Thanks for following, man! Glad you're enjoying it so far! And as far as the Smackdown show being a little weak with the roster, I also realized that which is why I had sent over Lita and Trish to Smackdown...originally they had been on RAW.

I have some ideas on how i'm going to get some superstarts over to Smackdown, but I don't want to reveal what i'm going to do yet. It all comes with the storyline!

If we don't use any of the attitude era guys, will we still be able to get those "storylines" to happen that we unlocked in attitude era mode?

Go to the match cards, and highlight each match. If a match allows the option for "Interference", then it (most likely) will not have a cut scene. This match can be fully customized with no penalty.

If the match does not allow the option for "Interference", then it will have a cutscene and a storyline attached to it. Altering this match in any way will stop the cut scene from playing out.

So what I do is before every show, I look at the match card and inspect every match. If there is a storyline attached to a particular match, then I decide if that is a storyline / feud that I want playing out. If I approve it, then I will play the match as booked, and allow the storyline to play out. If it is a feud that I don't approve of (for example, my D-Generation X stable is Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, and Mike Tyson - there was a storyline match that pitted Triple H and X-Pac vs. Shawn Michaels and Mike Tyson. I did not want a potential DX feud that would break them up, so I didn't play those matches, creating another feud instead), I change the match to something else that I'd rather have happen instead.

          July | Week 2

          David Otunga def. Kofi Kingston
John Laurinaitis sat ringside as his prize investment, "A-List" David Otunga took on one half of NXT's World Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston. Kofi took and early advantage, but Otunga fought back, gaining the upper hand. John Cena rushed the ring as Otunga and Kingston fought outside the ring. Just as Otunga put Kofi out with The Verdict, John Cena distracted the referee from making the 3 count. Unfortunately, this backfired, as with the referee's focus on John Cena, David Otunga grabbed a steel chair from under the ring and began to beat Kofi with it. After a 2nd Verdict, Otunga put Kofi out for good, picking up the victory.

          Chris Jericho def. Kane
Chris Jericho put away the Big Red Monster, building early momentum heading into Money In The Bank.

John Laurinaitis came to the ring to address John Cena's actions earlier in the night. John Cena came to the ring to face Laurinaitis, only for Big Show to come to the ring and KO Punch Cena, leaving him laying in the ring.

The Miz attacks Triple H backstage, giving The Game a Skull Crushing Finale on the backstage concrete, and then slamming him into a pile of crates. Referees rushed to Triple H's aid as the Intercontinental Champion walked off, proud of his actions.

          The Rock def. CM Punk
Following The Rock's victory over CM Punk, Brock Lesnar's music hit. Lesnar came from the crowd, attacking The Rock from behind, leaving the WWE Champion on his back as Raw went off the air.

              July | Week 2

Vince McMahon came to the ring to open the show, to announce that there would be a Fatal 4 Way match, where the winner of the match would be added to the Money In The Bank match. McMahon continued to say that there would be a special referee for the match - Himself! Mr. McMahon proceeded to announce the participants for the matchup: Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Wade Barrett, and Randy Orton!

Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio, and Eddie Guerrero
The Viper earned a trip to Money In The Bank with his victory in the Fatal 4 Way after pinning Wade Barrett.

              The Miz def. Rikishi

              Cody Rhodes def. Sin Cara
Rhodes attacked Sin Cara on the ramp before the match began, and had the upper hand throughout. Sin Cara showed signs of life by reversing a Cross Rhodes and going for his armbar finisher, but Cody Rhodes was able to get to the ropes and break the hold. Rhodes finally put Sin Cara out with a successful Cross Rhodes. Rhodes is on a roll, taking Christian out of action last week, and a big win against Sin Cara this week.

              Daniel Bryan def. Sheamus
Daniel Bryan didn't want to wait for this match, rushing the ring and attacking Sheamus from the jump. The 2 battled fiercely, but Bryan wanted it more, locking Sheamus in the YES! Lock and making him tap.

Stone Cold def. Alberto Del Rio and Edge

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Started an Attitude era Universe with Raw being the major show and Smackdown & Heat being minor shows.

                World champion - The Rock
                Intercontinental - Ken Shamrock
                European - British Bulldog
                Hardcore - Hardcore Holly
                Tag - New Age Outlaws
                Womens - Lita

I've written up the 1st week of results and have some interesting things going on. However I'm going to record my show and do little scenes in story designer to then edit in. Nothing major just things like someone coming to the ring and a simple test statement like "The Rock is calling out the champ" or "Austin berates McMahon about not getting a shot at the title" so won't need to worry about capturing the essence of the stars promo's. Wouldn't embarrass myself trying to come up with the same promo stuff Rock does.

I'll post my first week of results tonight after work, then I'll get working on planning out the first live episode of Raw!

                  Update #4

Week 1 RAW Results & Highlights:

-At the start of the show, it is announced the Shane McMahon will be dropped from the Smackdown roster and be named RAW GM. He goes onto tell the audience that because of his departure from Smackdown, a match will be held on RAW next week and the loser will leave RAW and head to Smackdown.

-Stevie Boy defeats Primo in his wrestling debut. After the match, Primo offers a shandshake and Stevie Boy accepts the offer. Primo raises Stevie Boy's hand in congratulations for winning his debut match-up.

                  - Kofi Kingston & R-Truth defeat John Cena and Brock Lesner to retain the world tag team title. Cena and Lesner were set up together because of the dominance they have shown as individual wrestlers. They were expected to win this match, but to everyone's surprise they lost. After the match, Cena and Lesner began talking trash to one another. Could this be the start of something?

-Beth Phoenix defeats Kelly Kelly to defend her Diva's Title.

-Rey Mysterio defeats The Miz to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Before the match, an unknown figure dressed in black attacked Rey Mysterio from behind the back and throughout the match it was easy to see that Mysterio was wrestling through pain. Still, he was able to finish the job. At the end of the match, the unknown figure came out again and attacked Mysterio, leaving him on the ground and helping The Miz get to his feet.

-Kane defeats CM Punk to become the new WWE Champion in a Hell in a Cell match. It was a brutal match throughout as both mens face were bloody by the time this one was over. Just as it seemed Punk was about to finish off Kane, Kane countered Punk's attack and chokeslammed Punk, followed by a Tombstone, which would conclude the match.

Stay tuned for next week's RAW!

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Man, now with the new belts coming out with the DLC I kind of want to start a ECW Roster too! The only thing is that 3 major shows can't share 1 overall title.

I think what I'll do is have the WWE Undisputed Title as an "unofficial" title and have 1 PPV for all 3 rosters (if possible) with the last match ALWAYS being a Triple Threat between the WWF champ, WCW champ, and ECW champ for the Undisputed belt.

That sounds like fun to me. Plus this way I can have more titles (I have over 120 on my roster and only 4 belts

Im not starting over just reorganizing AGAIN

                      WWF:
                      Major - WWF Championship
                      Minor - WWE Intercontinental Championship
Tag - WWF Old School TT Belts ( I hate the way the new ones look)
Women - WWF Womens Champ (not divas belt, hate that one too)

                      WCW:
                      Major - World Heavyweight Champ
                      Minor - US Champ
                      TT - WCW TT Champ
Women - WCW Womens Champ (created)

                      ECW:
                      Major - ECW Champ
                      Minor - Hardcore Champ
                      TT - ECW TT Champs
Women - ECW Womens Champ (created)

Overall Champion - WWE Undisputed Champion

I gotta go on CC and get all the ECW rings, but I think I like this set up better than the one I have now!
Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

                        Week 1

                        Raw

The Corporation team of Bossman and Shamrock open the show, telling the New Age Outlaws that they won't be holding onto the Tag titles for much longer. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn walk out onto the stage and say they'll take on The Corporation anytime, anywhere. Bossman challenges them to a match tonight, right now, on Raw!

Match 1 – Corporation def NAO – Shamrock picks up a submission victory and makes Road Dogg tap! It wasn't a title match but The Corporation now have the upper hand against the champs.

Match 2 – Ivory def Tori – Both women are after Lita's championship, Ivory gets the win!

The Nation of Domination's Mark Henry marches down to the ring accompanied by D-Lo Brown. He says that The Nation is the way forward and if people don't conform then they'll get crushed. He offers an open challenge to any one back stage stupid enough to face their might. Funaki of Kaientai answers the call! I don't think he realises what he's gotten himself in to!

Match 3 – Mark Henry def Funaki – Funaki tries but Henry is too much and makes light work of the plucky challenger. The Nation celebrate the win and kick Funaki out the ring.

Vince McMahon walks down to the ring, surrounded by his Corporation members. He informs the crowd that he's not happy with The Rock being champion and feels somebody from his team would be best suited as champ. Therefore next week, The Rock will be going one on one against The Giant Paul Wight for the World title. The Rocks music hits and he walks down to the ring, title held aloft as he climbs the turnbuckle. He berates Vince and the rest of the Corporation before agreeing to the match. Rock turns to leave but backs into Paul Wight, who proceeds to chokeslam The Rock! The Corporation exit the ring and a smiling Vince also tells the Rock that the winner of tonights Number 1 contender match will be the special guest referee.

Match 4 – Kane W/Paul Bearer def Vader – The big red machine and the man they call Vader lock horns in this battle of the giants! The camera pans around the ring and we see that X-Pac is in the crowd! Both men gave demonstrations of their strength with Kane eventually gaining the upperhand. After that it was one way traffic with Kane battling like a man possessed. Vader fell victim to a chokeslam through the announcers table and also a tombstone in the ring. Kane wandered outside and X-Pac caught his attention, before punching Kane and leaving. It still wasn't enough to stop Kane though and he proceeded to chokeslam Vader one more time before pinning him. As Kane was regaining his composure Paul Wight ran out and attacked him with a lead pipe!

Main Event - #1 contenders match – Stone Cold def Mankind – It seems Paul Wight has been given free reign tonight by Vince. Buoyed by his title shot next week on Raw Wight has so far attacked Kane after his victory, and now blindsided Mankind as he made his way to the ring! Is Wight trying to eliminate any potential challengers if he wins the title? Either way, Mankind fought valiantly like the tough SOB he is but Austin managed to finally put him away with a stunner. He's now the number one contender and special ref next week for the title match! Things dont end there though, as Austin celebrates Shawn Michaels of DX attacks him in the ring!

                        ----------------------------

                        Week 1 - Smackdown!
Shawn Michaels, HHH, X-Pac, and Chyna kick things off in the ring. Michaels says that he did what he did last week because he should have been the one getting that shot at the Rock, not Austin. He says Austin has had his shot and now it's Michaels turn to get back in the spot light. Seems like Michaels has officially entered himself in the title race and is taking no prisoners! Like Wight he seems to be trying to eliminate future competition to the title as well!

Match 1 – Grandmaster Sexay def Funaki – Short opener to get things in motion. GMS picks up an easy victory. Funaki still doesn't seem to have recovered from his mauling by Mark Henry on Raw a few nights ago.

Match 2 – Scotty 2 Hotty def Gangrel – The Broods former leader seems lost without his... well... Brood. This was a match he should have won.

A recorded video from Austin plays. He lets Michaels know that he ain't gonna forget about the cheap shot on Raw and will get revenge. He warns Michaels to watch his back. He addresses the match next week between The Rock and Paul Wight and says the only thing he wants is the title. He will call the match down the middle and couldn't give a rats *** if those 2 kill each other in the ring.

Match 3 – Dean Malenko def Val Venis – Radicalz member Malenko shows his singles prowess in a good victory against Venis

Match 4 – Hardcore Holly def Goldust – Holly took no prisoners tonight defeating the golden one with ease. Holly is gunning for the European title currently held by British Bulldog.

Main Event – Bret Hart def Eddie Guerrero – Bret letting the world know he's still around and not to forget about him just yet with a victory against Eddie.

                        -----------------

                        Heat
Match 1 – Val Venis def Scotty 2 Hotty
Match 2 – Trish Stratus def Lita
Match 3 – Rikishi def Gangrel and Grand Master Sexay
Match 4 – Bradshaw vs Kane – No contest after Paul Wight runs to the ring and chokeslams both competitors.
Main Event – Shawn Michaels def Eddie Guerrero – Another defeat for Eddie this week. Even a Chris Jericho run in on Michaels couldn't stop the show stopper from picking up the win. After the match Bret Hart appears on the ramp and looks on at Shawn. Does Bret have unfinished business with his long time rival?

That wraps up the first week of shows. I'm now going to work on recording them and adding promos using story designer! I'll probs work on it on a weekly basis due to editing times and things but i'll keep posting as long as people are interested.

                          The Rock def. Brock Lesnar
An angry WWE Champion rushed the ring, wasting no time in attacking Brock Lesnar. After the early onslaught, Lesnar soon gained the upper hand, putting The Rock in a very bad spot in the match. Somehow, The People's Champion was able to kick out of an F5, and hung on for a victory following a Rock Bottom.

Disclaimer - my updates are not as well put together as Franchise or Stevie

                            Shout out to those guys!

                            Update!

WWE Undisputed Champ - The Rock '99, after months of fueding with Hogan The Rock regained his title as the WWE Undisputed Champ, recently changed from its former name.. World Heavyweight Championship

WWF TT Champs - Rock 99' & Mark Henry (The Nation), The Nation stole the TT belts on Thursday night Raw is War. There was a Tag Team title match schedueled and there was a surprise special ref! Kama! (from The Nation!) The Crew who were the defending champs didnt have a chance.

WWF Champ - There was also a newly instituted WWF Divional belt. It was determined by a 6 man ladder match, and the winner was The Rock 99'! He currently holding 3 belts, as The Nation of Domination clearly is planning a takeover of the WWE

WCW Champ - same as the WWF, the WCW had a 6 man ladder match to determine the WCW divisional champ and that man was Hollywood Hogan representing the nWo!

WCW TT Champs - coming soon (waiting on Dec 4 DLC)

WWE Womens Champ - Kharma won a 4 woman battle royal eliminating the previous champ Azrael to become the new WWE ****** champ!

ECW news: This will be added soon (possibly this weekend)
ECW Champ - vacant, coming soon
ECW TT Champs - coming soon (Dec 4)

There will be no womens title nor will there be a minor title for the ECW

There will still only be 1 PPV where the 3 divisional champs (WWF,WCW, & ECW) will go at it in various style triple threat matches to determine The Undisputed Championship.

This will be started after Royal Rumble this Sunday.

                            Unofficial Title news
Hardcore Champ - Ryback is still the Hardcore champ, The Alliance (Ryback, Goldberg, Lesnar) has been fueding with the nWo to not allow them to take total control of the WCW. They also have their sights on the WCW Divisional belt and the soon to come WCW TT belts!

Cruiserweight Champ - Chris Benoit, recently defeated Hunico for the belt. But he has been fighting The Cartel (Hunico, Mr. Mendoza, JBL, & Camacho) ever since. Benoit has also had to fight Eddie Guererro, Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara and a host of other cruiserweights with their eye on title. In my Universe not being in a stable can get pretty lonely so Im sure Benoit will have some reinforcements sooner than not (maybe Ill create a new 4 Horsemen stable)

Thats whats going on in my Universe
Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..

                              Re-Organizing My Universe

In my ongoing quest to try to get more of my roster involved week to week and improve some of the match making, I re-org'd my Universe brands.

Really, I'm operating as one brand but splitting up my roster between main-eventers, mid-tier, and low-tier / (tag) specialists.

There are a couple of annoying restrictions the game enforces that makes this harder than it should be: a belt can only be shared across two shows and one show's major belt cannot be another show's minor belt.

So my latest gameplan is to make RAW my main-event showcase, Smackdown for the middle tier, and Superstars for the rest. Therefore, I tried to set up the belts and rosters accordingly for each show.

RAW: I removed all the belts except the Heavyweight championship belt and adjusted the roster for top-rated singles wrestlers only.

Smackdown: I set the belts for the Heavyweight championship (major), IC belt (minor), and the tag belts. I set the roster for mid-tier talent, and upper tier singles/tag talent.

Superstars: I set the belts for the US belt (major), IC belt (minor), and the tag belts. For the roster, I put in the lower tier singles and tag talent.

With this system in place, I ought to get, stories/feuds notwithstanding, mostly upper-tier and mid-tier matches on RAW (due to cross-over with the Heavyweight belt), the full spectrum of talent on Smackdown (due to cross-over with all the belts), and a mix of mid-tier and lower-tier matches on Superstars (due to cross-over on the IC and tag belts).

Here's the matchups Universe gave me for my first week with the new setup (winners in bold):

                              RAW:
                              • Bret Hart vs. Iron Sheik.
                              • Ric Flair vs. Cactus Jack.
                              • Roddy Piper / Randy Savage vs. Lex Luger / King Kong Bundy.
                              • Ultimate Warrior vs. Sting.
                              • Hulk Hogan vs. Kevin Nash.

                              Smackdown:
                              • Great Muta / Ricky Steamboat vs. Rick Rude / Sycho Sid.
                              • Rhythm & Blues vs. New Age Outlaws.
                              • Shawn Michaels vs. Meng.
                              • Rey Mysterio vs. Dynamite Kid (submission match):.

                              Superstars:
                              • JYD vs. Ricky Morton.
                              • Acolytes vs. New Age Outlaws.
                              • Robert Gibson vs. Saturn.
                              • Rey Mysterio vs. Brian Knobbs.
                              • Hillbilly Jim vs. X-Pac (falls count anywhere).

                                July | Week 3

                                Stone Cold v. Bret Hart
                                No Contest
With a #1 Contender's Match later in the night against Edge, Alberto Del Rio wanted to show that he's gunning for Austin's World Heavyweight Championship. With the referee incapacitated, Del Rio rushed into the ring and locked Austin in the Cross Armbar, until the referee woke up and threw the match out. Later tonight will determine if Del Rio will get his shot at Austin's title!

Mr. McMahon came to the ring to announce the 6th competitor in Money In The Bank. The Corporation's music hits for a 2nd time, as the Chairman reveals his son Shane McMahon as the final competitor in Money In The Bank! Cody Rhodes came to the ring, unhappy with McMahon's announcement. Proclaiming that he's been on a roll recently on Smackdown, Rhodes states that he deserves to be in Money In The Bank. He proceeds to hit Cross Rhodes on Vince McMahon. Shane-O-Mac and Rhodes briefly go back and forth, until Cody lays Shane out with another Cross Rhodes, leaving The Corporation beaten in the ring.

Mr. McMahon def. Cody Rhodes via DQ
Vince McMahon returned to the ring in his wrestling gear, issuing a challenge to Cody Rhodes. Cody's music hit, but he didn't appear on the stage. Instead, he came from the crowd, attacking Mr. McMahon from behind. Immediately hitting Cross Rhodes on McMahon, the Chairman was somehow able to kick out! In frustration, Rhodes grabbed a chair from ringside, cracking it across McMahon's face, in blatant view of the referee. The referee called for the bell, disqualifying Rhodes, but the damage was already done.

                                Sheamus def. Daniel Bryan
Sheamus rushed Daniel Bryan from behind as Bryan made his way to the ring. The two continued to brawl around the ring, with Sheamus absolutely dominating D-Bry. Bryan never gave up, continuing to fight back, but only got a White Noise through the announce table for his troubles. Sheamus tossed Daniel Bryan back in the ring, where the match finally became official. Sheamus immediately went for a pin, and to his surprise, Daniel Bryan kicked out after being put through the announce table! Sheamus continued the beatdown, finally ending the match for good with a Broque Kick to Daniel Bryan's face.

                                #1 Contender's Match
                                Alberto Del Rio def. Edge
In typical Del Rio fashion, the Mexican Aristocrat wore down Edge's arms, setting up for the Cross Armbar. After a technical display from Del Rio, he finally locked in his finisher, forcing the Rated R Superstar to tap out. For 2 months, Del Rio has been on a quest for the World Heavyweight Championship, and he'll finally get his opportunity at Money In The Bank! After the match, Austin appeared on the stage, making it known to his challenger that the Texas Rattlesnake is prepared!
