Re: WWE Off-Topic
I don’t see anything false in that statement. You have to have the ability to evolve yourself and maintain some level of character. Becky and Charolette can both carry a feud without ever actually being in the ring if they need to. Sasha can’t.
Don’t get me wrong. She’s one of my favorites to watch in the ring and I hope she comes back. But it’s pretty stark when you look at how much the other horsewoman have evolved over the years and Sasha…changed her hair color?

I'm curious what your thought process is on carrying a feud without needing to be in the ring assessment though. How did you make that determination? Examples? And....it's wrestling, a feud needs the in ring part to work. That's kind of the point.Comment

Re: WWE Off-Topic
I disagree with this. Becky has evolved, but she's still a bit on the overrated side. Charlotte has never evolved from basically stealing her dad's gimmick. There is absolutely no reason that all of the Four Horsewomen shouldn't be making the same money. Also what would Sasha need to change exactly? She's never NOT been over since being called up to the main roster. Becky has though. Bayley has though.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: WWE Off-Topic
This is all kinda the point in standing up for yourself and taking issue with your booking as a wrestler. Guys are sitting here running this tired "she's difficult to work with" and "temper tantrum" narrative about Sasha now and have been doing it for a long time based on her taking issue with the way she was being booked, the women in general were being booked and WWE's whole chaotic creative process under Vince (which she is not the only one to have that gripe mind you) and here we are now when it's time to get paid and WWE (allegedly because we're still trusting dirt sheet writers here) and all these bros on the internet are using the excuse that she isn't on Charlotte and Becky's level to get paid the same as them based off the horrible booking Vince was giving her. A guy booking you like garbage despite your talent level and then using his **** booking as a way to suppress your negotiating power is a pretty **** move. It's like booking LA Knight as some garbage **** like Max Dupri and then lowballing him on a contract offer because nobody gives a **** about Max Dupri, except Sasha was still wayyyyyy over despite the crap she was given.
The fact that Sasha consistently would get some of the biggest crowd reactions of the night every week and moving merchandise when Vince was using her to pump up Charlotte's title reigns despite Sasha EASILY being the most over of the four horsewomen to hit the main roster and stayed that way probably until Becky's The Man gimmick (and she was still super over at that point) which it took Nia Jax being a **** up to finally get Becky over. The fact that Sasha never successfully defended a title until her lone Smackdown title reign in 2020 despite being on the main roster since 2015 and never had a title reign last a month despite being the most over female on the roster for the majority of that time says it all about how badly Vince screwed it up and is a testament to how good she is that she was still able to be as popular as she is despite all of that.Comment

Re: WWE Off-Topic
I'm cool with Sasha never coming back.
I'm also cool with Charlotte never coming back.
I'm cool with the new generation in NXT to come and takeover.

I dunno maybe I don’t express myself clearly but nothing you said is really a counter to what I was saying/agreeing with.
I’m not sure what Bayley and Becky starting out slow has to do with it? It emphasizes the point. They have evolved their characters over time. That’s what I was saying, they have the ability to do that. WWE was saying they think Sasha has peaked and that’s why they don’t want to pay her. If you have someone whose entire value is wrapped up inside the ring and they’re getting older. Their value goes down because they don’t have the character part to keep hold them up. WWE is paying for what’s to come not what’s happened already. My point was that makes sense IF they think Sasha can’t keep up the in ring side of it. Her lack of any change of character helps explain WWE’s thinking imo. This isn’t about who is better or has been better, it’s who holds the most value for the next 5 years. People are more than welcome to disagree with that assessment. I was just saying I think that’s where they’re coming with and if so, I agree.
And where did I say carrying a feud doesn’t need the in ring side of it? I said the ability to be great outside the ring is what can keep you relevant in your later years. Look at the Miz. Of course you can have whole feuds based entirely on the in ring part. They’re not nearly as interesting. I can’t think of a single truly memorable “in ring only” feud other than Booker T and Benoit like 25 years ago. I’m sure they exist but none come to mind. The in ring will always be important. But giving the fan a REASON to care about what’s happening is just as if not more important. The attitude era isn’t remembered so fondly because of all the 5 matches that came out of it.
I like Sasha a lot. I want to see more of the Sasha that grabbed the bow of the girls head. I hope she comes back. But I do understand why they would be hesitant if the asking price is what Becky and Charolette are getting currently.

Re: WWE Off-Topic
Based on Lacey Evans recent tweets, perhaps she's trying to not make it on TV before her promos finish airing.
People can have their own opinions on stuff, but when you're a public figure in a company like WWE, it's not exactly the best idea to post things like what she did.Comment

I don't know, I'm just trying to see what you're looking at that tells you Charlotte and Becky don't have to be in the ring for a feud but Sasha does so that's why she's not as valuable. What examples of succeeding at this and failing at this do you have to base that judgement off.Comment

Obviously VERY different reasons, but keep up with your own standards.
It's okay to have your own opinion, but when you are a public figure this can't happen.

Re: WWE Off-Topic
I honestly hope she gets fired. I never want to wish that on anyone, but that was downright not okay. Mandy Rose got fired for a violation due to the product demographic, this really isn't anything different to that regard.

Lacey isn't even a priority on TV, she'll have a much shorter rope. Probably could be fired not only given WWEs involvement in things like the special Olympics, but literally having the CEO of the company being someone who is such a big part of WWEs partnership with different organizations like that.Comment

Re: WWE Off-Topic
Stephen A Smith apparently is attending WM, and Flair was teasing SAS in WWE.
Which makes me wonder, if SAS is one of the celebrity appearances for WM, would we get him in some sort of match where he's the manager/hype man for a talent?Comment

Update potential return:
SpoilerAfter the controversy with Mandy Rose, Chelsea Green has shut down her Only Fans... fueling more speculation of a WWE return.
If Cardona returned with her, would Hunter have him be Zack Ryder again or would he be allowed to be Matt Cordona?Comment
