling wrestling DVDs for 5 dollars a pop. I am thinking about getting quite a few and was wondering if any of these are worth it? Any quick reviews would be appreciated.

      - Satan's Prison: The Anthology of the Elimination Chamber (3 Discs)

All of them are good buys, aside from the Top 50, Hulk Hogan (unless you are a big Hogan fan) and the ECW Violent Matches.

Rise and Fall of ECW's documentary is really good, as is the HBK and Bret Hart. Oh, and Jericho's documentary part is also strong. History of the WWE Championship has a lot of good matches on it, and the Survivor Series (get me an extra copy if he has multiple; I love anthology sets) is pretty self-explanatory. Elimination Chamber is good, although the matches do get repetitive, but there's some really good ones on there.

          - Breaking the Code: Behind the Walls of Chris Jericho (3 Discs)
A great DVD, lots of matches. A must buy especially if a Jericho fan.
          - Bloodsport: ECW's Most Violent Matches (2 Discs)
Match selections are good especially if your a fan of the original ECW.

          - Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses: Hardcore Edition (3 Discs)
Good match selections. DVD is meh.
          - The Rise and Fall of ECW (2 Discs)
IMO one of the best WWE produced documentary.

          - WWE Survivor Series: The Anthology (5 Discs)
Is the guy selling each DVD for $5 or all DVDs together for $5? If its the latter buy it because thats a steal especially since the retail price is $200-300.
          - Heartbreak & Triumph: The Shawn Michaels Story (3 Discs)
Very good documentary, match selection is meh.

          - Bret Hart: The Best There Is... (3 Discs)
Great documentary and great match selection.

          - Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology (4 Discs)
good match selections, must buy only if you're a big Hogan fan.

Thanks for the quick impressions guys. That was exactly what I was looking for. I'll probably leave Hogan since I wasn't a fan, but then again, I wasn't a fan of Bret either and I'm probably picking that up. Anyway, here's others he's selling...

            One's I already own that he's selling:

            Spoiler

One's I don't own. Please let me know if there are any in here that you think would be a good deal at 5 dollars. Mind you, I grew up in the Attitude Era, for those that don't know me.

            Spoiler

He also has a bunch of one-off PPVs. These interest me less.

                If you're an ECW fan...

I'd throw in ECW Extreme Rules. Not much story, but it has quite a few classics from the original ECW plus some damn good matches from the vastly underrated WWECW era.

To add onto the ECW theme, One Night Stand 05 would be a must own if you're a fan. I rank it with One Night Stand 06 and Money in the Bank 11 as my favorite PPVs of all-time not including Wrestlemania/Royal Rumble/Summerslam.

You came across an awesome deal there. I'd be stocking up too if I found that deal

                      The ones I already owned:
                      Spoiler

At this point I'm buying stuff just to buy it and build up a library, I'll probably rarely, if ever watch a lot of these. I often buy crap I don't need just cause it's a steal, lol. That said, I told the guy if he hadn't sold some of his other ones in 3-4 weeks (I'm going back home for Night of Champions), I might be interested in some at 3-4 bucks. He said, cool.

If available I'll offer 30 for:

                      - The New and Improved DX (3 Discs)
                      - Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology (4 Discs)
                      - Viva La Raza: The Legacy of Eddie Guerrero (3 Discs)
                      - Greatest Stars of the 90's (3 Discs)
                      - Rey Mysterio: The Biggest Little Man (3 Discs)
                      - WWE Tombstone - History of the Undertaker (3 Discs)
                      - ECW Extreme Rules (2 Discs)
                      - ECW One Night Stand 2005 (1 Disc)
                      - Top 50 Superstars of All Time (3 Discs)

Hopefully they're available and he takes it, lol.

Yeah, and JR doing the interview means the doc. part will be strong. I'm pumped that 2 singles matches I saw live are on the DVD as well.

That's pretty cool. I do find myself enjoying the matches a little more if I was there in person. I was at WM 23 and MITB 2011 and still find myself watching those DVDs every now and again.
