Fair enough. It was surreal to read that The Undertaker would be a guest on a podcast show so I had my doubts given he's rarely ever been out of character

Agreed. The idea of it is just exciting. Same with Austin/Sting, but not quite to the same extent.

It's common knowledge now that Taker wasn't on the Owen Tribute show because he went to be with Bret since they were friends. Nobody was forced to compete that night.

          When's the Undertaker interview?

I believe he also broke character a couple times while on OTR (A sports talk show here in Canada)

Here we go, from '02 the week leading up to Wrestlemania

I realize most fans today would be bored to tears by watching enhancement talent but I grew up on that stuff and it'd be fun to see it again.
AHHHHH.....Those old Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon arguments when Heenan would crack a joke about the fans or the wrestlers.

Watching SuperBrawl 2000 and Tank Abbott holds what looks like a knife to his opponents throat and starts swearing as the camera cuts away and Tony tries to cover by saying "I think they were scissors and he was going to cut his beard".

                Whoa.

                  Whoa.

A famous moment in the downfall of WCW

                  WWF had Shamrock
                  WCW countered with Tank Abbott

And we wonder why WCW belly upped lol.

As crazy as it is, despite WCW being destroyed by WWF at the time they were STILL pulling decent cable numbers.

It's crazy what some people will watch.

Yeah, I believe Nitro's ratings for 2000-01 weren't too far off from what RAW is currently doing. Nitro was still one of the top-rated shows on cable, it's just after the AOL merger, the people in charge didn't want wrestling on the Turner channels.

The climate was different back then but man, if TNA can get bounced from Spike and still find a home on TV, it's crazy that no one was able to make room for WCW.

Lots more channels these days. Today's TNA wouldn't have found a channel back in 2001.

Who else has been going back and watching the Triple Power Bomb spot from Payback? Crazy how much of a pop not just the Power Bomb got but when Seth put his arms around Reigns/Ambrose's necks and the pop got louder. The fans still have that desire to see The Shield a year after breaking up.

Thank goodness for the Network, I'd have to wait for the DVD to come out to see that again. That's why I can't figure out why fans who haven't got the Network, don't get the Network. PPVs become available immediately after its aired, you don't have to wait for the DVD to come out anymore. So even if you miss it, watch it the next day right away. Plus all that content and NXT alone is worth the $9.99 you pay for it.

I remember last year when they broke up that the rumors were they wanted to get them back together around the end of 2015 or so; have it be one of those things they can go back to periodically.
