Yes, it's true!! Reading IS fundamental my friend. What did you read the first line then stop from there? I didn't say that's what happened, I didn't say I believe that's what happened, so NO, I don't think the Dungeon of Doom helped him. That being said it's not a conspiracy theory, that would require two or more people...get this...CONSPIRING together for this. Last I checked, you can't conspire with yourself. That is another possible outcome to the case however, whether you or I consider that highly unlikely or not. I responded to someone who said he'd never read anything about someone and questioned who "these enemies" of Benoit was. It's no hidden secret that Benoit and Sullivan hated each other and Kevin Sullivan provided most of the hate in that relationship because Nancy divorced him to be with Chris. I suppose exes don't kill those who dumped them all the time though right? Again, am not now, nor ever have I said Sullivan did it, but when someone brings up the possibility we don't need someone who doesn't even know about Sullivan's relationship with the Benoits going on some rant about needing the police to be involved in a coverup or implying Benoit doesn't have any enemies and all this other crap in his post.

Since the true facts aren't known, I still think he should be credited for what he did within the confines of his wrestling career. OJ has his stats still. They weren't erased from the books. I can see how the NFL distanced itself from him but they don't pretend he never existed. The WWE is pretending he never existed which in my opinion is wrong.

I'm a big wrestling fan, I still have the Chris Benoit DVD but I haven't seen a Benoit match since his suicide, I don't want to, it's WWE's job to take us away from reality and the Benoit situation hits too close to home for everyone involved. Co-workers and fans loved Benoit and constantly praised him in and out of the ring, he was an idol or hero to many but it all changed the day he ended his life, we feel like fools, we want to say how great he was but can't because of his cowardly act, he committed the ultimate sin, he'll never be given an opportunity for forgiveness, sadly this is how Benoit will be remembered but rightfully so, it's best WWE distance themselves.

I'm...speechless. Why do you keep asking me if I think these groups are involved? Again I think Benoit did it. Knowing what we know about the case, it's highly unlikely for any other outcome to be true. That said, I'm not going to jump down someone's throat for bringing up an alternate theory that when you think about it, does raise a few questions. Sullivan certainly had motive to do it, but I don't think he did. But go ahead, keep ignoring me and saying stupid stuff.

As for since when a conspiracy theory requires more than one person. I'll say again reading is fundamental. In order for there to be a conspiracy, there needs to be two or more people involved in a coverup or plan of some sort. Someone pointing out the possibility of Sullivan committing the crimes is not suggesting that the cops covered it up, thus meaning there was NO conspiracy and thus meaning it's not a conspiracy theory.

This is hilarious. A mark? I'm a mark why? Because I know Benoit and Sullivan hated each other because of Nancy leaving Sullivan for Benoit? Yes that was a storyline in WCW, however that IS what actually happen. Believe it or not....you're not going to believe this. All pro wrestlers aren't really friends off camera, but okay though, I'll be the mark I guess.

I was merely pointing out how ludicrous these poorly thought out conspiracy theories are when described as "a very real possibility". It's just as preposterous as the people clamoring for Benoit to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. But who knows, the movie being based on a book full of fabrications could easily change the ending with the "Satanic" ex-husband doing the dirty work.

And this thread isn't about "Benoit fans vs Benoit haters", it's about those that have accepted what happened vs those still in denial.

I honestly don't think the movie will get made. WWE can slap so many lawsuits on it and make it terribly difficult to get it made. They can probably find ways to claim Benoit, Vince, Eddie, HHH, etc are their characters and thus they hold copyright. They can also probably slap some defamation lawsuits on it. It's going to be too complicated.

At the very least, Vince could claim trademark on HHH, since that's a name that was created by WWE. I doubt he could claim trademark on Guerrero or Benoit, since they used their real names in the ring. The Guerrero and Benoit families would have to get involved to block their usage, if that's even possible. Vince could maybe put a trademark on his name if he hasn't already, but again, I'm not sure how far you can take that since it's his real name, and not a character name like HHH.
