Yeah I have to catch up on some stuff on the network tonight after the ALCS game. I've heard that the '70s material they show of Flair/Steamboat looks rough to say the very least. It's a shame too because I would LOVE to see some of Flair's matches from that decade.

Gotta catch up on the latest NXT episode and the WCW Table for 3 as well.

Easily the worst footage I've seen on the Network to this point. You can barely make out who is in the ring.

That issue aside, the episode is awesome. The trilogy of matches the 2 had in 1989 still rank as my all-time favorite. If you want to show someone what professional wrestling is all about, have them watch the Flair-Steamboat 1989 feud.

I rarely have time to watch but the only reason I've even made it from May-October is pretty much skipping through the garbage matches on RAW and Nitro, which means I've skipped roughly 40% of a Nitro episode and probably about 85% of a RAW episode...RAW is beyond awful in 1996, it's near impossible to watch.

I really wanted to watch in order but like I said **** it with 93-95, I'm about ready to say **** it to 1996 WWF and just exclusively watch WCW until I hit 1997. Thoughts?
I started from the very beginning of AE up until right after Austin got "ran down"(when they stopped uploading Raws smh)and I've FF thru probably 60-65% of them, depending on what was going on with certain storylines.

I'm pissed now they stopped uploading the rest of 1999 and 00s Raws because it's right when the McMahon/Helmsley Era begins and when the Tag Team Division takes off with the Hardyz, Edge and Christian, The Dudleys and even the Acolytes as well.

If it wasn't for the cheap PPVs(haven't watched since Summerslam) and the throwback content on here, I would've been cancelled it because their "process" of uploading content on there is horrible.

Watching First Look: Sting Into the Light was a good complementary to that episode.

I am watching the nxt battle royal and there is nothing more annoying than a wwe commercial in the middle of the match. I don't understand it. It's not even for sponsors. It's for their content like we already dont already receive the ads constantly

Well nxt us still a developmental territory, and the goal of it is for it to be just like raw. Maybe that's why, because you don't see it most of the time

I want your guys' opinions on if I should do this or not. I have just started (last night) going through and watching The Shield start to reek havoc on the WWE. I started at Survivor Series and now I am on the Raw the night after. I plan to watch all of the Raws and PPVs. So should I do this? Why or Why not?

I'd say why not if you haven't already watched 96-99. Otherwise...sure, I guess? I missed everything from WM 20 - WM 30 so IDK if it's any good...it looks like they're going full on 2002 and 2003 uploads though, so there's that...

So I decided to do it. I am currently on the 2nd week of Raw in November and I am enjoying pretty much everything I am seeing. The matches are pretty good and I don't think I have seen any 6 man tags. The AJ/Cena/Vickie is kinda funny, The Shield is great like I have expected it to be. One thing I am not likely is seeing both championships on Raw. I would rather they have the WWE or WHC on Raw and the other on SD.

That was around the time they stopped having separate brands but hadn't consolidated the titles yet. It's a big reason I'm glad there's only one main title now.

Surprised no one has brought up Lesnar being on the Stone Cold Podcast. Nothing groundbreaking there, but I thought Austin did a great job in the beginning of getting Lesnar to open up and share some details of his life.

Lesnar was very honest, which I'm sure made Vince cringe a few times. Brock admitted to not talking to any of the current talent and that he just shows up, does his job and leaves.

I thought Austin rushed through some of his wrestling-related questions, though. I think if he slowed down and let Brock answer, we could've gotten some good insight into why he left in 2004 (Brock started to go into detail and then Austin fired another question at him).

I did love Brock's response to those that were mad at him breaking the Undertaker's WrestlemMania undefeated streak. It was that exact reasoning why I picked him to win that match last year.

I thought the interview was interesting. I didn't know that Lesnar lives in the wilds of Canada so that was new to me. He definitely opened up about his life and what makes him tick but man...I bet the folks at the network cringed at all the swearing that was going on.

I noticed the show went over the 1 hr mark so it's nice to see that Austin is able to extend his show a bit without having to ask for time.
