    Re: Summerslam 08/18/13

The first paragraph is whatever. He's made either way and this is probably a more interesting story going forward.

I agree with the second paragraph completely though. He should have kicked out of that. Even if all it meant was Orton RKOing him, he should have kicked out just to give the crowd one last little bit of hope (only to then kill it again seconds later).

There should've been an RKO in there to really seal it

The Pedigree is 9 moles of damage.

The RKO is 6.5 moles of damage.

And just for comparison, the AA is 7.67 moles of damage.

A surprise finisher causes more damage. And moles? Is this chemistry now?

              Moles are mammals.

I still think of Austin Powers when I hear or see the word mole.

I knew that a twist was coming ini the end. When Bryan pinned Cena, there was still 15 minutes left of the PPV. There was no way in hell they were going to show Bryan celebrating for 15 minutes.

I understand a lot of people are crying about the outcome... But i thinkvit was perfect. This will be another David vs Goliath storyline.

Meh they frequently end PPVs 5-10 minutes early, it would have been certainly plausible for Bryan to have celebrated for a few minutes.

I do agree with the thought of "Triple h - a retired wrestler laid Bryan out with his finisher after John Cena couldn't."

Didn't think about it that way until it was brought to my attention, but it makes sense.

Daniel could have kicked out, which the crowd would have went nuts for! Then, RKO. 1-2-3.

Him staying down from the Pedigree isn't too much of a shocker. Long match, wasn't expecting it, and bam. Even the best boxers have taken a knockout because they just weren't expecting what was coming and that's real... ok, maybe not.

Well the pedigree is established as a much more devastating move than the AA. People kick out of the AA all the friggin time. Plus, a finisher is always more powerful when it's not in a match. It's been that way in pro wrestling forever.

I agree about the kicking out to an extent, but that makes Orton seem slightly less opportunistic. This way, he didn't beat Bryan at all. Triple H and Cena did. Should get him slightly more heat. And there is no reason for Bryan to kick out there. That'd just be to give fans hope - they had already had hope taken away when Orton turned back. And Bryan didn't need to look strong there. After that match with Cena, he looked plenty strong already.
