Oh and Sheamus best Cesaro again tonight. What a surprise.

It's partly annoying because it is Cesaro losing all the time, but I would be the same if it was anyone else.

It's not as if they've even used him that badly since he arrived, just against bigger talents.

For instance I can guarantee you that guys like Alex Riley and Curt Hawkins would not have been stupidly underused if the brand split was still in effect.

But if they can't even come up with stuff for main guys to do, how do you expect them to come up with something compelling for guys like Alex Riley or Curt Hawkins to do?

The problem is not only a packed roster, but piss-poor writing overall.

That is a problem, I mean these days you hardly see any decent lower-card feuds.

Feuds like Venis/Shamrock, MVP/Matt Hardy and Christian/Swagger are good examples of how to build rivalries among guys who would otherwise be forgotten.

It's amazing isn't it. The writers are paid thousands to be creative, and yet they only seem capable of one or two creative things at a time.

That would've been a pretty good time...then drag out the Cena angle. Maybe do something like have Wade tell Cena that if he wins the Rumble he gets his freedom from Nexus, then have him or some other Nexus dude come out and eliminate him, which leads to Cena/Wade at Mania 27 for the title. That match would've been huge.

I would think a split is beneficial but at the end of the day stars from either brands show up on both shows so it not really giving others chance. Think if they dedicated stars to only Smackdown or Raw it would give the wasted talent a chance to shine more instead of using same people for both shows. WWE has more then enough Superstars to dedicate them as either Raw or Smackdown stars. Also doing this opens up more material to use eventually like the occasional invasion on either shows I know it been done already but I think a proper split is needed between the Rosters.

The huge Roster is part of the problem but not only the problem WWE need to just stop over using the big stars for both shows so there's slots for people who get left out.

I completely agree I really believe it pure laziness that's the problem with the writers. Look at people who are not paid can think of ideas why can't they think of even better ones when they are paid to do so.

Cesaro needs a new gimmick as his current one is just awful they have tried a few things but nothing has been any count. He needs to take a few months off and be a new person. I could see where he is at now being kinda like the bluebood stuff HHH started out as.

It looks like they are trying to model his persona on Gotch, and that's a good starting point. The problem is, they keep talking about how good he is, so let him show it with more promo time and a proper feud for us to be invested in.
