Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The only thing I really remember about the Brawl for it All is The Godfather winning one of his matches by forfeit because he offered his opponent a night with his finest hoesComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I'm almost 100 percent certain that was just a regular match on Raw. I don't think the Godfather was THE Godfather when Brawl For All was going on.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I think he actually was The Godfather at the time. I know he had the cornrows.
The main things I remember from the Brawl for All are...1.) Dan Severn went full out MMA in his first round, dominated, then withdrew his name from the tournament, either because he knew he would likely dominate, or he was afraid to lose and hurt his reputation as legit fighter. and 2.) they touched on this during the countdown earlier, and on the Attitude Era DVD....Bart Gunn dominated. He beat the hell out of everyone he faced.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Yeah, if I'm remembering right, it took place in late '98? The Rock took over the Nation after Wrestlemania in '98 so Godfather was going by that name but he hadn't really established what the character would eventually become around '99 - '00.
I definitely remember the match that he came out and offered up the ladies instead of the match. He did that a few times actually, I think only one person actually took him up on it though. Think it might have been Tajiri? lolComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I just looked at the brackets so he didn't do it for the Brawl for All, but I'm pretty confident that he at least offered his hoes to someone that took them on an episode of Raw that had the tournament going on. I feel like there is a pretty good chance it was vs TajiriComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
On the note of Godfather though and how awesome he was...I hate that I wasn't watching Smackdown when this happened, this is priceless.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The gist of it all is that Holly is saying that the WWE changed it to a shoot in order to punish Bart for screwing up their plans. That it for what it's worth, but I have heard a couple of other guys say the same thing.Comment
