In my experience the kick out meter being infrequent seems to be on purpose, it shows after after the count of 1 if your being pinned after a finisher because its just that and therefore the character would be initially groggy or dazed from said finisher so you have less time to try and kick out BUT the kick out meter shows up right away say after a suplex or piledriver or a non finisher move because the character is not nearly as dazed from the move. I think its intentional by the programers to do that.

I don't notice that at all.

I've seen the meter not pop up until after the one count on very simple moves. It seems to be completely random to me.

I haven't played this game in a while so tonight i decided to pop it in and give it a try again.

I just had a match, CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan. I was dominating the entire match, hitting signature moves, beating the crap out of Bryan, hit him with 3 GTS and it still wasn't enough. He kicks out knocks me down with a punch, pops on a submission and the "breaking point" meter is full before i even have time to realize what happened. It was pretty ridiculous and enough for me to say, "f this" and basically decide that i'm done with this game.
