Jericho wins via Liontamer to win the TV Title.

Match 5

Sid Vicious vs Scott Hall

In a match thrown together before the show, Sid wins after a chokeslam.

Match 6

WCW Tag Team Championship

Road Warriors (C) vs NWO(Curt Henning & Macho Man Randy Savage)

This was an elimination tag match, and the road warriors pulled it out.

Match 7

WCW Championship

Lex Luger vs Scott Steiner (C) w/ The Giant

This was a hard fought match. Both men were bleeding bad. Luger finally racks Steiner and he is about to tap. Giant distracts the ref. Meanwhile Steiner is tapping, but the ref doesnt see it so match continues. Later Giant would be ejected. And as Luger calls for the rack, Steiner reverses into the steiner recliner in the center of the ring and Luger taps.

So I've been playing more, noticed Kofi-Truth vs Primo-Epico 2nd week in a row. Kofi & Truth had a cutscene at the start where they were arguing.

Aside from that I got 2 useless diva matches and a ****in Kane vs Zack Ryder Raw main event. Since I restarted the universe, the world champion/the guy on the damn cover has never been booked once lol.

Seems stupid but why am I feeling like WWE 12 universe was better? Lol. There were less cutscenes in 12 I'm assuming, but when you set a feud amongst two wrestlers you'd see cutscenes building up the feud.

The only other option is book my own matches, set my own feuds and ignore all new features in this game that is dubbed "3.0"... it's **** so far lol.

dont be afraid to edit matches. in 12 i pretty much edited every match on every show. you will still get cut scenes.

My game turned John Cena and Rey Mysterio heel lol

So I gave Cena his doctor of thuganomics music.

in my universe if cena goes heel, i will just replace him with the 04 Cena. and if he turns again and goes back face then i will replace him back with the regular Cena.

I haven't messed with Universe yet, but does replace Cena with '04 Cena completely wipe out his story lines,etc.?

yeah somewhat.

but what i do is wait until the whatever feud he is in is finished, then i edit the 04 Cena so that his old Rivals is now his Ally and vice versa since he is now a heel.

that way u can somewhat continue where you left off. ill do this with the The Rock, Mick Foley and Triple H since they have multiple versions of themselves.

I'm almost at the 2nd royal rumble in my universe and so far the bulldog turned on me and that's the only storyline I've seen, what happened to all the story's the wwe "rabbi" did up and all that crap, I can't get any feuds going whatsoever, any hints would be great.

EDIT - also want to update you guys on my plans for my Universe. I'm doing the Attitude Era format, but my overall goal with the game and the Universe is to play through a couple of years with pretty much this roster, but have a few guys join here and there (Angle, Benoit, etc.) while a few others leave after a year or so, as they did in real life (Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Bulldog, HBK, etc.).

Eventually, after a couple of years, I want to re-create the Invasion angle, by bringing in guys like DDP, Booker T, RVD, etc.) thus bringing over new titles (WCW title, US title), and eventually leading to the brand split, and an Undisputed title.

Hmmm that is what I'd like to do but I tried that up till the 3rd-4th party there was only one awful story going on lol...


Have you gone deep in the universe while editing matches? Have you seen stories/cutscenes? Also curious to know if they were any feuds of value lol...THQ has to do something about the oddest crap happening, ie: Rey going heel lol...

Finished Attitude Era mode tonight.... THE best thing the WWE crew at THQ has done.

I think if Universe Mode was more "GMy" this game would be crazy good

Well I'm back and ready to start my WWE Universe once again'...I decided to use the unlock all code from my fan axxess because my kids were like Dad i want to play this guy and this guy. So what the heck I did. I have not even finished the AE mode. Still working on that one.

Anyways, did not realize how deep this U v2 is...I'm going to have some fun with this. Until CC has some better caws, I will keep TNA of the schedule, in the mean time. Will use the DLC to deepen the experience.

I'm going to leave MNR and FNSD as is. Scrapping the Wed show Superstars to replace it with Taboo Tuesday which will future current superstars for Specialty matches for the night.

Saturday Night will feature RAW IS WAR - The Attitude ERA mode, like a special legends PPV slot for the WWE Universe.

Sunday with end With a Small show KING of the Ring - Who ever wins the tournament each week will be given a title shot whatever show they are on.

That being said Post matches tomorrow....looking forward to running this again, i was pretty involved in WWE12 last year on this board....LOOSE CANNON - where are you at rock?

Well, I just started my first Universe mode a few days ago and am now in August.

What I did was put all the real life full time active guys on either Raw or Smackdown and all of the Divas and other people on the inactive roster. I also put guys like The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Taker on the free agent list because I will be adding them to the main roster at certain points in the year as part time guys.

I then made a CAW and put him on Smackdown and decided to JUST play HIS matches, like a type of career mode. His name is Lance Falcon and he is a cocky type heel who is a sound technical wrestler and submission specialist. A more serious version of Daniel Bryan, if you will.

He won his first few matches against lower card guys and then was involved in a tag match with Cody Rhodes against Ted DiBiase and The Great Khali. Well, during the match, Falcon and DiBiase got into a savage brawl on the outside of the ring and it started a feud.

Over the next 4-5 weeks, Falcon and DiBiase would square off in a series of singles matches and in tag team matches with various different partners against each other. DiBiase picked up wins in some of the tag matches, but Falcon bested him every time they wrestled one on one. It all culminated in a falls count anywhere match on SD where Falcon bested him again, but not without the aid of new ally: Jack Swagger.

This is where the booking got AWESOME! The next week on SD, it was Falcon vs. DiBiase again... only this time, it was in a steel cage! How cool is that? Well, after an insane 20 minute back and forth battle, DiBiase finally got the best of Falcon one on one by escaping the cage. After that, both men moved on to other things. It was cool losing the blowoff match like that, especially since Falcon didn't get pinned and didn't submit, but the babyface still won. Very cool.

After that, Falcon moved on to a mini feud with Sin Cara. Handled him pretty well the 3-4 times they wrestled. Next, he had a match with Randy Orton that resulted in a double count out. Weird though, never got a rematch. Then, he and Swagger teamed up a few times against random teams, even though Swagger and Falcon aren't "officially" a team. Falcon then got put up against Hunico a few times (odd, considering he is also a heel) and handled him with ease.

Next, Falcon was given the opening bout on SD against the newly crowned IC champ, Justin Gabriel. After a great match, Falcon made Gabriel tap in the center of the ring. After that, he skyrocketed up to the #3 contender for the IC title and began a short program with Gabriel. They faced off in several tag matches (this time with Wade Barrett as Falcon's partner) where both sides came out on top on different occasions. This lasted all of July until the MitB PPV.

I was disappointed that Falcon did not get a chance at the MitB match, nor did he get an IC title shot. In fact, he was left off of the PPV altogether and has yet to have a match on ANY PPV so far. Anyway, Gabriel ended up retaining and Falcon is now the #2 contender so I guess the IC title is now my goal.

I have not edited a single card either. Just going to climb the ranks naturally and see where it takes me. So far, I am loving this method as a pseudo career mode. The feud with DiBiase was seriously awesome!

So I finally did all my research and I'll be buying this game today for sure after work!

I just remember playing game like Raw on Sega Genesis, and NWO on N64 and remembering how much fun those were as a kid. So I have been wanting a wrestling game for years but I just never researched to see which one I would get.

After doing some research on Universe Mode, this looks amazing. I can create a bunch of CAW's and play puppeteer with current superstars (which I have no clue about) and past superstars (which I do!).

I will be starting my Universe tonight, any tips besides the turning off that weird camera angle?..

Once I start my Universe, can I add CAWs that I've created after I started? Or are the rosters locked once I start?
