But with how formulaic music production is nowadays, I really think they need someone that is a fan (or was a fan) and can immerse themselves in WWE.

That first note is the most important, I agree, but how many 'outsiders' know and understand that?

This is where the short-sightedness and overly corporate structure hurts the modern product, IMO. Thinking they could just sub-contract their music division and no longer needed that 'in-house' touch is dumb.

They needed to have someone as an understudy to Johnston 20 years ago and not have 'fired' him (or whatever ended the relationship) so abruptly.

And I'm a person that is lukewarm and not super negative on modern entrance music, but even I see that their process has been bad since he left.

I think I've settled in on the opinion that it's infuriating that they changed Roman's theme. Don't care if he's a good guy now. He needs his old theme.

Also, Imperium/Gunther. Whoever made the decision to change from from the full Dvorak is insane.

But yeah, way too many songs that are not distinct enough on the first hit. This is something that is critical to the show. Last night, Bayley's music hit but it wasn't her main version and it took me forever to realize it.

They've done some good work for sure of late but by and large, there's so much room for improvement.

TKO definitely laying the groundwork for a WWE show at the Vegas Sphere. Based off this intro.... a WWE show there be it RAW after Mania or Smackdown before Mania would be pretty neat.

I'm already dreading Mania ticket prices... I can't imagine how much a show would cost at the Sphere.

With an 18k capacity, tickets starting at like $10k or something lol. Wrestlemania at The Sphere seems like a silly idea. Better off with the visual a football stadium gives. Unless they can recreate the complete WM9 venue experience digitally on that giant video board lol.

The thing about the sphere for WM weekend, WWE likes having multiple events in the venue. If they can pull off a deal where SD/HOF and Raw are in the sphere for the weekend then that would be great. Maybe they cut a deal that gets it a cheaper rate since they're booking 2 different days in the venue over the course of those 4 days.

They wouldn't need to set up their usual stage since they could use the screens in the sphere to be their stage, that alone would save them time/money compared to a usual arena show setup.

SNME returning December 14th on NBC.

Glad we see that instead of Tribute to the Troops.

I'm guessing it's a 2 hour show?

Can't believe we haven't had a SNME special since 2008.

One of the reasons I found going to that Roadblock PLE in 2016 to be special. It was one of WWEs first televised/filmed Saturday night shows since their SNME revival in the 00s.

SRS says that people in WWE said they spoke with Jimmy recently and he's fine so...

People are thinking this is more Rikishi just being Rikishi but you never know anymore. He has been vocal about what he thinks the Usos SHOULD be doing, not that it's his decision.
