I think as far as a 'surprise' loss for Taker adds to Wrestlemania. the last 4 or 5 years we've all known that Taker was going to win and we are just supposed to act surprisded. Punk pulling one off would make 29 that more memorable and considering all the rematches this year's card has that would be a good thing.

I know this might be false hope but is anyone else starting to doubt the forgone conclusion of Cena beating The Rock? This will undoubtedly be the last match of the night. And if this was anywhere else in the world I would be pretty sure Cena would win. But it's in the NYC area. Probably the smarkiest crowd they play in front of. And Vince and the rest of WWE have to know that by now. Is there any chance in hell that if Cena wins the title there isn't a thundering chorus of boos that go along with it?

I dunno, I'm sure I'm probably wrong and Cena will just win clean and they'll pipe in Cena cheers to help push the kids cheers up over the top but it's an idea I didn't think many people had talked about.

I think there's 0% chance of Rock retaining. That's my main problem with the match.

The main event of WM should never be this predictable.

You have a point. If Cena wins like we think he is, he's gona get a ton of heat from the NY crowd which is gona be bad. I've heard several people point this out and there is speculation that something dramatic may happen to change this but I don't know. I highly doubt they'll do a heel turn for Cena, but then again, that would be something.

If Cena ever turns heel, this would be the time to do it. A victory over the peoples champ is the perfect way to turn.

Exactly. Beat The Rock, then attack him after the bell.

Well.. after what just happened on Smackdown, we now have a match of The Shield vs Sheamus, Orton, and whatever partner they choose at WM.

And they've chosen Ryback? So much for Ryback vs Henry.

Ryback is still vs Henry dont worry lol Bigshow will replace him. Also I predict Cena béats the Rock and Punk sadley defeats Undertaker.

If there has ever been a time where somebody needs to beat The Undertaker, it's now. CM Punk really needs a signature win for his career. I've been supportive of the streak and wouldn't have ever even thought of ending it until this year. If WWE is willing to have Undertaker lose, this is the perfect opportunity.

I think Punk's win over Cena at Money in the Bank is about as signature as wins get, personally.

About Cena getting boos after beating Rock at Metlife. If its a great match he will be cheered.

A screwy win over John Cena is one thing, a victory over The Undertaker at Wrestlemania is another. I think the win over Cena would have felt a lot more meaningful had it not come after Cena was distracted (and Punk was about to tap out) and if it were actually at Wrestlemania. Punk needs that one signature Wrestlemania victory. This could be the moment that solidifies CM Punk as being on the top 5/10 superstars ever.

I'd argue that CM Punk is still right on that bubble of being one of the best ever and just being really good. I just feel like this is the perfect moment to drive it home that CM Punk really is an elite superstar. Beating The Rock would have done that. Unfortunately, he lost to The Rock twice. Now he needs to counter that with an elite victory that will go down in history.
