WWE Network Discussion Thread
Is the MNW episode a rerun of the preview? Or is it a new episode all together?
Edit-Nevermind

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I watched The Rocks documentary and it was kind of boring tbh. I felt like everyone was just saying the same thing of "He had It", etc. I've only watched this, HHH, and Orton but it was easily the worst of the 3Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
- Watched the 1st episode of The Monday Night War. It's not too bad though I always giggle at the skewed history that Vince spoon feeds us. The WWWF wasn't as small as Vince would like you to believe. They had all of the northeast, Toronto, the Ohio Valley and shared Baltimore with Mid-Atlantic IIRC. Anywho, other than making WWWF/WWF seeming like it wasn't all that great the show was pretty accurate with things as I knew them. It was nice to see Lex Luger on the show though the shirt he wore along with the jacket made him look a little like a priest LOL! At least he's cleaned up and looks good for all intents and purposes.
- I also watched Bash at the Beach 1994. That card was schizophrenic as all hell. Half of it was pretty bad and the other half was good to damn well excellent. I didn't expect the Lord Steven Regal/Johnny B. Badd match to be as good as it was but sheesh, I don't know who decided to have Marc Mero pumping out so much glitter all over the place. The damn stuff was still on the floor for most of the card.
Vader/Guardian Angel (Big Boss Man to those who may not know) was crap. Angel just couldn't keep up with Vader and they just didn't click together very well in the ring.
Terry Funk/Bunkhouse Buck vs Dustin Rhodes/Arn Anderson was atrocious. Buck just botched or made spots look terrible and Funk oversold to distraction. The result of this match was pretty much telegraphed as Arn Anderson turned on Rhodes and helped the other team win. It was a bit of a cluster in the ring. The promo afterwards in the back with Mean Gene trying to get comments from Arn was annoying as everyone else were just pouring champaigne all over the place and Anderson even had to tell one of the guys to shut up so he could cut his promo!
Stunning Steve Austin/Ricky The Dragon Steamboat was the best match of the night and got the time it needed too! This match took 20 minutes with both guys getting in good offense. I love watching Austin before his neck and knees became shot as he had a great variety in his moveset and he and Steamboat pulled out all the stops. The last few minutes were frenetic and back and forth with the ending being very logical and well done.
Pretty Wonderful (Orndorff/Roma) vs Cactus Jack/Kevin Sullivan: Gawd....This was horrible. It got so bad that the fans basically got bored and started doing the wave and making a lot of noise for no reason. Bobby Heenan tried to make a joke about how the fans in Orlando were 10 years behind the times but it was clear the fans just weren't buying the action in the ring at all. It didn't help that Roma and Orndorff more or less did the stalling thing for a good portion of the match.
The main event of Hogan/Flair wasn't the greatest match in the world but I liked that Hogan actually tried to show some skill doing some moves that he probably only did in Japan. The match obviously had some other things going on as Sherri basically inserted herself into the match to help Flair and it got pretty hectic with Mr. T basically carrying her away at the end with Hogan getting the win. The promo afterwards was interesting to say the least. Hogan was in full crazy mode but it was fun to see.
Other than the in-ring action this event had some weird things going on. Heenan and Jesse Ventura split time in the booth. Heenan was pretty good but Ventura was pretty much one foot out the door mentally. There was a long spot between the matches where the camera was on Schiavone and Ventura and Jesse looked bored as hell and wanting to get the hell out of dodge.
Nonetheless, not too bad a card with half the matches being pretty good to great made it worthwhile. The Austin/Steamboat match was the crown jewel while the Hogan/Flair match had the atmosphere and Hogan put on his working boots so it wasn't as bad as some of the other Flair/Hogan bouts would become.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I've been reading that they are going to dump a big batch of RAW and Nitro together next week in order to entice people to stay subscribed since the first round of 6 month subscriptions ends next week. It only makes sense since they've stopped uploading RAW and Smackdown altogether as of this past week.Comment

EDIT - and they're actually talking about and showing clips from CZW?!
I'm sure they'll throw a few on the live feed and you can catch them there.
