Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Keep writing man you have good stuff
KJ, I am. I'm using default Raw, Raw is War and Smackdown rosters. So, I have 2 Rocks, Triple H's and Undertakers, and Kanes.
My Universe-
Raw- WWE Champion- Brock Lesnar (defeated Punk at Extreme Rules)
US Champion- Santino Marella -
I simmed his defense at Extreme Rules which was a triple threat match against Miz and David Otunga. Santino somehow won. I need to find a better US champion, not Santino.
Tag Team Champions- Kofi and R Truth- defended against Dolph and Jack Swagger at Extreme Rules and won, Primo and Epico earned a title shot at Over the Limit by beating Ziggler/Swagger.
Feuds-Punk vs. Brock and Punk vs. Kane are building. Cena has hinted at feuding with Jericho, Kane and Brock at different points. Miz and Santino are feuding, Miz aligning with David Otunga. More than likely, I'll have Miz with David as his manager beat Santino at Over the Limit.
Smackdown- World Heavyweight Champ Sheamus- succesfully defended against Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules. Bryan beat Randy Orton the following Smackdown in a number one contender match. Afterwards, Sheamus came out and glared at D-Bry. They'll probably have a rematch at Over the Limit, maybe with Daniel"choosing" the stipulation (submission match?)
Intercontinental Champion- The Miz- Miz is feuding with the US champ, Santino. I think I'll have Miz beat Santino at Over the Limit and merge the US and Intercontinental championship.
Tag- Kofi and Truth (see above)
Feuds- Cody Rhodes and Khali. Cody keeps attacking Khali before and after their singles matches, and winning. Sheamus and Daniel Bryan, see above. Mark Henry attacked Undertaker before they had a match.
King of the Ring- Yes, I have a third show, as I am using the method of getting interactive cutscenes where you need 3 major shows and only play the matches where, when you click match creator, the message that you will erase the storyline by editing the match will show up. It's not working so far, but I'll keep at it.
Brahma Bull champion- Rock [98-99] Steve Austin was the Smoking Skull champion. Rock took on all comers, beating Kane and all three faces of Foley in singles matches leading up to Extreme Rules. The night before Over the Edge[every month, I've set it up so that Raw and Smackdown have a PPV, and King of the Ring (all attitude era stars) has an attitude era PPV. The attitude era PPV is on the first sunday of the month while the modern era PPV's are on the last Sunday of the month.] Steve Austin, then champion, defeated Kane after taking some punishment as well as giving it. After the match, Kane slapped away Austin's hand when Stone Cold extended a handshake as Austin celebrated his victory. That may have distracted Stone Cold the next night on Over the Edge when he defended his title against the most hated man on King of the Ring, the Rock in the extreme I Quit match.
The two have had several classic 'Mania matches and the fans were not let down that night. Rock hit Austin with everything but the kitchen sink, using a mop, kendo stick, chair, guitar, and even the-then champ's title as weapons. The Rock Rock-Bottomed Austin through the announce table, speared him through the steel barricade and suplexed him through a ladder. The Rock DDT'ed Austin through a table. Stone Cold could not have been more valiant. He kicked out of 5, count 'em, 5 Rock Bottoms, multiple People's Elbows, and all of the punishment listed above. Austin's face was a crimson mask, but he kept fighting. We almost had a repeat of Wrestlemania 13. Austin was in the sharpshooter being applied by the Rock, and was bleeding like a stuffed pig. Austin nearly passed out but willed his way on to fight. Austin hit Rock with the Smoking Skull belt, hit Rock with 4 stunners, and gave the People's Champ several middle fingers to add insult to injury. By the end of the match, both men were covered in blood, and a Rock Bottom sealed Austin's defeat. As soon as the match was over, Rock pulled out a garbage can from under the ring, threw the Smoking Skull belt in, and raised the Brahama Bull championship high as the show ended. The Rock, after more than a five star match, possibly the greatest match of [that Universe's] time, is the champion.
