Raw 11/26/12 - "Any man with a microphone can tell you what he loves the most"

This weeks main event is...an interview. Yes an interview with Rollins,Ambrose and Reigns. Hopefully Rollins and Reigns have the good sense to keep their mouths shut and let Ambrose do all the talking or this thing might crash before it's off the ground. After attacking Kidd and Santino it's clear they're not just after Ryback. There's 3 of them and they attacked 3 people. Maybe a match would make more sense where all 3 could look good as Rollins is as good in the ring as Ambrose is on the mic and Regins' intensity is notable.

Ryback seems determined to get a 3rd shot at Punk despite having failed twice already. Perhaps there's another announce table in his near future. Maybe he'll eat Punk's belt and we can get a new one.

After a spectacular match of the year candidate on Main Event maybe they can find something to do with Miz. He has wonderful chemistry with Punk if Ryback is otherwise occupied being put through a table.

Of course Dolph is once again stuck with an unfortuante angle that lost 240,000 viewers when it came on last week. Scandal,AJ,Cena...no one cares. We've Cenanuff of this one. Dolph vs. Cena is still plenty salvageable. How about making it over Cena trying to get Dolph's case since he wasted his own, cornering Dolph into using it or risking having to put it on the line in a match against Cena.

Hey know what? Kaitlyn is pretty dang good! So if there's divas match this week hopefully it involves her.

Daniel Bryan is still the tag team champions and still seems to need a new contender with no word on how long Cody Rhodes is out for. Dr. Shelby will probably hop in there given the chance and PTP are still after millions of dollars. I hear those 3 MB guys are pretty good. They should get the shot, they're greatest thing since whatever the greatest thing was before sliced bread.

Antonio Cesaro finally has an actual feud but it's with R-Truth so the ammount of people that care is still under 10.

Meanwhile Wade Barrett has set his sights on the IC championship. A significant downgrade from previous goals of taking over the company, enslaving John Cena and being World Heavyweight champ. At least we're getting good matches out of it.

Big Show has his contender in Sheamus again. They have a chairs match at TLC which absolutely no one saw coming after Sheamus repeatedly assaulted him with a chair. We were all expecting a tables match. I'm sure they'll go for that classic Big Show punches the chair into someone's face spot at some point. Remember he has an iron clad contract and can't be held responsible for his actions.

You'd think with a huge roster that has the most talent ever that's been in the WWE at one time and 6 shows a week there'd be more definitive things happening...

If Cena really is tapping AJ, he won't need to turn heel. There'll be enough jealous fans (like me) to hate him...

I thought Miz was pretty awful and annoying in his first MizTV as a face. Hopefully they give him some of his edge back.

I wish Ohno was on Baloons instead of either Rollins or Reigns. Admittedly, I know nothing about Reigns at all. Rollins never did anything for me in NXT (Though I began watching right after the Gold Rush tourney and have missed at least the last 3 weeks as it's been boring me to pieces). Rollins whole "I'm just being my unique self with technicolor hair, free spirit" gimmick just reeked of Jeff Hardy who I also couldn't stand. Perhaps he'll be better with the heel turn.

Ambrose is the only one I'm truly excited for, but he's enough for me. Still waiting on Ohno to get his call up though as I feel he's ready.

I can't help but notice that the three of them are sort of dressed like the security guards behind Punk in the WWE13 commercial.

I agree about Ohno being on there instead of Reigns. But, I disagree on your sentiments about Rollins. I've followed him quite a bit since he signed with FCW, and I've watched on NXT. I understand the Hardy comparison, but Rollins brings so much more to the table. His in ring work is excellent, in my opinion. Where as Hardy mostly utilized a handful of moves, and spent a majority of his matches just showing how well he can bounce back from getting decimated throughout a match, Rollins has a tremendous arsenal of moves. Also, his mic work is far superior to Hardy's. I am with the goh - I hope these guys get some mic time tomorrow night. Rollins is no Ambrose on the mic, but I do feel as though he can hold his own, and I think his in ring work surpasses Ambrose's.
I am a bit skeptical about how Rollins can fare as a heel, as his persona and energetic character certainly appeal to the fans. However, I do feel like I read that he had a solid run as a heel in ROH (I could be wrong, though). But, the only fans who don't like these guys anyway are the ones who don't know their work. The rest of us really don't care if they are face or heel, we're going to cheer regardless.

Nice catch, soltrain! Guess they are Punk's followers in "the revolution"

Definitely agree with what you are saying about Rollins which is why I qualified it with he did nothing for me personally. I'm an entertainment/mic work guy first and foremost and if you can wrestle it's basically just icing on the cake for me. Rollins could be the next Bret, Benoit, or Malenko, but if he can't cut a promo (like a Bryan, Punk, Ziggler, or Angle) I cannot get behind him.

I guess I was speaking more to his character not appealing to me more than anything else. I know he's great in the ring but if I can't connect, I won't care about your matches.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. Like I said, I've never seen what he has to offer as a heel, so I can't speak on that. I can only hope that he is adaptable, and can set aside that over the top energy to play the role of a bad guy. He is certainly a bit of a question mark, where as we all know that Ambrose is an excellent heel.

Has anyone else been feeling really good about the last few RAW's? I mean like with the way the show is going. Ever since the "men in black" attacked Ryback during Survivor Series I have gotten this weird vibe about watching the show (weird as in GOOD). Up until the start of the build for Survivor Series I feel like things have been kind of dragging along, but this month I just feel like things are really starting to get good, and especially since Survivor Series I get real excited to watch all three shows. I honestly know nothing about Rollins or Reigns, but I caved in and watched those two videos on youtube that are 20 minutes long each on all of Ambrose' promos and wow is he good. I actually started to feel a little uncomfortable listening to some of them.
I know that it isn't going to be The Attitude Era all over again with him, but I get that same feeling of when I was REALLY into wrestling years ago when I watch his stuff and I just keep getting hyped up waiting to hear from him on RAW.

Also I just caught myself up on Main Event from a few weeks ago and that Ziggler and Miz promo was pretty damn cool. Im really starting to come around to Miz and i've always liked Ziggler - so I'm glad to see him work with Cena...I feel like I'm one of the few people that actually like the whole Cena AJ Ziggler Vickie thing going on.

Long story short - I really like where WWE programming is going and Ambrose is a breath of fresh air.

This Raw all depends on what the 3 dudes say for me. Im expecting status quo lets keep the chains moving from every part else.

And for the love of God please keep Ryback out of the promo all together.

I agree, I'm not expecting much. Though Team Hell No has been great for a laugh or two. I finally caught up on NXT and I think the thing that bothers me is the month or so tape delay. There were highlights from Raw showing the NXT 3 destroying Ryback, then we come back from that to a smiley Seth Rollins getting interviewed in the back only to have him jumped by a non-3MB Jinder. Are their any plans for them to start taping NXT closer to its air date? It really takes me out of the experience. Except Bray Wyatt. He was gold again.

It would be so cool to see the guys in the back's reactions to the three NXT guys invading Raw and use that as fodder for guys to feud on NXT. Instead it never happened because NXT is a time capsule. Ah well.

Has he gotten better? I mean I don't' mean to be an *** but I was thoroughly unimpressed by those promos. And I'm not just crapping on him because he's an independent guy. I've seen what Ambrose can do on the mic and can't wait to here from him. But this was almost as boring and flat as hearing Kofi Kingston.

Unfortunately, I'm not expecting much from this storyline even though Ambrose is in it which is saying something.

The promos themselves weren't impressive and he hasn't gotten much better. What is impressive is he got the majority of RoH fans to boo him when he's so good in the ring. But like I said in the first post,it's better he and Reigns just stand there and don't open their mouths.

As per WWE.com's preview for the show:

Tonight, for the first time, the WWE Universe will hear from WWE NXT competitors Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
So, I guess we'll hear something from them tonight.
