    Re: SLIDER SETTINGS THREAD

I'm a CPU vs CPU guy myself. I'm looking for sliders for that mode.

Also wondering if the CPU is more aggressive on LEGEND or if it's just more reversals. Has anyone been able to verify this? If the CPU is more aggressive, then from what I'm looking for, LEGEND (with low AI reversals) would be ideal for CPU vs CPU play (booking matches, etc).

Do we have anywhere that defines what the difficulty variances are??

I'm mostly CPU vs CPU myself and they don't seem particularly aggressive to me.

May I ask what slider settings you are using? I've been experimenting with the AI reversal sliders. I think with it at 0, CPU still reverses, but not much..which means whoever gets the upper hand at the beginning of the match, controls the match.

General Finisher Reversal and Foreign Object Reversal set a quarter up from low.

Finisher Strength Damage and Foreign Object Strength set at max.

All the AI reversals are set in their middle default positions.

I'm actually pretty happy with how my matches play out, AI oddities not withstanding. Matches will go back and forth but it feels like each wrestler gets some time to put together a series of moves and dominate a bit before the other will come back.

I've edited the wrestlers individually a ton though. Mostly to even out the many CAWs I've downloaded and push unwanted guys down into jobber-dom.

Cpu is def more aggressive on Legend. Its not really "smart AI" they just doesnt hesitate as often. I used my sliders on all difficulties and noticed the difference.

As for reversals, I think the best things is to lower the wrestler's grapple/strike Def.

The AI is much more aggressive and reverse moves that makes sense when you lower the ratings of reversals instead of the slider.

For CPU vs CPU matches, I'm leaning towards using HARD difficulty.
On Normal, it seems both wrestlers are almost evenly matched. Cena still beat Otunga, but Otunga seemed to have more control.

On LEGEND, it works, but appears that no matter what the Defense settings are, the wrestlers reverse like crazy.

So on HARD diff, it feels like it plays more toward the Wrestlers attributes. Anyone else?

Not sure. I've liked the matches I've gotten on Legend. I've been recording matches (see the Universe thread for links). I don't think there are too many reversals but I guess that's a preference. Don't forget that you can tweak the global reversal sliders which might be better if the only thing you want to change is the reversals. Not sure what else the difficulty settings muck with.

All that said, I wouldn't doubt it if Hard gave a better overall experience. The highest difficulty in any game always seems to consist of rampant AI cheats that break rather than aid "realism".

Yea...the problem is, it is so hard to tell the difference. So far so good...

My biggest issue with Legend is the cpu just bounces of the mat, it feels at times like the move you just did had no effect. Its especially annoying when the cpu reverses nearly every signature move.

I am getting better all the time and i now probably win around 75% of my matches on legend but i the fact the cpu reverses my signature 80% of the time does annoy me.

What do you guys have for attribute edits and slider settings for human vs. CPU matches? I notice a lot of talk about CPU vs. CPU, and to be honest, I don't feel like reading through 17 pages to find a set of sliders.

                      Thanks fellas.

My edits for attributes are on the first page of the "You should do this before starting your universe thread"...

Slider wise...Max out Finisher and Foreign object damage.

Hard to tell you what to use for HUM vs CPU, because I've adjusted for CPU vs CPU. You might try the 2nd page of the wrestling section. There is TIMEFLIES edits, Jukes, etc...

What is the slider setting that most people here are using? Main thing I'm trying to figure out right now is how to make a match last long, but have it end after a finisher is hit. Because I can make it go about 10 mins, hit a finisher and the opponent kicks out. But if I do a single strong grapple move after the finisher, it's a 3 count.

-sigh- Seeing all of these edits, is atribute editing still something that needs to be payed for in WWE 12? Just picked up the game over the holidays.

Yup. Still have to pay for it.
