There's no way to say this without sounding like a shill, but oh well.

The fact that more people aren't signing up for this is mind-blowing to me. Even if you have problems with the current product (and really, no one likes everything), between whatever of the current stuff you do like, NXT every week, live PPVs, and the archive, it's easy to find $10 worth of enjoyment every month.

I'll never be in a position to see the data, but I'd be interested in why people aren't signing up. Is it the price? Confusion about the over-the-top delivery? Waiting for more specific archive footage to be uploaded?

People are stingy about their money. The average WWE fan doesn't live a glorious lifestyle and doesn't have tons of money just lying around to spend. Then you consider most people are already paying for cable and then on top of that probably Netflix or Hulu, it can be hard to justify that extra $10. I'm a few years shy of 30 years old and make just under $70K annually but I have so much student debt, credit card debt, mortgage, car payment, etc. that even though I can afford it, I'm still on the fence for renewal. Hell just a year ago I was only making $32K annually, I am very blessed to have the job I have now, but a year ago I don't think I would have been able to justify fitting the WWE Network into my budget.

I collected over 300 wrestling tapes in my youth and through purchasing every PPV between 96-2002 and tape trading on the internet, I already had pretty much every WWF, WCW, and ECW PPV. What I don't have and what I DO WANT is RAW and Nitro from the Monday Night Wars era. The RAWs they have up right now from 93-95 are downright terrible IMO and I can't sit through one of them. Once they are made available, I would much rather spend Monday nights watching RAW and Nitro from that time vs. stomaching the garbage they are putting out now. I think there is a decent size market of people like me that want the MNW/Attitude era shows to justify the purchase, but like I stated earlier when you look at the Top 10 shows viewed each week you will rarely find anything that's not from 2014 in said top 10.

Yeah, I guess I dropped cable a while ago, so I'm fine paying for it.

I've probably seen 1000's of wrestling matches in my life, but I'm watching Clash of the Champions 7, and the match with The Ding Dongs is by far the worst match I've ever seen in my life. Seeing Heyman at ringside in Miami Vice attire for the next match made it worth watching though

Maybe one of the worst among the WCW or WWE, but man, for absolute worst match you've ever seen? Nah, I can think of some much worse matches from well known competitors.

But yeah, some of the old WCW stuff is really, really bad.

One of my favorite Heenan moments... "oh I knew he was gonna do that! He doesn't need Janetty!"
Which was followed by "Janetty tried to jump through the window to escape... what an act of cowardism." Im 19 so I grew up on JR and King, and have a natural affinity for their work, but Heenan was a comedic genius.

One of the reasons I haven't, and its almost subconscious now, is that I can still pretty much find any wrestling vid I want to see on either YouTube or Daily motion. Sure it's not the highest of quality always, but it's still there. For me at least if WWE cracked down and took that away it would sorta force my hand a bit.

That answer makes sense to me. There's so much stuff that was uploaded for years before WWE even came out with the Network. I'd have to guess they see this and crack down eventually; but since it's as widespread as it is they might just be wasting their time.

I worry that a large portion of the international audience that wants the Network already has it through proxies.

I could swear I read there's 30,000 subscribers already in Germany.

And of course, if that's true, then they have even fewer domestic subscribers than they thought.

This is pretty much it right here. I only watch Raw and even then during the fall I skip some, haven't watched a Smackdown since the one right before Eddie passed away.

I probably then watch like 1 PPV a week when I'm bored at night doing something else on my laptop
