I’d prefer a clean ring but growing up with WCW also has me used to having logos on the mat so if they put some there? Eh, it is what it is.

Putting them on the LED boards makes a ton of sense though. I wouldn’t have a problem with that.

I'm fine with on the mat, turnbuckle pads, and the LED screens having ads on them, though I would certainly prefer not having ALL of them have Ads at the same time. It's just a shame knowing it won't reduce the amount of commercials or anything, it'll just mean more ads forever.

It's really tough to think of guys up to the level of the guys in that faction, along with the fact that factions/stables aren't what they used to be. They're either midcard, or something like Bloodline which is an outlier because it's an actual family thing.

They work so hard to make guys seem like individuals, with their own brand identity, I'm not sure the philosophy is there to do another Evolution. Would they put a Rollins or a Riddle in that group and have them be all serious? Maybe have Orton be the Flair, Cody the Triple H, and 2 NXT guys be the younger guys.

For the first time in 30 years.... Summerslam returns to the Motor City. WWE Announces Summerslam to take place at Ford Field Saturday August 5th. The last time Summerslam took place in Detroit was 1993... the one where Lex Luger beat Yokozuna by count out in the Main Event.

This is the first major show to take place at Ford Field since Wrestlemania 23 in 2007.

I'm surprised by that. Given the location though, I wonder how realistic it was for Toronto getting it.

Edge hinted at Summerslam being in Toronto where he wants to end his career, obviously that didn't work out. If it's at Ford field, maybe Rogers Centre was in play and they couldn't get it.

Sounds like he suffered another stroke and had to have emergency surgery.

Meltzer tweeted out that Lawler was awake post-op, but it’s still a grave situation at this time.

Yeah the Blue Jays schedule even hinted at Summerslam given they have a week off in August. Detroit is close enough I guess, but the one thing that is interesting. The Tigers play a series with the Rays that weekend home, a 6:10pm start on Saturday August 5th.

Do the Lions and Tigers share the same parking lot?

Update per Bryan Alvarez on WOL… Jerry Lawler was found outside his home, face down in the parking lot. A person who is close to Lawler says it was a blood blockage to the right side of his brain. He is awake but can’t talk and no feeling on the right side of his body.
