Playing on quick match setting makes all your matches, squash matches. Been that way since last year when the "quick, normal, and epic" setting was first added in 13.

Re: WWE 2K14 Slider Thread.
I did normal for Ambrose and Rhodes and I found it too easy with the slider edits. Im challenged on the default sliders. Im having great back and forth matches though the only issue is the AI not using finisher moves.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Slider Thread.
I'm using the sliders posted on Hard, with the only changes being weapon and finisher damage maxed out. I have the reversal visual cue turned off and I'm getting really challenging matches, right now my overall record is 43-21. I don't know if I lost 21 matches for the whole time I played WWE 13.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Slider Thread.
Thank you. These are great sliders. They allow you to explore your moveset without excessive reversals. You won't dominate tho cuz if the cpu gets control of the match good luck getting a reversal to change the momentum. The only thing I changed was the momentum from attacks and taunts. Before these sliders I actually went through each match and changed momentum speed to slow. However w these sliders it takes too long to get a signature. I put them on 10 and 4 respectively. Been working pretty good so far. May have to go back eventually and change every match back to normal because it takes a decent amount to get a signature even w the new settings and by the time the cpu gets a signature the other character is worn down already normally allowing them to get the pin w the signature making the finishers pointless. Still working on it but this is a great setWatch me at twitch.tv/dmanchiComment

I've been playing this game for a few days on hard with default sliders except for the above mentioned and some of the AI reversals set down to 5 and I am still getting my *** handed to me. I'm winning maybe 30% of my matches and I was pretty damn good with past games. I always have all indicators off to increase the challenge but I can't find any AI exploits which is great.
Alot of my defeats have been because I get flustered with the pin meter but it's not a bad thing. If my guy has resliancy I kinda panic pressing the L1 button to increase the window and then trying to be accurate with kicking out in those split seconds. But I like the pin meter because when the window is really narrow and I manage to kick out, it's a cool feeling.
And I don't know if it's psychological but the only guy I can really kick *** with is Goldberg.Comment

Re: WWE 2K14 Slider Thread.
I put everything back to normal to try these sliders out. So far so good. I'll still have to test some more things especially consistency. To those wondering if they work cpu vs cpu, they definitely do. I mostly let my universe mode play out cpu vs cpu unless I'm trying to push a certain wrestler or unless I just want to play as someone in particular. I've seen excellent matches w these in both instances. Now that I have the settings back to normal the cpu normally kicks out of signatures and fall to finishers which is always good. The best part of these sliders is that when you have momentum it allows you to explore your wrestlers moveset without always being reversed which is the problem w default settings. This is not to say that the cpu won't turn the tide. It's just at a lesser rate. When the cpu does have the momentum tho its just as difficult for you to reverse which makes for a back and forth yet slow paced match style. I hope I never get used to the reversal timing which seems to be different based on each character. By the way I am using these sliders on legend difficultyLast edited by dman08; 11-02-2013, 02:42 PM.Watch me at twitch.tv/dmanchiComment

Re: WWE 2K14 Slider Thread.
I lost to Orton with Macho Man....great match buuuut....
Orton did his signature where he DDT while ur feet hang on the ropes. Well instead of using his wakeup taunt to give me a RKO he pins me for the 1, 2, 3
Very disappointed at that. Hope it can be patched??

Re: WWE 2K14 Slider Thread.
Tried the sliders on the first page again but changed the difficulty on hard and found it just way too easy. Had a Ambrose vs Cesaro match in Universe. I was Ambrose and Cesaro started off in control but after that I just took it to him until I hit my finisher and pinned him. I still feel that the default sliders on legend still make for a much better challenge than this set of sliders.

Re: WWE 2K14 Slider Thread.
How do you "load" the settings into Universe? I know it's not translating because I turned off the reversal help but in universe matches it's still there. I know it's all saved correctly because I've checked a million times. Also tried quitting to title screen and dashboard, still no luck.Comment
