Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
1992 is the G.O.A.T. for me. That's the one with the WWE Championship on the line.
2007 is great, especially the last 15-20 minutes.
1990 is underrated.
I also like 2008 and 2010.
1995 is the worst, imo. The 30-second intervals killed the match for me.Currently Playing:

92 like others said. Not just cause it had most at stake, but the big name superstars who appeared in it, along with the action itself were great. Not to mention the post rumble promo was one of the iconic promos in wrestling history.
For me at least, if I rewatch past rumbles, it's mostly just for nostalgic reasons and all. Meaning I'll watch a past rumble cause of the names in it. Like watching 2001 rumble for example, will watch cause of how many of those old big names are in it from attitude era days.
Though it's just as fun watching reactions from a rumble, meaning fans reactions during surprise entrances and stuff.Comment

In terms of the match itself, has their ever been a "bad" Royal Rumble match?

I'm glad this is one gimmick match that has lived on over the years, although the winners are a little too easy to predict now.Currently Playing:

Also watched the Monday Night War episode that focuses on Jericho and really enjoyed it. Although the part where Goldberg explains why he didn't want the match made me scratch my head a little, just seemed dumb to me.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The MNW stuff really seems to just be repeating itself over and over and over again. All they talk about with WCW is horrible booking of superstars, NWO dominating, WCW stealing WWF talent, that regional ECW promotion, how Vince McMahon bought his competition, some Bischoff interview from 2003, and whoever is the featured superstar in the MNW video, is one of the main reasons for success(they've said it about Foley,Eddie,Jericho among many others).Comment

Is it the Bischoff interview where the old Raw stage is in the background? I'm so damn sick of seeing that interview.
Changing gears, I absolutely loved the doc on the Network about World Class Championship Wrestling. Such a fascinating and ultimately heartbreaking promotion.
I wanna watch the one about the AWA soon. I find that late territories era of wrestling so fascinating. I can't actually watch the product from then because it's so different, but I find the era really interesting.Last edited by Bellsprout; 01-13-2015, 12:30 PM.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
