Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

I'm back after a LONG layoff.

I'm not still doing the Attitude Era "Universe" I was doing back in October and November.

I started this one on the day I downloaded the latest superstar pack, with Sandow, Cesaro, the Usos, etc.

I set it up, using the current WWE landscape as my base, but I'm giving everything my own sort of "twist". I simulate the weekly shows (after setting up the matches myself), and then I watch/play the PPVs.

I just finished up Survivor Series, and here is where everything stands after the PPV.

WWE Champion - CM Punk (357 days and counting)

World Heavyweight Champion - Sheamus (won from Big Show at Hell in a Cell)

Intercontinental Champion - Wade Barrett (won from The Miz at Hell in a Cell, after losing it to Miz at Night of Champions)

United States Champion - Antonio Cesaro (won from Kofi Kingston, after losing it to Kingston at Money in the Bank)

Unified Tag Champions - The Usos (won from Team Hell No at Hell in a Cell)

Divas Champion - Alicia Fox (won from Eve at Over the Limit)

Mr. Money in the Bank - Dolph Ziggler

The only CAWs currently in use are Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, & Roman Reigns. I use them to randomly assault guys like Ryback, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder, John Cena, etc. backstage, 3 on 1, which is how they have formed a rivalry with Ryback.

I have the Dolph Ziggler/John Cena rivalry in my Universe, and they've fought a great match at each of the last few PPVs.

I have some plans for Royal Rumble, like bringing some guys back (Jericho, maybe Lesnar, Undertaker)

      Cincinnati Reds

I use story creator for the talking cutscenes to create a more produced show. I still get the Universe cutscenes, but I like to flesh out the show a bit. Otherwise, it would just be match after match after match.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

As you know, I usually post my Universe videos on here. But I decided to focus on just TNA iMPACT at the moment since it's my favorite brand and it holds my personal CAWs. Making videos for RAW and SMACKDOWN seems like overkill and I don't have time for that anyway. So while I'll still discuss my Universe here, you'll only see videos for iMPACT and TNA XPlosion [the brand's minor show].

I plan on doing my own draft between RAW, SMACKDOWN, and iMPACT every 4 months [2 Divas from each brand, plus 8 wrestlers from each brand] to change things up for each brand. That's the current goal.

Anyway, here are the results for Week 4 of SMACKDOWN:

              1. Wade Barrett def. Zack Ryder
              2. Cody Rhodes def. Santino with the help of United States Champion Jack Swagger.
              3. Alicia Fox and Kaitlyn def. Women's Champion Eve and Tamina. Fox [#1 Contender] pinned Eve.
              4. Too Cool def. WWE Tag Team Champions New Age Outlaws. Grandmaster Sexay pinned Road Dogg.
              5. The Miz def. Dolph Ziggler in a 20-minute Iron Man Match with a score of 13-8.

Should be a video for TNA XPlosion up this weekend.

                Hope you guys enjoy

This will be my WCW universe. It will primarily focus on the Monday night wars era. However, there will be plenty of fictional changes to the timeline and wrestlers. For example, it wont be unusual to see a Heath Slater having a match on Thunder. Ill also have signing announcements. If a big time free agent signs with WWE ill report it, if he signs with WCW ill report that aswell. I will not be doing a WWE program although I will be referencing the company whenever it fits into the storylines. Hope you enjoy my inaugural show- ScotchAndEggs

                WCW MONDAY NIGHT NITRO
                Philidelphia, PA

“Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Monday Night Nitro! Tonight we promise to bring you a huge show! As reported last Monday night via telephone, the owner of the company Mr. Turner is here and has a special announcement! Also in the main event the United States champion Mr. Perfect will have a non title match against the worlds largest athlete Paul Wight. If that’s not enough to keep you glued the tag team number one contenders match is going down between the Steiner Brothers and Demolition! We’ll be back after the break!”Mike Tenay

La Parka v. Psicosis (*** match)

This was a solid back n forth match in the cruiserweight division. Both wrestlers displaying elite high flying maneuvers. The match ended when La Parka reversed the Senton Psicosis and nailed the Skull Bomb for the 1-2-3. This win will guarantee La Parka a shot at Chris Jerichos Television Title on this weeks Thunder.

                -Commercial-

Shane Douglas is standing in the ring as Nitro returns. With the Cruiserweight title draped over his shoulder he obnoxiously tells the audience how hes The Franchise of this company and how he will humiliate DDP at Spring Stampede. He challenges anyone in the locker room to come out and become famous in a tune up match.

                -Bill Golberg music plays-

Shane Douglas v. Bill Goldberg (non title match) (* star match)

Despite The Franchises illegal blows and referee manipulation the up and comer Goldberg was able to turn the tide and land a spear within 5 minutes. Before Goldberg could hit the Jackhammer Shane Douglas rolled out of the ring and started walking backwards to the lockeroom. DDP was waiting on the ramp and so was a Diamond Cutter. Bill Golberg wins via count out and moves his winning streak to 57-0

                -Commercial-

Public Enemy v. Impact Players (*** match)

This was a competitive tag match which saw both teams receiving praise from the crowd. Public Enemy being from Philly and the Impact Players being from ECW whos home stay is in Philly made for an intriguing fan reaction. The Match ended in DQ when Justin Credible blasted Grunge with a kendo stick and Rocco put Lance Storm through a table almost simultaneously. They would continue to brawl through the arena as the show went to commercial

                -Commercial-

The Steiner Brothers v. Demolition #1 contender match (*** match)

The Outsiders Hall & Nash came out and sat at the announce table. Although the commentary was colorful and entertaining it did little to take away from what was a good bout between two hungry tag teams. The majority of the match saw Demolition wearing down Scott Steiner. After ten minutes of Ax and Smash taking turns laying the smack down on Scott, Scott was finally able to tag in a foaming at the mouth Rick Steiner. Rick Steiner took it to both Ax and Smash, throwing Smash out of the ring. After a Steinerizer the Steiners got the win via pin. After the match Hall, Nash, Bagwell and Norton came to the ring and jumped the Steiner brothers. After spraying NWO on both brothers while they laid unconscious it was clear a statement was being made.

“WHAT BRUTALITY! It is clear the NWO doesn’t respect anybody. How with the Steiners even be able to compete at Spring Stampede?! What a vicious assault…”-Mike Tenay

                -Commercial-

Mr. Perfect w/ Rick Rude v. Paul Wight non title match (**match)

Mr. Perfect tried to come at Paul Wight every way but head on. For most of the match Paul Wight (who will face Rick rude at Spring Stampede) stalked down his opponent. Unleashing headbutts, chops and body slams. He was setting up a chokeslam when Rude grabbed his leg. Mr. Perfect took advantage of a distracted Paul Wight and through a shoulder block at his leg. After a drop kick from the top rope it looked like Mr. Perfect almost had The Giant on the ground. Mr. Perfect prematurely went for a Perfectplex but it was shrugged off and turned into a chokeslam. Before The Giant could get the pin Rick Rude was attacking his back with a chair. This resulted in the ref calling for the bell and awarding The Giant the victory via DQ. After a minute of the Giant trying to fend off the wolves Mr. Perfect and Rick Rude seemed to take the upperhand. Macho Man (Mr. Perfects Spring Stampede opponent) rushed to The Giants aide and Mr. Perfect and Rick Rude booked it through the crowd

“What cowardly actions by our US Champion and Rude. They can run but they cant hide as they both have to face the giant and the Macho man at Spring Stampede! Well folks, it’s what we all have been waiting for. After the break the owner himself, Mr. Ted Turner will make his announcement. Keep it here! Where the Big boys play!”- Mike Tenay

                -Commerial-

Upon the shows return, Ted Turner and Mean Gene Okerlund stand in the ring

“Hello Philidelphia, and hello to everyone watching us at home live on TNTs Monday Nitro. For 84 weeks this show was the most watched wrestling show on network TV. For two months now, that hasn’t been the case. This is a problem that doesn’t bode well with me. I didn’t get to where im at today by losing to the competition. Eric Bischoff, once again you are not here overseeing tonights events. Instead you are on some movie set with one of your employees. This is the fraternizing and neglect you have been displaying for six months now. To your credit, you were a contributing factor to this shows success for 84 weeks. That’s why I will not be relinquishing you of your duties. However, your actions have left me no choice but to create a new position. General Manager. Admittedly I know little about wrestling. So I spent the last few weeks extensively interviewing candidates with the help of my board of trustees. Its at this time I would like my new General Manager to please come on out”- Ted Turner

No Chance in Hell starts playing through the Philly arena. Out comes SHANE MCMAHON! Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring accompanied by the WWEs APA and Big Bossman

“Well well well, who would’ve thunk it? Shane O Mac, the heir to the Hartford throne…standing in the middle of a ring on WCWs flagship show Nitro. When Turner first offered me the job I was hesitant. I mean, who boards a sinking ship? Even though I was only a phone call away from declining Mr. Turners offer I still watched last weeks Nitro. My initial intent was to check out the WCWs talent pool, however, that quickly changed when I saw Eric Bischoff parading around on national TV in an NWO shirt. What kind of Vice President participates in vignettes with his employees? So I had a change of heart. And let me make it clear, im never half way in on anything. I plan to see this out to the very end. To assure the WCW fans a better product, my first order of business will be shedding the fat. The locker room is full of disgruntled talent getting no push. How do I know? Because many of them have sought employment with my father. Not only will I be saving the current roster, but I will aggressively pursue all the top free agents. Its my guarantee to all the superstars and to all the future superstars, if you earn a shot at the title you will GET a shot at title. Which brings me to my next order of business. Hulk Hogan (crowd boos). Hulkster, there was a time when you were the most revered superstar in the business. A heroic champion, a role model. Sadly, these days youre less focused on being the face of the company and more focused on being the face of a straight to dvd snoozer. That’s why tonight I will exercise my power as General Manager. This Thursday on Thunder we will have a 10 man battle royal. The winner will get a shot at your title next week on NITRO!! (crowd cheers) if you fail to acknowledge your mandatory title defense, you will leave me no choice but to vacate the title and hold a tournament that will conclude at Spring Stampede. The choice is yours Hulkster. Thank you everybody, its time to usher in a new era. Goodnight”- Shane McMahon

Match 5: Royal Rumble #2 won by Roman Reigns

The final 2 men were Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The 2 superstars realize one would have to be eliminated but both have stated no harm was done in their relationship and to The Shield

                      WCW THUNDER
                      Cincinnati, OH

“Hello everybody and welcome to WCW Thunder! Incase you missed it, this Mondays Nitro had a blockbuster announcement. Shane McMahon…yes you heard that right, Shane McMahon was announced as WCWs new General Manager! Tonight we will hear from Eric Bischoff. Will Hogan defend his title against the winner of tonights battle royal? Or will we be crowning a new champion at the end of a huge tournament at Spring Stampede?? Hopefully all these questions will be answered tonight! Stay tuned, Juventud Guerrera v. Disco Inferno is after the break!”-Mark Madden

                      -commercial-

Juventud Guerrera v. Disco Inferno (***match)

The match started off with a satirical dance off. Discos Electric Boogaloo was answered with a Juvi drop kick. After a few minutes of nice technical wrestling by both, Disco got the upperhand. Discos charisma would be his downfall. While pandering to several Cincinnati Bengal fans in the front row Juvi was able to capitalize and nail a Juvi driver for the 1-2-3

                      -commercial-

Meng w/Kevin Sullivan v. Heath Slater (*** match)

Hot prospect Heath Slater was overmatched from the start. Power move after power move was delivered by Meng. Slater attempted a small rally mid way through the match to no avail. One Tongan Death Grip later and Slater laid looking up at the stars after a 1-2-3

”Meng… what a monster! Dungeon of Doom continues to be a factor here at WCW! This just in, ladies and gentlemen we just got word that Shane McMahon has signed ECW Heavyweight champion Mike Awesome! Incredible! Shane promised to usher in a new era and so far he has been delivering! Keep it here folks we still have a ten man battle royal to determine the number one contender for Hogans title on next Mondays Nitro!- Mark Madden

Chris Jericho v. La Parka for the TV title 15 Minute time limit (***match)

Jericho elects to start the match with his belt on. Both men decided to skip past the feeling out process. After kicking out of a one foot pin La Parka started to take over. There was plenty of rope bouncing and turnbuckle jumping. Jericho missed a Lionsault. La Parka went for a La Parkinator but Jericho reversed it into a Liontamer. At the 14:16 mark La Parka was forced to tap only inches away from a rope break.

                      -commercial-

NWOs music hits. Eric Bischoff walks to the ring

”Cut the music.. Cut the damn music! Last Monday, Mr. Turner made an ill advised decision. A decision that speaks volumes on his lack of knowledge of the wrestling business. Shane McMahon is a trust fund baby from hell! You may not like the NWO, but theres absolutely no honor when it comes to a McMahon. And ill be damned if im going to let some snot nosed punk taint the empire I helped build! As for your little battle royal tonight…. None of it matters. In Hogans contract there is a non compete clause. The movie role was given to Hogan specifically because hes the world heavyweight champion. With production almost over, there’s “no chance in hell” the producers would allow Hogan to fight without a fight in the courtroom first. Sorry about your luck Shane… Why don’t you go back to Hartford where transsexuals painted in gold and glorified stuntman with socks on their hand is acceptable.- Eric Bischoff

Vicious and Delicious v. Chavo Guerrero & Billy Kidman(****match)

The NWO gatekeepers controlled the match from the start. It seemed as if everything Chavo and Kidman attempted was thwarted by pure strength. Towards the middle of the match Kidman made it a fight when Buff got caught flexing to the cameras. While the refs back was turned Rick Steiner pulled down Norton who was looking for a tag. The two started brawling which left Buff in the ring to fend for himself. When Buff blindly reached for the tag he was met with nothing but air. Kidman capitalized on this and rolled Buff into a pin for a quick 1-2-3 and a HUGE upset!!

”WOW! What an upset! One can only think the Steiners got involved to even the score for that assault last Monday night! If youre just tuning in, we heard from Vice President Eric Bischoff earlier. Unfortunately tonights battle royal has zero World Title ramifications…..-Mark Madden

Mark Madden is interrupted by Shane McMahon who appears on the Jumbo Tron

”Earlier tonight Bitchoff involved lawyers to prevent a title fight. Another example of Bitchoff playing favorites. Another example of Bitchoff protecting his chosen few. Is it really where the big boys play? Or is it where the big boys play with eachother? I anticipated Bitchoff would try to scate out the back door. So, to make it 100% official that Hogan would have to defend or forfeit his title next Monday on Nitro I made a few phone calls. Bitchoff, I offered Hogans movie producers my studios in Hartford free of charge. I also paid them half of Hogans contract back. Mainly because wow that guy sucks at acting. Looks like this trust fund baby from hell just made you look new. See you Monday Hogan!”- Shane McMahon

Ten Man Battle Royal for a World title shot on Nitro

                      Muta eliminated first by DDP
Ultimo Dragon eliminated second by Shane Douglas
Vampiro eliminated third by Jake the Snake
Jake the Snake eliminated fourth by Shane Douglas
                      Kanyon eliminated fifth by DDP
                      Konnan eliminated sixth by DDP
Jushin Liger elliminasted 7th by Voz Inglesa

With DDP and Shane Douglas eliminating most of the competiton. It was down to them and the debuting luchador Voz Inglesa. Douglas and DDP (who will meet at Spring Stampede for the Cruiserweight title) wasted no time and immediately honed in on eachother. They eventually locked up in a stalemate that had them leaning on the ropes. The forgotten luchador saw the opening and capitalized by clotheslining both DDP and Douglas out of the ring! Voz Inglesa has won the title shot! Mid celebration, as the show was going off the air, Voz Inglesa takes off his mask revealing himself as The Brithish Bulldog Davey Boy Smith!

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

OTL looms, and the fights continue on Friday Night Smackdown!

Drew McIntyre def. Sin Cara, 1st match of Best-of-3 for US title shot: The 3MB's "Chosen One" was on his own in this one, but in a good match pulled out the Future Shock DDT to defeat the masked luchador. He took a 1-0 lead in this best-of-3 and is one step closer towards meeting Antonio Cesaro for the U.S. Championship.

The Colons def. 3MB (Slater/Mahal), WWE Tag Title #1C Tourney: The 3MB came into this matchup looking to continue the group's momentum after member Drew McIntyre picked up a win earlier. They were unable to do it, falling to the more cohesive unit of the Colon cousins, who once again impressed with their high-flying ability. This was quite a fun, hardcore-style, elimination tag battle.

Sheamus def. Edge, 2/3 Falls, WHC #1C Tourney: The Great White took both falls of this brutal fight, finishing Edge off with a vicious White Noise on to a ladder.

The Rock def. Daniel Bryan, 2/3 Falls, WHC #1C Tourney: In this long-awaited dream match, Rocky and DBry pummeled each other until there was only one winner. The Rock picked up the first fall before falling victim to the NO Lock. He got the decisive pin after laying out Bryan with a float-over DDT - this coming after Rock DDTed the former tag champion through the announce table.
Following the bout, WWE Champion C.M. Punk arrived on Smackdown, taking out both men - perhaps sending a message to Stone Cold.

Randy Orton def. Undertaker and Big Show, Triple Threat Non-Title: This match was a crazy, all-out brawl, to no one's surprise. The three men set to face off for the World Title at Over the Limit beat each other all over the arena with anything they could find. There was near-falls, crimson masks, comebacks- you name it, it happened. One wonders how much more exciting this match could be if the title really was on the line. The climax came when a bloodied Undertaker could not stop Orton from pinning Show for the three-count after striking with an RKO.

The Legend Killer made a statement here tonight - he's ready for another war against these two that's to come at Over the Limit.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?

Saturday Night Heat makes its debut! What's going to happen?

Dean Ambrose def. The Miz: The Miz (as well as Sheamus) agreed to help Ryback in his war against the Shield. Tonight, Miz's target was Dean Ambrose. It was a solid street fight that saw Ambrose pick up the 1, 2, 3, on behalf of the Shield.

Ric Flair w/HHH def. Chris Benoit, WWE Title #1C Tourney: We saw earlier in a backstage segment in which the Game confronted Flair that he'd be accompanying Naitch to the ring in his match with the Rabid Wolverine. It's certainly a curious situation, considering HHH is teaming up with Batista later on.
Of course, with Triple H's assistance, Ric Flair eliminated Benoit and moves on. It would appear they're now in an alliance..

HHH and Batista def. Chris Jericho and Austin Aries: Austin Aries was robbed of a title shot by Batista, who would seem to once again be Triple H's henchman after interfering in Aries and HHH's match. Jericho has offered to team up with him against the former Evolution members who ended their chances of going after gold. Jericho's blood is boiling, and he's had enough of Triple H's shenanigans - this time, he had somebody behind him who had his back, and a mutual grudge against their opponents.

An entertaining match saw lots of weapon use and was highlighted by a simultaneous Pedigree on Jericho in-ring and a Batista Bomb through the commentary table on Aries. While HHH kept Y2J at bay, Batista took out "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" with his signature spinebuster. HHH, Flair, and Batista are back together and they stand tall on Heat, but Jericho still is after The Game.

Big E Langston def. John Cena, Last Man Standing: Ziggler and Cena have met on a few occasions, most recently in a backstage fight which saw Cena knock out The Showoff. They were to face off once more on Heat, but the stipulation was different this time. The first man to keep the other down for 10 seconds would be the victor. It was sure to be brutal as this rivalry continues.

Instead of himself facing Cena, Ziggler had another idea: have bodyguard Big E Langston take his place. Big E pummeled the surprised Cena into submission, before delivering a post-match beatdown. Ziggler's finally got the upper hand, but I'm sure The Doctor of Thuganomics will have something to say about the situation.

E&C def. Team Mucha Lucha, WWE Tag Titles #1C Tourney: The semi-finals of this tag title #1 contendership tournament pit the recently re-formed Edge and Christian against the masked marvels, the Mexican luchadors - whatever you call them, they're super talented and are sure to have the crowd in awe - Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. The winners were to take on The Colons in the finals, for the opportunity to face newly-crowned champions Haas & Benjamin (World's Greatest Tag Team) for the tag titles at a future date.

The underdogs were unable to pull off the upset over the more-experienced tag team, while the reunion of Edge and Christian has continued to prove to be a success. They could very well be wearing the tag team title gold once again.

That's all for the debut of Heat! Hope you enjoyed.
