I don't like them so far, but I'm sure after I get about a solid 5-10 hours of gameplay in, I'll get used to them.

Felt the same way, but they grew on me. I like being able to use the R stick to position your opponent and I'm getting used to the grappling. I think you can actually pull off a better flowing match with this setup.

I'm still on the fence with them. I haven't played a wrestling title in a while and it shows. I'm getting my a$$ whipped left and right. The reversals by the CPU are crazy nice. I love games with steep learning curves, gives me a challenge to look forward too.

Still getting used to it because I haven't been able to make the moves happen that I always want to, but I like it more than the old system as well. I didn't like the controls on the right stick either.

I don't like the kick out control. I have to land that fast moving cursor on a LITTLE line? Some of us don't have that eye-hand coordination like all the younger guys do nowadays! They should have at least given us the option for older control settings.

In svr 2011 at least, I would assume it's the same but under options you can change the pin style back to button mashing.

I hated them at first but I like them now. Especially since you have to work for something. Example say you use Del Rio, in order to make them tap quicker to the cross armbreaker you need to work and target the arm all match long.

Wake Up Taunts, and I'm assuming these fall under "new" controls, are one of the best things they've done recently, imo.

Not having to go through the rigmarole of picking the guy up off the ground and then hitting your finisher, and instead having the guy do what he actually does in real life while the guy gets up on his own, adds so much to the realism of the game.

I couldnt find the old pin option either. I hate the new one not just for me but I let my little guy play with his nephews and none of them can kick out of a pin.
