Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Lol watching through June 1996 of nitro. Have to laugh watching that Glacier promo over and over. Guess he was supposed to be huge. F those outsiders dudes and lol at that now bald stunning Steve Austin wining the king of the ring GLACIER IS THE FUTURE!!
But seriously June/July 1996 was very important for the direction wrestling would go for the next 4/5 years.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
That's good to hear. Surprised the wouldn't have just put it on the WWE Network, guess they really want TV ratings to be good for those countries that do get it on TV,so they won't put it on network at all so those people will be forced to watch it on tv,while everyone else enjoys it on youtube.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
And from what wikipedia said, his entrances cost half a million dollars lol. All that for a guy who was barely pushed, taken off TV for awhile, and only there for a few years. WCW sure burnt through money so badly during 90s.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I watched it last night on my phone. I enjoyed it. It was pretty good. The way Zigg kept getting those guys to sit back down on the chair, their reactions and comments, Hornswaggle and Booker T, it was good. It had me laughing.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
lol, Swerved was funny. Seems like it's gonna be more than a one time show?
Though the mic stuff at the HOF was kinda bad. Mostly cause of the timing of it. Doing a thing like that, during the HOF induction night, when everyone is there with their families and stuff, honoring the HOFers, and surrounded by actual media people(and causing the entire area to smell real bad). Should've done something like that during a backstage "wwe.com" type interview,it'd have been better.
Though Youngs reaction during it was funny cause everyone was saying that they didn't smell anything, and he was going crazy thinking it's just him.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Swerved was meh in my opinion, keeping it PG, I think they're limited in what they can accomplish, however I'll give it another try next week.
It may be just me, but I found more humor in them asking Ryder what his favorite Wrestlemania moment was, kind of a sick kind of humor, but made me laugh more at that than anything else.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I'm glad some people enjoyed the show, it just doesn't seem to be my cup of tea really. As someone said, if you're going for the gross out/shock humor than keeping it PG really limits what you can do.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
How far do people want it to go? A show like Just For Laughs Gags(don't know if people in USA get it or not) is PG and they're able to have show after show and stuff. Though that's just pranks on the public, but Swerved is like that mixed in with Punk'dComment
