    It's already been duplicated though.

I think it can be done again, but it will be a LONG time before we see it. They could have done it with Cena/Rock, but they botched that big time. Had they booked one of them as a heel, could have really had a moment there.

A little late, but I have to say that the 1-hour special they did on Ultimate Warrior was excellent. Very well put together, and really told the story behind the curtain. Vince sure got pretty emotional there toward the end with that book Warrior gave him... Very good show.

I agree. The cynics will call it a work to capitalize on his death I'm sure.

Of course... Can't please everyone. It all seemed very genuine to me, however.

I agree completely. You could really tell the hatchet was buried. It's all so odd that he made peace, got to say goodbye, then was gone.

It is a wrestling death that will always be one of the most shocking.

Last night I watched the special. It was excellent. Weird to see Vince and Hunter both cry.

                  Legends' House got me.

Hopefully (though, who am I kidding) they didn't script too much drama into it. I was enjoying the more 'natural' moments of them interacting with themselves and others.

I could do w/o Piper, he just bugs me always has. Hacksaw and T.A. gonna add to the drama hopefully.

Yeah, that was without question the best thing I've watched on the Network, and one of the best things I've watched all year. Very open and honest. Seeing that emotion from Vince and Hunter, you could tell bringing Warrior back into the WWE fold meant a lot to them.

As several said in the piece, Warrior saw Vince as a fatherly figure. They were very close, but then the egos and issues with the business got in the way of the relationship and each time they reconciled to do more business, it wound up causing more tension between the two parties.

I'm glad both sides were able to set aside the differences and come together. So sad now when you look back on that weekend and see how truly happy Warrior was to be back in WWE, and how happy Vince was to have Warrior back in WWE. The only solace you take in Warrior's untimely passing is that he left us after having an incredible weekend, filled with memories that his family and fans will cherish for a long time.

That's why the emotion with Vince and Hunter was so raw; they were expecting to be working with Warrior for years to come, had just enjoyed a great weekend together and then bam ... gone. A lot of wrestlers have passed away before we thought their time was up, and that's a discussion for another day, but the passing of the Warrior is probably one that cuts really deep with Vince, due to the past history and the reconciliation.

During the Warrior documentary, there's a scene where Warrior meets with some of WWE's merchandise people about some of the things they had planned for him. On the wall, there are recent WWE pay-per-view posters hanging. The 2014 Royal Rumble poster had a post-it note stuck over CM Punk's face.

Agreed that the Warrior 1 hour special they put up was probably the best documentary/retrospective WWE has ever done. I was blown away by it. Nobody in it seemed to be hiding from anything and even Hogan came off as speaking from the heart. Who knows with Hogan, though.

However, in the last few weeks my teenage years has been decimated. First the sno-cone story. Then Vince asking if Heyman wants a "huggie". Then Vince and "The Little Engine That Could" scene. Teenage mark me weeps at this info.

I just now finished watching the 1 hour special. Very well done. I had to fight back tears at the end of it. I still can't believe the timing of it all. So surreal.

I haven't watched any of the Warrior specials, but I'll probably give those a watch sometime this weekend.

Right now, I'm watching Great American Bash 1996. Debut of Mysterio vs Malenko. Benoit and Sullivan put on a good match. Pretty decent pay per view.

I've never watched any ECW shows (aside from the One Night Stand stuff in 2005 and 2006). What are some pay per views from ECW that I could benefit from checking out? I've read that Barely Legal 1998 and 1999 were both really good shows.
