So I'm at my King of the Ring PPV, and the game won't let me edit matches. When I got to edit it, whether I select customize freely or just change participants, the loading screen comes up and the game gets stuck there. Looks like another fun game ruined for me by inexcusable issues.

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Anyone have the basics of how to set up a Universe before I start, there used to be a post about it in the old games.
What is the proper way to get rid of the characters you don't want showing up?
Last, if someone else logs into their Xbox Live profile can they participate in your universe?Last edited by JHFerry; 01-11-2013, 04:33 PM.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
I set up the rosters how I want them used. I only control RAW and NXT and I let the CPU do whatever they want for Superstars and Smackdown (although this may change, I may control all)
Anyways for my shows
WWE Champ - CM Punk
United States Champ - Cesaro
Tag Team Champs - Team Hell No
Cruiserweight champ - Primo
On NXT i use it mainly for cruiserweights and the Tag Team belts
Punk is feuding with Ziggler for the WWE Title.
Cesaro and Christian are in a good feud.
Team Hell No and The Rhodes Scholars are having good battles with The Usos winning every match in site and creeping into the title hunt.
Primo just won a championship scrabble match over Sin Cara, Hunico, Kofi, and Heath Slater in the first main event on NXT.
Wade Barrett and Ryback are making their ways up into the WWE title chase.Comment

Still if you want a match with multiple participants or special condition it's unlikely to happen.
It's tough to swallow i am sure with all you can do in this game to be limited at all. I suggest being happy with what you have and book that triple threat tables match for a Raw main event :-)Comment

You can't edit title matches. If you want to ensure you get the desired matches edit your #1 contender prior to advancing from the go home Smackdown.

United States Championship - Hell in a Cell
Antonio Cesaro (C) vs Christian
In a hard fought and bloody match to open up the PPV. We saw the current champion Antonio Cesaro successfully retain his United States Championship. Both men utilized the Hell in a Cell, chairs, and whatever else they could find in an absolute brawl. Cesaro defeated Christian with the Neutralizer.
Tag Team Championship - Tornado Tables Match
Team Hell No (C) vs The Rhodes Scholars
In another awesome match, we saw the Rhodes Scholars (Sandow and Rhodes) become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. This match was non stop action which saw many reversals resulting in men putting themselves through multiple tables. However, the match continued as the opponents were not responsible for the wreckage. The fast paced action continued and escalated in the final minutes seeing Kane put Damien Sandow through the barricade separating the fans from the action before Cody Rhodes ultimately sent Daniel Bryan through a table to crown the new Tag Team Champs.
Intercontinental Title
Santino Marella (C) vs The Miz
Smackdown Match - Match simmed with Santino Marella retaining his Intercontinental title
Cruiserweight Title - Triple Threat
Primo (C) vs Sin Cara vs Justin Gabriel
In a fast paced and high flying match, the cruiserweight division brought the energy to the arena. This match saw Primo hit the backstabber on Sin Cara to retain his cruiserweight title in his first defense of his belt.
Divas Title
Eve (C) vs Beth Phoenix
Smackdown match - match simmed where we saw Beth Phoenix become the new Divas champion
WWE Championship
CM Punk (C) vs Dolph Ziggler
In a quicker than expected match, CM Punk hit the GTS on a bloody Dolph Ziggler to retain his WWE Title. This is sure to anger the RAW GM as he's had enough of CM Punk and his title reign.
World Heavyweight Title - I Quit Match
Randy Orton (C) vs Mark Henry
Smackdown match - Match Simmed - Randy Orton retains his World Heavyweight title over The Worlds Strongest Man Mark Henry in an I Quit MatchLast edited by franch1se; 01-12-2013, 01:31 PM.Comment

Re: WWE '13 Universe Mode Thread - How's Your's Going?
Ok I just got WWE 13' yesterday. I am having fun playing the "Attitude Era" right now and I'm going to finish it before I dive into the Universe mode.
I haven't played a wresting title since the PS2 and N64 days , so and I'm really new to this Universe thingy. Can someone fill me in on how to actually make the mode fluid and keep the storylines I guess realistic? I have no idea what I'm doing lol.Comment

One Day removed from Over the Limit where we saw multiple title changes, RAW is scheduled live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA
SHOCKING - HUGE STAR RETURNS IN MAIN EVENT
Match 1 - Ryback defeated Antonio Cesaro
In a non title match, our opening contest saw Ryback defeat Antonio Cesaro after delivering the Shell Shock. Defeating a champion, especially one who has been as hot as Cesaro will do wonders in catapulting Ryback into both the United States title hunt, as well as the WWE Title.
Match 2 - Drew McIntyre defeats Jimmy Uso
In a match between members usually involved in tag team contests, McIntyre (representing 3MB) defeated Jimmy Uso. Although the loss sets an Uso member back from an individual stand point, it should not effect the Usos in the tag team title picture. In a weird turn of events, it wasn't a band member that came to ringside in McIntyres corner, but Tensai. Tensai and Jey Uso were both ejected from ringside during the match.
Match 3 - The Rhodes Scholars defeat Team CoBro
One night after capturing the Tag Team titles, The Rhodes Scholars were back in action squaring off against Zack Ryder and the Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella (Team CoBro). The Rhodes Scholars made quick work of Zack Ryder as Cody Rhodes captured the win after hitting the Cross Roads. Santino Marella never made it into the match.
Match 4 - Wade Barrett defeated R-Truth
Our 4th contest of the night saw the continuing dominance of the Barratt Barrage as Wade Barrett dominated R-Truth in every aspect of the match
Match 5 - Main Event - Dolph Ziggler defeats CM Punk
One night after successfully retaining his title over The Showoff, the two men squared off once again in a rematch of last nights co-main event. The RAW GM, who seems to have it out for CM Punk made sure Dolph would get the win tonight. Punk, who has been a thorn to the GM's side looked as if he was going to pick up the win until he accidentally struck the referee while attempting to hit Dolph. When the referee was down, Brock Lesnar came out of nowhere and delivered not 1, but 2 F-5s to the champ!!. Dolph Ziggler picked up the win over the current champion CM Punk. Vince McMahon later came down to make a rare RAW appearance and told Punk his days are numbered and The NEW Corporation is here to restore order to the WWE and to its prestigious title. Mr McMahon stated that its not only these 2 he needs to be worrying about. Who else is in The Corporation?......

On a PPV? I don't think so. You may be able to freely customize some matches. You can't edit PPV title matches.Comment

Capitol Punishment PPV:
Vince McMahon defeats Farooq.
The Hart Foundation (Brett Hart and British Bulldog) defeat Mike Tyson and Shane McMahon
The Rock defeats Triple H
*During the match, Stone Cold interfered. The Rock was able to hit a Rock Bottom on Austin, who was distracting the referee. Rock then hit a Rock Bottom and People's Elbow on Triple H for the win.
Lita defeats Beth Phoenix to retain her Divas Championship
The Miz defeats Shaemus to retain his Intercontinental Championship
The Hardy Boyz defeat The Legion of Doom to retain their tag team championship
CM Punk defeats Stone Cold Steve Austin to retain his WWE Championship
*The Punk/Austin match was amazing. Punk put Austin through the announce table. Austin hit a Stunner but Punk was able to kick out. With the action spilling to the outside, Punk brought a chair into the mix. Austin broke Punk open. Austin went for a second stunner, it was reversed and Punk hit the Go To Sleep to win.
