    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

I doubt people were watching but WWE did some conference thing on Tuesday and they confirmed that episodes of Monday Nitro will be uploaded in 45 days to coincide with the debut of The Monday Night War.

I can't wait. I think I'm going to try to watch Raw and Nitro and the coinciding episode of the Monday Night War. It'll be a lot to watch but it'll be fun.

I've tried to watch a few WCW PPV's and they are just unwatchable. Hopefully the Nitro episodes are watchable.

Apparently on Twitter if you tweet Schiavone things he said on Nitro he will block you.

Really? Damn, he must've personally hated his job for a long time.

I loved how every time a fake sting would come out, no matter how horrible he looked, Schiavone would be convinced it was the real Sting. Booker T could have come out dressed like Sting and Schiavone would have sold it like it was the real Sting

Yeah some guy on Deadspin said he got blocked because of it. By the end of the WCW boom he stopped giving a damn. If you go back and watch 1999-2001 WCW its clear he stopped caring.

                    Yep!

"oh yeah, that's Sting. With the height of those Stinger splashes!"

2 minutes later real Sting comes out and puts the imposter's splashes to shame.

But the thing was, it wasn't all about the violence. The match had good story build. JBL played a great heel. Guerrero was so over with the crowd. And that chair shot was pure brutality.

So everyone confirmed that that was an actual blade job by Eddie and not the chair shot that split him open so bad? What about JBL towards the end when he got hit?

When JBL got hit the two times it seriously made me sick. You don't realize how brutal that stuff was since it's been taken away.

I would have never thought I would say there's no need for that

Another reason why taking away blood and stuff was good idea, not just for superstars health, but because of how often it was done and how crazy it got some times. And when watching it at the time, things like that wouldn't seem as crazy cause seeing people bleed in WWE was a weekly occurrence. Just a little bit of blood today and it makes things so much more crazy/violent cause people aren't used to it.

I've been doing this with some of the later Monday Night War timeline, excited to be able to do so on the network. Honestly I'm having more fun with that than watching current programming, but it's mostly nostalgia. Watching PPVs is fun, but seeing the buildup, while sometimes tedious, can be even more fun.
