I'm messing around with this truly superb game until Dec. 1, when I move to a new place and will get a new Xbox and essentially start over with it, so I'm kind of tooling around for the rest of November. This thread is great in terms of figuring out how I'll want to do the real thing.

It seems as if the solution to a lack of cut scenes is to turn it off then on, and this can be done before you start it?

Also, if a feud/storyline is started with these cutscenes, can I still match them up on my own to continue it? For instance, if Punk and Cena start a feud via cut scene in the first week, will the CPU automatically set them up in matches for every week leading up to the PPV? Can I switch it up in Week 3 and have Cena face Orton and Punk face Del Rio and the feud will still continue until resolved at PPV? Or do I have to let feuds kind of run their course via CPU booking?

This game really seems excellent (after I took the year off from WWE 12) and I've only played about 8 Attitude Era matches to this point.

I've let the computer handle all of the booking, regardless of how CRAZY some of it is (hey, y'know, it's a video game, and the bizarre/gonzo things that are happening adds to the fun experience; might as well sit back and enjoy it!), and I've done every single match two weeks in a row for both RAW and Smackdown!

Cena is a heel, and he's been aligning himself with the WWE champion, the Miz (who cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Chris Jericho at SummerSlam). Since taking the title away from Jericho, Y2J has seemingly disappeared from the surface, and Miz & Cena have been running Raw. Recently, they were in a tag match together against Kofi Kingston and R-Truth. After MiZena (ha) beat Kofi/Truth, they attacked their opponents with steel chairs together. Looked like a new cut scene, as I don't remember it from '12, but then again it might have been in.

Punk is also a heel, and he's been feuding with Kane. Before one match, while the referee wasn't looking, he clad his fist with a pair of brass knucks and punched Kane right in the face. Also looked like a new cut scene, as I don't remember it from '12.

I might eventually try the turn off stories/turn them back on save/save again trick! Thanks to DanH35 for pointing that out!

Having an awesome time currently! Can't say I'm a huge fan of the WILD booking, but screw it, if it causes some awesome storylines and feuds to occur, I'm all down for it instead of vanilla nothings!

EDIT: Wade Barrett and Randy Orton have also been feuding. They were supposed to have a match, two weeks in a row. The first week, Barrett came out, pointed towards the backstage and waved for somebody to emerge. The Big Show did (was definitely a scene from '12 as well). Orton won. The next week, Barrett came out holding his shoulder, seemingly injured, and Alberto Del Rio was his replacement. Don't really remember that from '12. Third week, they finally faced off, but during the match Barrett walked out and DQ'ed himself by count out. The two will face for the world title at Survivor Series.

I tried turning the universe stories off and then back on again prior to saving universe...getting plenty of cutscenes.

That said I do have fan axxess and both of the feud packs are unlocked.

I've played through the first 4 weeks (I have one final smackdown before the first PPV)...so far feuds going are:

Ted Dibiase and Jinder Mahal...(Dibiase's music kicked in during Mahal's match...Mahal then attacked Dibiase before their match which he won easily thanks to the attack)

Sheamus and Del Rio are going at it too....Del Rio jumped in and attacked both Sheamus & Orton during one match, then stood at the entrance taunting Sheamus, before he jumped in and they clashed with officials seperating them...they then met in a falls count anywhere match which Del Rio won.

On Raw, Otunga is going after Santino.

While HHH and Lesnar have a feud going...Lesner offering HHH the hand of friendship before clotheslining him and subsequently beating him. Then followed match 2, Lesnar hit HHH with a knuckle duster but HHH recovered to record the win. Match 3 happened a week before the PPV, with HHH winning a falls count anywhere match.

Jericho beat Cena in the #1 contenders match to face CM Punk at Extreme Rules, having beaten Punk the week before on Raw.

All seems pretty good so far....I'm watching matchups as cpu v cpu.

RAW is War - Week 3

Match 1 - Eddie Guerrero defeats British Bulldog after a series of roll ups and counters.

Match 2 - I booked Mankind vs Paul Wight in a match, but they broke into a backstage brawl before the match, which Mankind won.

Match 3 - Ken Shamrock defeated Bret Hart.

Match 4 - After Undertaker took Kane out last week in what was supposed to be a match between Kane & HBK, Kane challenges Undertaker to a match. But, soon after the match starts, HBK comes out and hits Undertaker with Sweet Chin Music, giving Kane the victory.

Match 5 - The Rock defeats Triple H (w/ Stephanie McMahon) after Triple H gets fed up with how the match is going and leaves the ring and goes up the ramp, to get counted out.

Smackdown! - Week 3

Match 1 - The Godfather defeats Val Venis

Match 2 - Stephanie McMahon (w/ Triple H) defeats Trish Stratus.

Match 3 - Road Warriors defeat New Age Outlaws

Match 4 - In a prelude to the tag title match in 1 week at Unforgiven, Christian (w/ Edge) beat Bradshaw (w/ Faarooq)

Match 5 - In a rematch of last week's Smackdown!, Rikishi defeats Vader, after spearing Vader through the barricade, and getting him counted out.

RAW is WAR - Week 4

Match 1 - Mankind defeats Big Boss Man

Match 2 - Chris Jericho defeated Kane

Match 3 - Lita defeats Stephanie McMahon to become the #1 Contender for Trish's Women's title at Unforgiven.

Match 4 - Bret Hart defeats Shawn Michaels after Undertaker runs in and chokeslams Michaels. These two are setting up for a huge match at Unforgiven.

Match 5 - In a clash of former partners, Billy Gunn defeats Triple H, after Stone Cold interferes on Gunn's behalf.

Smackdown! - Week 4

Match 1 - Chris Jericho defeats Val Venis in what was a #1 Contender's match for Ken Shamrock's Intercontinental title.

Match 2 - Paul Wight defeats Mark Henry

Match 3 - British Bulldog defeats Gangrel

Match 4 - Billy Gunn continues his winning ways (in singles matches) by defeated Edge.

Match 5 - Triple H & Shawn Michaels are partnered up to face Stone Cold & Undertaker in a tag team match. HHH & HBK win the match after 20 minutes, and after the match, they assault their Unforgiven opponents with chairs, leaving them laid out in the ring.

Match Card

Match 1 - Lita vs Trish Stratus for Women's Title

Match 2 - British Bulldog vs X-Pac for European Title

Match 3 - APA vs Edge & Christian for Tag Team Titles

The big reason I made Smackdown! a minor show is because if I made it a major show, you can't assign the same roster as your Monday show. I wanted to set it up so that both shows used the same roster, and the game would make matches using the same set of wrestlers. Plus, it makes it a little easier to work without a brand split, as Smackdown! doesn't have titles.

Just a personal preference.

While I'm posting - I want to mention a match I just watched on my 2nd week of RAW is War

I saw 2 things happen that I've never seen in a WWE game.

I had a match scheduled between Kane & Shawn Michaels. During Kane's entrance, Undertaker attacked him and would replace him in the match.

HBK & Undertaker put on a CLASSIC. The best match I've ever watched in a video game. The craziest moment happened when Undertaker propped HBK on the turnbuckle for a superplex, but HBK countered by kicking him down. When Undertaker stood up, HBK went for a crossbody from the top rope, but Undertaker caught him and hit a tombstone piledriver. No lie, I said, out loud, "OH ****!" when it happened. Miraculously, HBK kicked out at 2, and the two wrestlers battled for at least another 10 minutes. HBK locked in a sharpshooter, but Undertaker broke it, and went for a chokeslam on HBK, who countered into a quick Sweet Chin Music to pick up the W. (as I've said, I LOVE the ability to choose if you want a Normal match, Quick match, or Epic match.)

Absolute, hands down, ***** star match. Incredible. Can't be happier that the game took over and had Undertaker take out Kane. I can already see possibilities for a feud, too! But, no spoilers..just wait until the next Raw

Started the PPV, but only ended up getting 4 matches in, then I hit a bit of a snag, when I realized I was one match short in my planning..so, let me mull it over..

Honestly, the match I'll end up having will probably be one that should have been the opening match, but I really didn't realize I needed 7 matches for the PPV. Oops.

My first match on SmackDown was hilarious lol. JBL vs Heath Slater in a squash match, JBL was about to put Slater away with the Clothesline from Hell, and he MISSED! But sure enough, he hit it like 5 seconds later lol, match was only like 1 minute.

RAW Week 1:

Match 1: Stone Cold vs Dude Love:
Dude Love beats the Texas Rattlesnake for the surprise W!

Match 2: The Luchadors-- Rey & Sin Cara vs Primo & Epico
The 1st Match in the Tag team tournament was a high flying delight as The Luchadors came away with the victory.

Match 3: Kelly Kelly vs Stephanie McMahon vs Eve
Triple Threat Match for a chance to move closer to Beth Oheonix and her Divas Championship. Just like the Tag Titles both shows Raw & Smackdown are fighting for the titles.

Match 4: Alberto Del Rio vs HBK Ladder Match
Shawn michaels knows a thing or two about these types of matches which helps him move another step towards that coveted WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Main Event: Bret Hart vs Undertaker Steel Cage
The Deadman becomes the #1 Contender with a huge win but the rankings have Dude Love & HBK right behind him, who will win the race to face CM PUNK at EXTREME RULES:

Match 1: Sin Cara & Zack Ryder vs The Miz & David Otunga
The top four contenders for the Vacant United States Title... The Miz & Otunga win meaning these 2 will square off at Extreme Rules for the United Tates Title cant wait to see the build up to the PPV between these two

Match 2: Kharma vs Eve
Kharma hungry for the Title takes Eves place in the running with a dominant performance

Match 3: Undertaker vs Dude Love
These 2 are the top 2 to compete for Punks Title this is 1 of 3 matches between these 2 leading up to the PPV. Whoever wins 2 of 3 gets the shot, Takers on the right path with a huge early win

Match 4: JBL vs HHH
JBL trying to make that comeback, but HHH was hungry to prove hes still got it as well and comes up with a big W

Main Event: Faarooq vs Kevin Nash
Faarooq trying to make a run as a singles star makes a huge statement in a hardfought match getting the win ove Nash who proved he still has it

The 2nd match in the Tag Title Tournament ends in a smashing by the new formed Nation

Match 4: Brock Lesnar vs Cactus Jack
Lesnar continues his winning ways kver the awlays dangerous Cactus Jack
