Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
JUDGMENT DAY
RESULTS
Legacy def New Age Outlaws to become the NEW WWE Tag Team Champions.
Kevin Nash def Big Show
Wade Barrett def Randy Orton, RVD, and Christian in an Extreme Rules Match to become the first Hardcore Champion.
Brock Lesnar def Hunico to become the NEW Intercontinental Champion.
Bret Hart def Booker T by countout to retain the WWE Championship.
Triple H def Stone Cold by countout.
Sheamus def JBL in a Last Man Standing match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
This card had the potential to be better than Backlash. The night started off great with New Tag Team, Intercontinental, and Hardcore Champions. Also Nash and Show put on the Match of the Night. The last 3 matches were crap. 2 countouts and a short Last Man Standing. The last 3 matches ruined the event.
Lesnar is one great story though, starting off the year 0-5, and now he is 5-5 and the Intercontinental Champion.Comment

Big Bossman defeated Tomko which the game ruled as an upset.
Bobby Roode made his debut.
British Bulldog defeated Ken Shamrock in a Falls Count Anywhere match to retain the United States Championship.
Booker T defeated Kurt Angle to become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship.
Raw ended with Triple H, Batista, and Ric Flair celebrating after Batista and Flair's victory. Evolution.
SMACKDOWN
The Hardy Boyz made their debut.
Sheamus and Cena defeated The Rock and Kane in the main event. After the match, the new Tag Team Champions, Legacy, came out and laid out Sheamus and Cena. This is interesting. Legacy went after Super Cena and Sheamus right away.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
I use the old Raw (2006 set) and SmackDown (the set with the fist) sets. I changed it up a little. I am hosting Raw and SmackDown outdoors for the time being. I changed the SmackDown set to the original set though. Hosting it outdoors feels cool.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
If you wanted the later matches of Judgement Day to be better, CJ, I would've had them be No-DQ, no holds barred - to prevent any downers to the match like a DQ or count-out. That's how I have almost all of my matches so that they don't end in a boring or stupid way that might happen.
Anyway, I'm gonna finish the Heat show and then it's Over the Limit. I've gotten some storyline ideas for after OTL and into No Way Out while I've been away from the game so it'll get interesting from here on out.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Over the Limit 2013
Here's the card:
Intercontinental Championship / Extreme Rules
Kevin Steen def. Mankind (c): Kill Steen Kill, and that he did. This was an vicious altercation that saw Mr. Wrestling capture his first piece of gold since leaving the ROH World Title behind. He finished off the bizzare face of Foley with a brutal Package Piledriver on the outside. It's my idea it won't be the last we see of Mankind, but for now Steen is the holder of the IC Title.
WWE Tag Team Championship / Extreme Rules
World's Greatest Tag Team (Haas & Benjamin) (c) def. The Colons: It was exciting to see the high-flying combo of Primo and Epico challenge the technical-style of the collegiate stars Haas & Benjamin. The Colons were looking to exhibit their luchador-like ability early on, flying over the top rope into the champions like crazy. The match went back into the ring after spilling to the outside, and Charlie Haas hit Total Haastility plus the Haas of Pain on Primo. Haas eventually clotheslined the beaten-down Primo while Shelton kept Epico at bay and Haas got the 3 count to retain the titles.
*had to re-match this on RAW after an accidental save of the match which I didn't want to happen..*
The Shield (Ambrose, Reigns, Rollins) def. Sheamus, Ryback, and The Miz / Elimination Chamber Tornado Tag: Sheamus and Reigns began this tag battle inside the linked steel structure. The Miz was second then Ryback third, giving their team a short two-man advantage. Dean Ambrose was next in to even the odds a bit. He dominated Miz on the outside as Ryback observed both inside and outside the ring - Sheamus and Reigns remained inside. The action went back in as all 6 competitors fought it out. Some finishers, lots of near-falls, and brawling later, it was finally that Sheamus was the first elimination - Rollins pinned the Great White after a Midnight Special from Ambrose. Less than a minute later, Reigns pinned Miz and sent him packing. The numbers game caught up to Ryback and the Shield worked him over like a pack of wolves, as they do. Ryback felt the wrath of this renegade group - in the form of being busted open, being sent into corners, to the outside, into the steel, and into the chambers, before a Shiranui from Rollins ended his hopes of avenging their prior attacks on him and his team.
The Shield have knocked off their top target - who's next on their hit list?
Hunter Hearst Helmsley def. Jack Swagger: Helmsley is an impressive young rookie who made his way through nXt and was rewarded a match tonight to show off his skills. Jack Swagger was the first willing to offer a WWE welcome to the youngster. And for that, Helmsley disposed of him quickly. After some back and forth, a piledriver by Hunter busted open the All-American, then he delivered both his signature Spinebuster and then a facebuster he calls the Pedigree for the victory in his debut match.
When the bout was over, Damien Sandow made his way down the ramp and into the ring, congratulating the fellow rookie and intellectual. It would seem the Savior of the Masses has taken a liking to the kid, and one has to wonder how his tag partner Cody Rhodes feels.
WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match / Ironman Extreme Rules
The Best in the World that Ever Lived (Jericho and Aries) def. Evolution (HHH and Batista): As if this feud wasn't heated enough, the Raw/SD GM upped the ante with an extra stipulation - the winners get a shot at the tag team champions. It would be fitting for Jericho and Aries to get their proper chance at some championships after Evolution ruined that for them last time. 20 minutes and weapons abound was suitable enough for these two teams, and the side that had the most falls would get the win. About 8 minutes in and there was only a Codebreaker as well as some fighting on the outside, no pins. Then, a few minutes later, The Game connected with a Pedigree onto a crutch scored the first pinfall for Evolution. Next, a second Codebreaker to HHH tied things up. With only 6 minutes to go, Batista was bloodied and things were looking bleak for him and Triple H. Aries finally covered Batista after hitting him with a series of moves to get the 1-point lead. Batista got revenge with a Batista Bomb to Aries and it's 2-2. The Greatest Man that Ever Lived vs The Animal was going on inside while Y2J and HHH dueled with all sorts of weapons on the outside. As Austin Aries kicked out of a Batista pin, The Game simultaneously landed a Pedigree on Jericho to take the lead with about a minute left. Triple H became the fourth man bloodied in the battle after yet another Codebreaker which made it 3-3, until Aries took down Batista again for a 4-3 score. As the clock ran down, Evolution couldn't do anything to stop Aries and Jericho's assault - Jericho hit a Lionsault for the last pinfall while Aries had locked in HHH in Cattle Mutilation. The Best in the World that Ever Lived are your new #1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championship, and wow, what a way for it to have happened.
World Heavyweight Championship / Triple Threat TLC
Randy Orton (c) vs Big Show vs Undertaker: Randy Orton's reign as World Champion just began last month and he's been victorious over his two opponents in several non-title matchups recently. The Legend Killer will be challenged once more as both Taker and Show had a case for a rematch. The second generation Orton has said he's prepared to continue his legacy by beating both veterans for the second time.
This wasn't too special a match considering the type it was, but once again Orton was able to pull of the win to retain the title. Who will be his next challenger?
WWE Championship / I Quit Match
C.M. Punk (c) def. Stone Cold Steve Austin: After their draw at Extreme Rules, a decision was made to make this a kind of match that must have a winner, no questions asked. What better way to decide a winner than when the loser is forced to quit..
The WWE Champion made his entrance proudly wearing a new title around his waist to replace the spinner belt:
The two went right to work on each other, both trading shots. Punk did the early damage with a springboard clothesline and a back suplex off the top turnbuckle. The champ dropped Stone Cold down with a scoop slam and then a leg drop before asking the ref to question Austin - he said no, unsurprisingly. Stone Cold hit his signature elbow drop and then a Stunner but Punk wouldn't give in. Later on, Punk hit a swift series of maneuvers on Austin but was bloodied after, then he managed to lock in the Anaconda Vice, which would not force Stone Cold to quit. An overcastle, two springboard elbows, and finally a tornado DDT from the corner were connected by the WWE Champ, but Austin was resilient. Austin gained the crimson mask and after multiple moves (including throwing Punk into steel steps) he continuously told the ref to ask if the champ was done. The blood was splattered all around the ring but even after each man pulled out their signature moves, both refused to give in. Even a Go to Sleep late in the game wasn't enough. The epic conclusion to this seemingly never-ending battle came when Punk caught an airborne Stone Cold and propped him up into a Go To Sleep. Austin could go no longer and C.M. Punk retained his WWE Championship. Wow, that might be a Match of the Year candidate, already.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
The RAW and Smackdown GM announced that there will be several more matches coming soon:
U.S. Championship
Drew McIntyre vs Antonio Cesaro (c)
Best-of-7 for the Smackdown MITB Briefcase
John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler (c)
And the debuts and returns of new and debuting Superstars..Last edited by philliesfan136; 04-21-2017, 12:11 PM.Comment
Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
I am starting my universe with a custom promotion, the SWA. Jushin Liger is going to be my World Champion, AJ Styles will be United States Champion, and the Road Warriors will be the Tag Team Champions. I want to mix some of today's WWE stars and independent wrestling stars with yesterdays stars with a flavor of japanese and lucha libre. I have written out my feuds to use unless cutscenes change my plans. This will be a very fun universe.Comment
Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Finally have had time tonight to work on getting my Universe going. WHile I'm setting it up I have a question. I am running rosters 21 deep. I will be running 6 shows and 4 PPV's a month. The list looks like this;
Mon - Nitro
Tues - ECW Extreme
Wed - NXT
Thurs - TNA Impact
Fri - Smackdown
Sat - Superstars
I want to run ideally NXT and Superstars as minors and the rest as majors. If running the other 4 as majors, can I have them all on the same PPV? I plan on sharing the World title and Tag titles among everyone. Thanks guys. Not really sure if I will write anything cause unfortunately. My brain isn't as creative as all of your's.
PS - I am d/ling arenas for all PPV's. Will I get a freeze issue by doing this?PSN Name - xboxxerx
