Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I wonder how many subscriptions were gained from the beginning of RAW until now. Is there a way to find out?Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The more I think about it I really believe that when plugging the WWE Network if they were able to say "you can re-live the Monday Night Wars and see every episode of WWE RAW and WCW Monday Nitro and get exclusive insight from the original documentary series The Monday Night War" that they would gain a lot of people's attention. I wasn't paying much attention to RAW last night but if I heard that it would immediately grab my attention.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
So watching the '94 Rumble and this is by far the absolute worst booked tag match I've ever seen in my life. I get the suspension of disbelief you're supposed to have in wrestling and with tag matches with the ref's incompetence, but this is the worse I've ever seen. So Bret is down on the outside with a obvious "knee injury" the ref never gets out of the ring to check on the guy because he's too busy trying to make Owen go stand in his corner even though Owen is telling him Bret is hurt. Meanwhile, while he's being an idiot about Owen, The Quebecers are both beating the **** out of Bret's injured leg and he sees them doing this stuff, but he's in the middle of the ring trying to force Owen back into his corner. He never makes any effort to get either of the Quebecers to back off to their corners and was even trying to count out Bret at one point. Then once Bret is finally back in the ring and Quebecers are still beating the hell out of him, he's still more worried about Owen staying in his corner than Bret's obvious knee injury. That is of course until Bret tries to put on the sharpshooter and can't, so he finally calls the match. The hell were they thinking when they plotted out this match man? lolComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Sounds like network in Canada will be $11.99. Only really $1 more a month if you factor in conversion rate between US $ and Canadian $($9.99US=$10.96 Canadian)
I'm still real confused on the August 12th stuff, don't know if a free preview begins on August 12th for everyone, or if it's like a 1 week free thing for subscribers only(so subscribers get 1 month + 1 free week).
Really hope it's 1 free week for everyone, I want to watch Summerslam for free on TV.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
They've said channel 512 on Rogers(which as of now, isn't assigned to any channel,so it obviously makes sense). Don't know about on demand, they'll prob release more info afterwards. But thinking about this, makes me think the regular channel(meaning the non on demand part) will be free preview for a week, and after that, the on demand stuff will launch for the subscribers.
And you can get the network online, just not on WWE.com. You have to use the Sportsnet app to watch the network on your phone/tablet. Just like how you can watch other TV channels LIVE(or some on demand episodes) through sportsnet/rogers apps.
