Just gonna throw it out there that Bayley and Sasha were the only ones that I can recall that already did exactly that going across all three brands to defend the titles when they were carrying the women's division during the pandemic

I have a vague memory of Asuka and Kairi going down there as champs too, but as a one-off? I’d have to Google it. I think Sasha and Bayley were the only ones to have a storyline across all three brands when they were champions though, yeah.

The tag division had potential, they just did nothing with it after the pandemic (Sasha and Bayley carried the entire division during the pandemic)

The NXT one was baffling. No reason to do it from the start.

Hopefully unifying the titles gives them reason to have main roster tag teams.

        The tag division could be:
        Candice/Indi
        Chelsea/Sonya
        Katana/Kayden
        Rousey/Shayna

With Alba/Isla on SD as well possibly joining on Raw? And then maybe we see other team up's too.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Ruthless Aggression era titles a lot, but IDK man. I know you said that YOU see as THE look for the titles but for me and a lot of people the peak of the WWE's tag team title design was the Attitude Era/Golden Era look of the titles. Particularly the AE design for me with the scratch logo and the plates being gold and not that silver/gold thing they were going with for a while.

Big missed opportunity to have the new title as the one they send out.

Send your new gold title to the Golden Knights, it fit to well...

I wonder what WWE will do with them.

WWE Payback has been announced for Saturday September 2nd, taking place from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. So I'm assuming we'll see Summerslam rematches take place there given the name of the PLE.

Guess it was only a matter of time before a "throwaway event" after having all these shows in stadiums and/or outside the US.

This will be the first main roster PLE in a US arena since Survivor Series, and first non gimmick PLE in a US arena since WM Backlash in May 2022.

It will likely cool down a bit in the fall and they will go back to doing the arenas to finish out the year with the exception of the rumored India show. Have to think with the success of these international shows that a major event will take place like a Royal Rumble or Summerslam in 2024.

I hope we have the New Day back soon.

Who knows if Big E will ever compete again, but I'd love seeing him even just as their manager while Kofi and Woods are teaming up. Or make Big E a commentator. He'd definitely be on the McAfee level of comedic/entertaining voice.

                            Might be an odd opinion.

Instead of JBL randomly being created and thrown into the main event scene... I would have loved to see Mike Awesome in that spot.

Yes, realistically it couldn't work... but man, Awesome doing his thing would have been very believable in that spot.

Awesome and Storm were doomed from the start. Fans didn't care the second they came in. I never realized how huge RVD was the moment he walked in though. He was the one guy from The Alliance fans were going crazy for over the WWF guys he was fighting.

Kanyon is the one "lesser" (not a former world champ) guy from there I think could've been good.

Vince/WWF never understood a guy like Raven similar to how they don't understand a guy like Wyatt.

DDP should've been bigger, he got arguably the biggest pop the moment he debuted compared to anyone else during the Invasion.

Awesome got the big moment being the first guy to really invade (by winning the hardcore title) but that didn't move the needle for him in any way.

Heyman goes on McAfees show and announces Fast Lane on October 7th will happen in Indianapolis.

                                McAfee vs Reigns coming up?
