We basically are forced to use their match cards to get storylines going, that sucks! If they release an update for this game to make universe start storylines based on what you're booking I'll be so jolly!

option #2 is to make your own storylines...I'm debating doing this myself. Just havent had time to work on much. So I just do my universe however I want to. Get a few matches in then off to work lol...

Thats pretty much what I do is have my own storylines. When I get cutscenes I make stable/disable stables off of that, make title matches, etc.

I go the other way-- I let the CPU control the card and just roll with the sometimes odd match-ups. I do wish the CPU would be a bit more creative-- I'm sick to death of Triple Threat matches...

Which I don't understand why they changed it in the first place, because last year the game created storylines off the matches that you booked. It sucks that they changed it.

Scott Steiner, most title defenses currently in my universe. After this week's Raw, defended for the 10th time!
This past Raw Freakzilla was in a 6-man over the top Battle Royal. (Me being John Cena...and no I hate Cena, nor did I throw the match lol) Steiner eliminated Lesnar, I threw out Buff Bagwell and HHH, and Scott got Kevin Nash, so it came down to Cena v Steiner for the WCW Heavyweight Title....after bashing me around I got momentum on my side, but 4 attempts and I couldn't get Steiner out. Then Freakzilla rolled in and beat the holy crap out of Cena, broke his back with a Steiner Recliner, and hit an atomic drop by the ropes that Cena bounced over the top on.

I swear I didn't throw the match...Steiner is the man!

HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME!

Hey guys my first time posting on here as I usually stick to the MLB threads. So not sure if i'm supposed to post stuff like this, sorry if i'm not, please tell me if i'm not. But anyway what do you guys think of my roster for my universe?

AUGUST | Week 2

Ryback def. Tensai
Ryback faced off against Tensai in his debut match. His in ring debut was almost spoiled as David Otunga came to interfere, distracting the referee as Ryback was building momentum. Ryback left the ring to go after Otunga, and was setting up for a Shell Shock outside the ring, until the Harvard law grad countered it and sent Ryback back into the ring. Tensai set up for the mist, and Otunga thought the match was in the bag, so he made his way backstage. But Ryback was able to get out of the ring and recover, and after rebuilding his momentum finished off Tensai with Shell Shock. After the match, Ryback just shouted "Feed me Otunga!"

Paul Heyman made his first appearance, announcing that he has officially taken over the managerial role for CM Punk and Brock Lesnar, officially dubbing them Team Heyman. Brock Lesnar joined his new manager in the ring. Their party was interrupted by Mankind coming out. Mankind went straight for Heyman, but Lesnar stopped him, giving the hardcore legend an F5 for his troubles.

David Otunga thought he had a plan to deal with Ryback. Searching backstage, he found the APA and tried to make a deal with them to protect him against Ryback. They didn't take too kindly to that, and Faarooq and Bradshaw whooped Otunga's *** throughout the backstage area.

John Cena def. John Laurinaitis
Triple H sat ringside to watch this match. The question now is - who is scheduling John Laurinaitis in a series of matches?

CM Punk def. The Rock
The numbers game for Team Heyman finally paid off. As The Rock made his way to the ring for his match against CM Punk, Lesnar attacked him from behind. After the beating, Lesnar tossed the WWE Champion into the ring, where CM Punk finished the job. CM Punk finished off The Rock with a GTS, and after the victory, continued the beating, grabbing a steel chair from under the ring and assaulting The Rock as Raw went off the air.

AUGUST | Week 2

Stone Cold def. David Otunga
Mr. Money In The Bank had a surprisingly good showing against the World Heavyweight Champion, but it wasn't enough, as Otunga became yet another victim to the Stunner.

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Miz (C) def. Eddie Guerrero
After the challenger kicked out of a Skull Crushing Finale, the champion decided to change his tactics, distracting the referee and using foreign objects to beat down Eddie Guerrero. Miz' tactics worked, as he was never caught by the referee, and was able to finish the match, successfully retaining the belt.

John Laurinaitis came to the ring to call out The Corporation for scheduling him in matches against Triple H and John Cena. Shane McMahon answered the call, saying that he nor his father Vince had anything to do with it. Before they could get any further, Cody Rhodes rushed the ring, attacking Shane McMahon.

Rey Mysterio def. Alberto Del Rio via DQ
Del Rio attacked Mysterio before the match began. The referee tossed the match out after Del Rio grabbed a steel chair and his Mysterio with it.

Falls Count Anywhere
Randy Orton def. Sheamus
Orton didn't want to wait, and rushed the ring, attacking Sheamus immediately. The match quickly spilled outside the ring where the 2 men went at each other. Somehow Sheamus was able to survive being RKO'd through the announce table, but the damage had already been done. Orton kept the advantage, and a follow up RKO finished the job once and for all.

I just had a really strange month. I have a WWF and a WCW show, and they both hosted the Great American Bash. All month on the weekly shows I had storylines building with cutscenes and I'm expecting the blowoffs to be at the PPV. I get to the PPV, and every match is just random guys thrown together. I'm assuming it's because after the first week of programming, I changed my PPV theme to elimination chamber and that messed all of the storylines up

I finally started my Universe.

I got rid of Smackdown, changed Superstars to NXT and moved the mid-to-main card guys onto Raw, all the lower card guys to NXT.

I don't like it.

I don't feel like I have enough matches on Raw to get what I like.

May have to restart.
