Good technical match which ended as Ziggler had his roll up reversed into one by Ambrose for the three count.

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Shield (c) def. The Dream Team (Cody/Dustin Rhodes)

Reigns speared The Natural through the barricade and picked up the pinfall, titles retained.

WWE Championship / Iron Man Match
Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton, 6-4, to win the WWE Championship

Classic for the ages as Bryan persevered past the lethal former MITB holder. Bryan grabbed the lead with an early shot with steel steps to Orton. American Dragon forced The Legend Killer to tap while on the outside but Orton bashed him with a ladder. Orton connected with RKO after RKO, bloodying the YES! man while getting some pins. He knocked Bryan down with his signature clotheslines and powerslam. Bryan unleashed some highflying offense (springboard drop kicks and crossbodies) and locked in the YES! Lock again. Orton regained control with a Canadian neckbreaker and later a catapult RKO as DBry leaped in from the apron. Bryan's shoot kicks followed by a German suplex put Orton away once. He surprised Orton with a roll-up on the outside for a pinfall but Orton again delivered the patented cutter and covered. A necklock backbreaker got a point for the "face of the WWE" but Bryan remained ahead at that point. Another maneuver figured to keep Bryan down for the 3 but the fiery underdog kicked out. He reversed an Orton small package into one of his own and scored a pin. Randy Orton's time ran out as he attempted to make Bryan submit with seconds on the clock. The bloodied Bryan had survived. Our new WWE Champion has foiled the Corporation's plan, for now.

Intercontinental Championship #1 Contendership
C.M. Punk (w/Colt Cabana) def. Ryback (w/Curtis Axel)

Neither Cabana nor Axel played much a factor - Punk sent the Big Guy to sleep.

World Heavyweight Championship / Extreme Rules Match
Alberto Del Rio (c) def. RVD (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)

ADR and RVD brutalized each other but it ended strangely in a roll-up reversal by the champion to pick up the win.

WWE Championship #1 Contendership Battle Royal
Ted DiBiase eliminated Ric Flair last to win the battle royal

World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contendership Battle Royal
AJ Styles eliminated Scott Hall last to win the battle royal

the match lasted 34 seconds.

Winner: Brie Bella after interference from AJ Lee.

Santino Marella vs. Ryback

Winner: Santino via COBRA!

Santino offers a handshake after the match but Ryback refuses.

Curtis Axel vs. Fandango

Winner: Curt Axel

Axel offers a handshake but Fandango slaps it away.

Main Event: CM Punk vs. John Cena

Epic match, watched this one and it lasted about 15 minutes. Bunch of reversals.

Winner: John Cena after 4 Attitude Adjustments.

After staring Cena down last week these 2 meet in the ring only to have Big Show sit for commentary, Kane would hit 2 chokeslams and a tombstone to finish off Cena

• Christian won a 10-man battle royal for a U.S. title shot (other participants - Roderick Strong, Jay Lethal, Jinder Mahal, The Miz, Zack Ryder, El Generico, Fandango, Sheamus, AJ Styles).

• C.M. Punk joined the commentary table to observe Ryback taking on his friend Colt Cabana. Cabana fell to the Big Guy via a Shell Shock.

• Daniel Bryan pinned Ted DiBiase Sr.'s (and likely the Corporation's) bodyguard Andre the Giant in an upset, but suffered a post-match beating from Triple H.

• Chris Jericho won a 6-man battle royal for the Cruiserweight Championship (other participants - Sin Cara, Ultimo Dragon, KENTA, Adrian Neville, Fandango).

• After a brutal and bloody battle, Dean Ambrose forced Christian to submit to a Dragon Sleeper and retained his U.S. Championship.

• Alberto Del Rio made fellow submission specialist Kurt Angle tap out to a cross armbreaker in a non-title match.

• William Regal eliminated Muhammad Hassan, Low Ki, JBL, Mr. Perfect, and Bully Ray to retain the European Championship.

• C.M. Punk put the Corporation's Ted DiBiase Jr. to sleep, retaining his Intercontinental title.

• Mark Henry inducted John Cena into the Hall of Pain in the first match of the Gold Rush tournament for a future WWE title shot.

• The Corporation threw "the Beast" Brock Lesnar at Daniel Bryan, and it worked. The Heyman Guy put the WWE Champion away - coincidence, or not?

• Davey Richards beat Eddie Guerrero, Shawn Michaels, RVD, Jeff Hardy, and Chris Jericho to win the Cruiserweight Championship.

• The Game pinned Bobby Roode to advance to the next round in the tourney.

• Colt Cabana came down to assist Daniel Bryan in a handicap match against Ted DiBiase Sr., Curtis Axel, and Dean Ambrose, and the underdog team got the victory.

• El Generico Brainbustered his way past Kurt Angle in the Smackdown Gold Rush tournament.

• Edge speared The Chosen One twice to pick up a win and move into the next round.

• Roderick Strong def. Dustin Rhodes, Zack Ryder, Justin Gabriel, Jinder Mahal, and Wade Barrett to become U.S. title #1 contender.

Smackdown week 2

Antonio Cesaro vs. Yoshi Tatsu vs. Damien Sandow

Cesaro and Sandow doubled teamed Tatsu the whole match, but in the end as Damien threw Yoshi out of the ring, Cesaro would hit an uppercut to the back of Sandow's head fot the 3 count

Winner: Antonio Cesaro

Khali and Kofi vs. Slater and Otunga

Winners: Kofi Kingston and Great Khali

Zack Ryder def. Jinder Mahal

Cody Rhodes def. Wade Barrett

RVD vs. Drew Mcintyre
After beating the I.C. champion last week, RVD was looking for 2 straight victorys over Drew, RVD would dominate this match but would miss the 5 star frog splash, in which Mcintyre would take advantage and hit the future shock for the win.

• Kane Tombstoned Goldberg to hell, going on to the next round.

• Samoa Joe was determined but not enough to push through former IC Champion Curtis Axel, who drove his head into the mat with a Hangman's facebuster.

• RAW's star-studded main event saw The Corporation/Heyman Guys feuds collide. Intercontinental Champion C.M. Punk and WWE Undisputed Champion Daniel Bryan tagged against rivals Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar. The end came when a bloodied Daniel Bryan was occupied with the Viper and Lesnar F5ed Punk for the winning pin. Before Bryan faces Ted Sr. at Survivor Series, he must go through Orton with the title on the line. Punk must now defend his title against Lesnar.

Spoiler

interesting cutscenes while playing the above match a few times - one saw Barrett and Ryback attacking DBry/Punk after their win + Punk was rolled up by Orton early and handed him the IC title, lol.

• World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio sent protege Hunico after #1 contender AJ Styles, prior to their title match at Survivor Series. 7 plus minutes of high-flying action in and the Phenomenal One finished Hunico off with a springboard splash.

• Dean Ambrose of the Shield delivered a lethal Headlock Driver onto a broken announce table to defeat challenger Roderick Strong. Who's next in line for a U.S. title opportunity?

• Youngster Hunter Hearst Helmsley looked game against John Morrison, connecting with a Pedigree for the victory.
