What's everyone's opinion on this 'controversy' and story that Ronda Rousey is peddling about Drew Goulak?

I get Ronda has a book to sell and she 'hates' the WWE (again, I think), but Goulak would've been immediately fired had this been a true form of harassment.

Drew has responded on X/Twitter about the accusation. He says he was only reaching for her hand to shake. Grabbed her sweatpants drawstring accidentally and immediately apologized.

I find her timing with all this interesting (she's been really badmouthing WWE for a month or so) with a book to sell, this being WrestleMania week and all the gross **** McMahon is accused of. [emoji848]

His response didn't say he immediately apologized, just that he apologized at some point afterwards...which tracks with her story.

How often are you going in for a handshake and accidentally grab someone's drawstring? It's possible but the odds have to be small. Then even smaller odds to not correct it right away and shake her hand as he meant to.

I think she's being dramatic in how she tells it now but I could totally buy that he was walking through the halls and grabbed at her drawstring in a friendly jokey co-worker way, she didn't take it as such, and now there's an issue between them.

He also would not have been immediately fired for grabbing someone's drawstring. I mean come on, it's still WWE.

You are correct.

He didn't say 'immediately' and I shouldn't have stated as such.

I still find it bizarre to attempt to make a parallel between that incident & Vince's actions.

Agreed. Trying to link those and make it a "WWE culture" thing is part of what I'd call her dramatic telling of it now, but it is what it is. Unless some of the people that were around chime in we just have Ronda's and Drew's sides of it and maybe that's all we'll ever know.

They should have had Cody & Seth crash Jimmy Fallon's show and confront Rock and Roman. Even better, Rock & Roman take over one of the late night shows NWO style with Cody & Seth confronting them afterwards.

And that makes it sound like it's his decision to not be around right now.

Brock literally never needs to make another appearance again in his life and he'd have no problem with that.

I just wonder IF that's true, is it his decision to stay home, or did any of the news the last few months cause any sort of issues back home for him?
