Re: Raw 08/01/2011 - At the Colta-ColtaCabana
Bourne has a couple wins over Swagger, including one on PPV, in the last couple months. So it's not like he's on a huge losing streak or anything.Comment

Re: Raw 08/01/2011 - At the Colta-ColtaCabana
I really do think the Miz/Truth stuff was excellent. A-Ri/Dolph could be interesting, and A-Ri saying ditch the chick is an interesting comparison to him and Miz.
Still not loving Kofi/Del Rio, but if they put on a good blow-off match I'll be content.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Comment

Cara is a serial botcher and hasn't adapted to the WWE style at all. Morrison just does stuff for no good reason just flashy flips. Same w Kofi though he is better than JoMo. Id say Bourne and obviously Rey are better than all three of them.Comment

Re: Raw 08/01/2011 - At the Colta-ColtaCabana
Rey is still plenty good. He just put on TWO dang good matches in one night last week while busting out a couple of new moves too, with TV time no less! You can say his character isn't appealing or that maybe he wins too much but it's hard to say he doesn't put on good matches.Comment

Re: Raw 08/01/2011 - At the Colta-ColtaCabana
I enjoyed the Miz/Rey match from last week for sure, but thought the Cena/Rey match was quite stale due to those two having virtually no in-ring chemistry with one another. I mean, when was the last time thise two guys faced off in a one on one contest? My point exactly.
And Evan Bourne is a fantastic in-ring performer regardless of what anybody says. He just has the personality of a dead moth and that is the only thing holding him back.Comment

Re: Raw 08/01/2011 - At the Colta-ColtaCabana
Mysterio/Cena was the best RAW match of the year. The spots with the powerbomb and flying legdrop ended up looking brutal when they could have been total disasters. The match built up nicely, Cena sold Mysterio working over his leg, and the finishing sequence was great. How a fresh great match like that can be considered "quite stale" makes no sense.Comment

Agree about Bourne, though his size doesn't help matters either.Comment

Make no mistake about the intent of my comment...I like Evan Bourne. I have a soft spot for high flyers. They just aren't utilized in WWE like they should be.
Bring back the light heavyweight title!Comment

The Cruiserweight Championship would give a lot of people something to do again. But why give people air time when you can give it to people who are already over or stick an extra commercial break or two into a match?NFL: Green Bay Packers
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NBA: Denver Nuggets
NHL: Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins
NCAA: Air Force Falcons, Penn State Nittany LionsComment
