Really hoping that Trips and Vince are both behind Orton to try and push for a Corporate Champion. The guy that has that Ruthless Aggression that Daniel Bryan "lacks." Vince did say that he wanted neither Cena nor Bryan to come away as the champion, so it all makes sense.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: Summerslam 08/18/13
The obvious thing is usually the right thing as it's more about execution than the surprise, and that was the case for that finish after a wonderful match.
Two amazing main-event matches and a couple solid minor matches. The only thing that wasn't great was Kane/Wyatt, but that's a tough way to debut. It works for their long-term story, but Wyatt can't be Wyatt in that environment, and you're so limited by the heat and everything that I would think you're gassed and can't even do anything but basic stuff. That match only worked with Kane/Taker as both were established, it's not the best for an in-ring debut but it is memorable I suppose.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Comment

Meanwhile I'm guessing these are Chrisksaint's real thoughts on the events that will take place at Wrestlemania:

I think Cena losing the belt and leaving for a bit is softening the blow.Comment

So where is the "OS Overreaction" at that was being predicted by people if Orton left SS with the title?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Summerslam 08/18/13
Phenomenal PPV. The undercard kind of sucked but Punk/Lesnar and Cena/Bryan were both phenomenal and well worth the $45. The Ring of Fire match was a little stupid and gimmicky but it wasn't horrible. Rhodes/Sandow felt like a match that should have been on Raw or Smackdown. It was a little short for a PPV. Del Rio/Christian was pretty good but I really didn't think Christian would win so that the match.
I'm really split on Triple H turning on Bryan and Orton cashing in and winning the title. My head tells me this the right thing to do. It turns Orton heel (something that needed to happen) and it gives Bryan a storyline to run with. But my heart keeps wanting to see Bryan as champion. I wish it wouldn't have happened but I'm also a little glad that it happened.
I have to give WWE huge props. Previous to last year's Wrestlemania, I hadn't ordered a WWE PPV since Wrestlemania 21. Now I've ordered Wrestlemania two years in a row. And this year I've ordered Wrestlemania, Payback, Money in the Bank, and Summerslam. That's 4 PPVs in a single year. The last time I've ordered this many PPVs in a single year was 2001. I think WWE is finally turning the corner. All 4 shows were great and I'm not ruling out ordering Night of Champions depending on the card.NCAA: Virginia Cavaliers

This gets a like because of the Song, I imagine many Saints TDs in my head now. I liked the Cena-Orton rivalries so if this leads to that then sweet.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment
