Anyone experiment with leaving DEFAULT power/grapple attributes and just maxing out durability?

I did that, and have been having some good, semi-lengthy matches.

I can't blame you RDZ. I see a lot of people that really enjoy reversals and a challenge, like you and I. I also see a lot of people that can put reversals at 0 and still call it a "reversal fest". I prefer going into each and every match, and having no idea whether I'll win or lose. That one thing is what has killed every next gen WWE game for me. If you can't lose, what's the point? I also know many will disagree, but even if I go into a match as Undertaker and take on Santino, I still want it to be a fight. I look at wrestling the same way as I look at MMA or UFC, upsets happen, expect the unexpected, everyone has a punchers chance, etc. I don't want to have any guarantees. I'll take my attribute advantages and all that, but at the end of the day it should at least be challenging. What are you using for sliders right now RDZ?

I play on Legend difficulty with slow momentum(match creator)

Im still trying to fihure out how i want to edit attributes for everyone

either -50 Power attributes and MAX durability etc.

-50 at Power Attributes (Strike/Grapple)

For Durability, I decided not to just max it out because then guys like Dibiase would have a 95 while Cena would have a 90. Which we are know Cena should have better durability then Dibiase and all the other guys like him.

Durability for the following

Main Eventers = 90+

Mid Carders = 75-85 (depending on who they are, for example, Evan Bourne is a mid carder but he usually dosent last long in WWE (match length wise) so I'd have him a 75 while guys like DZ, Rhodes, Barrett, Bryan would be 85)

Jobbers = 55-65(maybe 70) Lets face it, when we have a guy like Randy Orton going up against Santino, we want to win quicker then say facing Barrett. I hope to see a big difference in OVRs because of this. Maybe make some people like Santino's DUR. even lower then a 55.

This is just a base for now, I will be testing and finding out what I want.

Looking at it, before any edits, the default OVRs for Randy and Santino are 94 and 77

94 - 77 (17 point difference)

with my changes to the attributes, shows the following

81 - 62 (19 point difference)

so by a little it can make Randy better then himwhile being able to have a longer match with the other top stars

To give a perspective of OVRs with these changes

Eddie - 80
Edge - 80
RKO - 81
Santino - 62
Dolph - 75
DBryan - 74
Dibiase - 67
Kidd - 65
Taker - 82

So the top guys would be in the low 80s, but seeing Taker is only a 82 compared to a 80 of Edge, Eddie. I might make some other stats on Taker and others better just to get some seperation from all the main eventers

If anybody has suggestions on what to do with durability, maybe make jobbers higher or lower. Let me here it, this is just my plan and my base. I could always use the help to get perfect edits

Yea it extends the matches from 3-6 mins to 7-10 which is find with me. Most guys are looking for 10+ min matches tho.

Ok so what are the most recent sliders to date?? without the rosters being edited? will that affect my gameplay ie: lenth of matches, realisim ect,ect. any help is greatly apprecited!!!

Why is your HUD on. Wouldn't it up the difficulty a little bit with it off.

Not really, with it off it still tells you when you have a sig/finisher. I doubt it makes to much of a difference. Its just a bar that fills. I might just take it off tho so i dont have to look at it under my guys feet. Gets kinda annoying

Ok I played a match with the sliders and edits I posted above.

Eddie(me) vs Edge

Match Length = 19:30
Winner = Edge

Very close match, Very tough match, each kicked out of a finisher but the 2nd spear ended it. Both Eddie and Edge are a 80 OVR (with the edits im using)

i just Finished my favorite match in this game. Using my settings (shown above)

Dolph Ziggler(me) vs CM Punk

All thru out this match, All i heard was Cole, "The momentum turns once more" or "The momentum swings 180 degrees...again". This match was awesome, it had everything. Punk did a couple springboards on me, i got one diving elbow on him. I threw him in to the steel steps, he suplexed me onto the steel ramp way.

He gets the GTS off at the 11 min mark, 2 and half

I got the zig zag off on him at the 15 min mark, he kicks out at 2 and a half

after some dramatic 2 counts, he gets his second finisher and slaps on the andaconda vise, DZ taps

Match Length = 21:31
Winner = Punk

Great Match

I thought durability just effected the rumble and submissions?

Durability only effects how difficult it is to eliminate a wrestler from the royal rumble, and how difficult it is to submit them. The higher the #, the less likely he is able to be eliminated from the Rumble or submitted. So I like it at max for everyone to make the Rumble more unpredictable. Christian won in my Universe btw...CM Punk beat Edge in the Rumble Winner's Match, so I guess that means it will be Christian vs CM Punk at WM??? Even though they are in seperate brands?

did you never test out say -20 or -25 power moves? i see you still with -50 etc.. just curious that if you did what the results were.
