Anyway, I came here to say that I just had the best match of my WWE video game career (and I've played a lot of matches). It was Jericho v CM Punk (I'm CM Punk), with the pacing of the match being normal. The first 10 minutes were pure technical spectacle, with both guys getting in their fair share of reverses and shots in. Then, the next five or so minutes consisted of a brutal attack from both of them. CM Punk gets put into a Walls of Jericho, but barely makes it to the ropes. With the momentum, CM Punk hits Jericho with his signature bulldog before climbing the turnbuckle to give Jericho a flying elbow to hopefully end it.

But wait! Jericho gets up, and puts a codebreaker on CM Punk mid-air! Chills literally crept up my spine. Not to mention that earlier in the show, Brotus Clay put Zach Ryder through the barricade and made him get DQed. Outside of what PVarck just mentioned, this game is golden to me right now.

Have you finished the AE mode yet, PVarck? I know that you have to unlock a lot of the available storylines from there, so that might be it. I know I haven't finished AE yet.
Haven't finished it yet. I'm stuck on the damn Royal Rumble.

In my second week of my AE Universe Faaroq turned on Bradshaw after their tag match and their Tag Team was removed from the universe. They are rivals now. Not huge but at least something besides a run-in.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Enjoying the game immensely, but Universe mode has kind of irked me so far. With '200+ new storylines/cut scenes' being purported to be in Universe mode for '13, I haven't seen a single new one yet. Finished Attitude Era mode & went ahead and bought Fan Axxess to automatically unlock the unlockables (I'm a cheater, I know), so the lack of having the 'Storyline Pack' (or whatever) isn't the issue.

Hopefully some awesome feuds begin to pick up. Only storyline that's really been carried out so far is a feud between Orton and Del Rio, but it only lasted three weeks before they ceased to fight again. I did see one cut scene... not sure if it was on '12 because I don't remember it being on there, but the match was supposed to be Cena vs. Ryback (downloaded a Ryback from Community Creations. Don't have the patience to wait for the DLC at the moment!) A cutscene had Punk coming out and attacking Cena, because I reckon he wanted a shot at being meat on the table for Ryback. Pretty cool.

Started an Attitude Era only Universe, but I scrapped it. I'll probably end up resetting this one, too.

Loved reading all the stories on here... I get hooked to reading this kind of stuff from people. Did last year. Same story this year.

Hope to hear more about these "200+" new storylines/cut scenes.

I've seen one cut scene so far. That's it. I am already getting bored just playing through matches with no stories.

This isn't a good sign. Last year, I saw them all the time.

Mines going good Had my 1st Raw last night played some really tough Matches. The Main Even Jerico Defeated Cena with a Code Breaker after the match Brock Lesnar came out. Should be interesting to see what happens next week on Raw. I have Superstars because I have so many Wrestlers on Raw thats my next show.

My First Nitro is coming up on Friday night Can't wait to see what the 1st card looks like.

WWE Monday Night Raw is War Brought to you by "The Den"

**All CPU Booking For Entire first year**

Match 1: Scotty 2 Hotty v. Owen Hart

What may go down as match of the year, saw many near falls. Scotty would hit the worm two times on the former king of the ring to pick up the win.

Results: Scotty 2 Hotty defeats Owen Hart via pinfall

                  Match 2: Epico & Primo v. Kofi & R-Truth

Kofi & R-Truth took on the tag team of Epico & Primo. However, this match was ALL Kofi & R-Truth. Kofi would end the match with a trouble in Paradise on Epico to win the match.

Results: Kofi & R-Truth defeat Epico & Primo via pinfall

Match 3: Triple Threat Match Rikishi v. Goldust v. Grand Master Sexay

Goldust and Grand Master Sexay seemed to team up on Rikishi the entire match but Rikishi would gain a head of steam and take over. Rikishi would hit two banzzai drops on each of the superstars then would stink face Goldust. After Rikishi ducked a clothesline from Goldust that hit Grand Master Sexay, Rikishi then hit a piledriver on Goldust to pick up the pinfall.

Result: Rikishi via pinfall over Goldust

Match 4: Santino Marella v. Jinder Mahal

Cutscene: David Otunga from Smackdown comes out and attacks Santino by throwing him into the steps.

Cutscene #2: David Otunga came out again and attacked Jinder Mahal.

Santino went for the pin but was unsuccessful. Jinder came too and immediately made Santino tap out from the Cobra clutch.

Result: Jinder Mahal defeats Santino via submission

Main Event: Randy Orton v. Daniel Bryan (Ladder Match) WTH!!!!

Randy Orton dominated and I mean absolutely dominated this match even hit an RKO but Daniel Bryan would comeback and put Orton in the NO lock and toss Orton out the ring and capture the briefcase to win the Ladder Match.

Result: Daniel Bryan defeats Randy Orton

The only fued I have going is Kevin Nash and triple h which is the perfect rivalry but the fued or storyline I don't like that well bc Kevin Nash will just cheap shot triple h with a clothesline and it's like triple h just got knocked out by the big show. I want to see more trash talk and a weapon be applied to triple h. The feud hasn't met its first paper view and I hate when I have the same two story lines happening with two different people for example wade Barrett (intercontinental champ) came out on to the stage and stared down Cody Rhodes after he had just defeated Christian. Big show (heavyweight champion) did the exact same thing after randy Orton defeated shaemus. Randy Orton already lost to the big show at extreme rules but he vows to get what he has been missing for a few years at over limit in a match yet to be decided

I haven't had any storylines really happen either.

The only highlight match I've had was between Hunico and Ted DiBiase, and the big story was after the match (DiBiase won) Hunico refused to shake hands.

I did have Sheamus come do commentary for a match between Austin and Jericho, got in Austin's face. Mark Henry attacked CM Punk from the crowd, and del Rio beat down Sheamus with a lead pipe. Jericho did interfere in a match between Rock and CM Punk. And i can't start storylines because for some reason the game won'tont let me run interference. Hopefully some things pick up.

For those that are not getting very many cutscenes, try turning off stories in edit universe and simming a week and turning them back on. I did this, and am getting more cutscenes, I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence or not, but it's worth a try. I still haven't got a branching story yet though.

I have now started watching matches instead of playing them unless i make a match and so far i have two huge feuds going on. One with Mankind vs. the champ HBK and the other is Bret Hart and the Undertaker going at it. At my second PPV as i type with the NAO vs. LOD in a steel cage match for LOD's titles.

I tried turning the universe stories off and then back on again prior to saving universe...getting plenty of cutscenes.

That said I do have fan axxess and both of the feud packs are unlocked.

I've played through the first 4 weeks (I have one final smackdown before the first PPV)...so far feuds going are:

Ted Dibiase and Jinder Mahal...(Dibiase's music kicked in during Mahal's match...Mahal then attacked Dibiase before their match which he won easily thanks to the attack)

Sheamus and Del Rio are going at it too....Del Rio jumped in and attacked both Sheamus & Orton during one match, then stood at the entrance taunting Sheamus, before he jumped in and they clashed with officials seperating them...they then met in a falls count anywhere match which Del Rio won.

On Raw, Otunga is going after Santino.

While HHH and Lesnar have a feud going...Lesner offering HHH the hand of friendship before clotheslining him and subsequently beating him. Then followed match 2, Lesnar hit HHH with a knuckle duster but HHH recovered to record the win. Match 3 happened a week before the PPV, with HHH winning a falls count anywhere match.

Jericho beat Cena in the #1 contenders match to face CM Punk at Extreme Rules, having beaten Punk the week before on Raw.

All seems pretty good so far....I'm watching matchups as cpu v cpu.
                            Cheers
