    Re: SLIDER SETTINGS THREAD

I haven't read through this thread, but have a quick slider question and was wondering if some experts can help me out.

Hard has become too easy, but I bumped to to legend once awhile ago and was unable to make Zeke Jackson submit in a submission match. I think I was Cody Rhodes, but he was completely red and I was unable to win the match because when I locked it in, the bar drained super fast and was only half full despite him being all red.

Anyways, I'm wondering if there is a way to get legend difficulty but still be able to make guys tap when they should?

i use the wrestling forum for other topics etc, just will ignore the slider sticky and look elsewhere for that stuff. bc no reason everyone's thoughts and opinions on different slider sets be in one topic all mixed up.

just posted my thoughts on the matter, didnt even need a response.

anyway.. happy wwe 12 gaming!! great game this year minus the community server issues..
If you want to play that way, if you weren't going to use the sticky, then we didn't need your original thought, now did we?

Some of you guys are impressive that you are playing legend with max settings and still winning most of the time. I was always able to beat legend handily on prior SVR games after a week but I still find hard at default settings a good challenge and if I use a lower rated guy like Steamboat against a high guy like Undertaker I usually get my assed kicked pretty good.

Are people spamming moves because wouldn't legend at max settings be a reverse fest and really take the flow away? I know from the limited time I've played there is at least one move you can spam against certain wrestlers that I avoid or is using the limb targeting system make it easier to win.

I'm more impressed with the people who play the game with these sliders and with the reversal indicator OFF.
Don't know how you guys do it.

Reason I am winning alot is because Im pretty good at the kick out meter and the fact that only a few guys have comeback ability so unless they build up their finisher again, they have a slim chance of beating me.

(I think they should have created some generic comeback moves.)

On legend with max ai reversals you cant spam moves. For me at least, I havent figured an exploit out yet.

If the kickout meter was better, I would have loss way more. Right now Im winning like 65-70% of my matches.

I have found my happy Meduim with hard and Timeflies sliders but with Finisher charge on fast. Jukes was a great set but although i was winning i was getting reversed a lot.

I am enjoying this game to much to start letting sliders bug me the way i get with NHL 12.

I know it's not realistic with certain wrestlers but if it gets too easy then you can always add the comeback ability to every wrestler to amp up the challenge.

That's what I like about this game for difficulty purposes. I like to use certain wrestlers only and see what the universe gives me. I know that even if I get too good eventually I can simply lower some key attributes and it's not noticable in gameplay unlike Fight Night where if you did that to make it harder you CAB would punch like he's in slow motion.

I jinxed myself, just list two str8 matches lol.

I also noticed the AI goes for more random pin attempts in falls count anywhere matches.

Btw, does anyone know how to remove the pad from the turn buckle? I tried LB (360) but that doesnt work.

                  Edit-

The momentum in universe mode makes a hugh difference. Orton been on a roll winning matches (including the World Title)

This week's match vs Orton (Im C.Rhodes) was harder than last week's match which I lost.

What's A on the PS3? And do you just go up to the turnbuckle and press the button?

I just move the L stick to the corner(wherever the turnbuckle is) and when I'm standing right next to it, I press X.

Though removing the turnbuckle is real useless this year since you can't drag your opponent to the turnbuckle and smash their head against it.

Hey guys, I was looking around and found some data to maybe help us get what we really want, which is realism. So the following is average match lengths for show and ppvs.

                          Average Match Length Per PPV

WWE PPVs - 16:30 per match (13:46 removing RoyalRumble)
TNA PPVs - 10:49 per match
ROH PPVs - 15:17 per match

                          Average Match Length

WWE Superstars - 7:12 per match
WWE Smackdown - 6:21 per match
WWE Raw - 5:39 per match
                          NXT - 5:29 per match
TNA Impact - 4:58 per match

After looking at this, those 15-20 min matches that we all love to have in WWE'12 don't usually happend to often in real life. Only time you really see long-long matches are main events at ppvs and Wrestlemania.

Today so far, I played 3 matches looking for results that match real life statistics

IN REAL LIFE (ON SUPERSTARS DEC.1)
                            Ted Dibiase vs Heath Slater
Dibiase won by Dream Street in about 4 mins

                            IN WWE'12
                            Ted Dibiase(me) vs Heath Slater
Dibiase wins by Dream Street in 4:50

                            Overall, VERY ACCURATE, SIMILAR, AWESOME.

                            IN REAL LIFE (5/27/11)
                            Daniel Bryan vs Cody Rhodes
DBryan wins by Lebell Lock in about 6 mins

                            IN WWE'12
                            Daniel Bryan(me) vs Cody Rhodes
Cody wins by CrossRhodes in 9:03

DZ & Swagger(me) vs Air Boom (I only played with DZ (Swagger - cpu))

DZSWAG wins in 15:09 by Gutwrench powerbomb
                            Swagger pin'ed Kofi Kingston

Now your probably wondering what edits or sliders I used for these matches.

I used DEFAULT EDITS, w/ my sliders

                            AI Reversal
                            Max'ed (20)

                            Damage
                            Max'ed (20)

                            General
                            Reversals (0)
                            Momentum Attacks (3)
                            Mom. Taunts (0)
                            Adrenaline (Default)(10)

THQ did a good job this year with the ratings to get the kind of match we see on TV every night on RAW, NXT, Superstars, TNA, Smackdown. After playing some of these matches I dont feel a need to change everyone to max durability or -25 at power attributes.

I think people are just looking for long matches because they're so used to games like nba,nhl where a single game takes 40+ minutes to play,so having a short 6-7 min match feels like nothing for them.

And you have to consider that in WWE, matches are much slower paced. Superstars takes breaks at time, take forever to hit some moves and things like that.

Just played another with DEFAULT edits, my sliders (see above for details)

Austin Aries(me) vs Bryan Danielson (ROH Arena)

                                Match Length - 9:32
Winner - Austin Aries by way of Brainbuster

good match, Bryan was busted open.

This was on DEFAULT ovr's (ratings/edits)

                                Since Aries is a CAW

                                OVRs
                                Daniel Bryan - 84
