I love the cheesiness of the product at the time, total pure nostalgia. My reasoning for uploading these is RAW was filled with jobber matches through 1996, so why not upload the shows that basically were RAW from that era? The one I'm watching now has a most likely unseen (by most) match of HBK vs. Bret Hart on it. Ended in a double DQ after Janetty/Neidhart interfered.

Daniel Bryan collection coming tomorrow...won't even wait 2 weeks. So definitely thinking he made this decision a couple of weeks or so ago.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Not necessarily. WWE does still have the best crew in the business. We've seen them put together amazing video packages to air on Raw after finding out someone died that Monday morning. The collections are nothing but matches/segments clipped from programs that are already on the Network. It doesn't take weeks to put one together I'm sure. I would imagine Daniel informed them of his decision either Sunday night or Monday morning before he officially announced it. Either way that's either 4 or 5 days to throw something together. Not that hard.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The Summer of Punk in WWE was incredibly botched by WWE. It started well enough....then they had him lose 3 PPVs in a row. He was white hot...and then Haitch brought out the shovel. He eventually won the title in the fall at Survivor Series and had his record breaking reign (till the freaking Rock had to come in), but that storyline could've been so much more. Like...
1. Don't have Punk come back after eight days. Hell, don't have Punk come back after 80 days.
2. Have Punk do what he actually said he was going to do....defend the WWE title at Ring of Honor or New Japan. Sure, Vince would never really agree to that, but what harm comes from it? Hardcore wrestling fans already know about ROH and NJPW, and people will then be like "Wait, if the WWE champion is on ROH or NJPW, then what is going on in WWE?"...thus funneling viewers back to WWE.
3. Have the big gold belt be the main title. Yes, Christian was the world champ coming out of Money in the Bank....have him defend it in a triple threat against Cena and Orton at Summerslam, putting the title on Cena to legitimize the big gold belt as the main title.
4. Cena hangs on to the title with title defenses against Orton (Night of Champions), Mark Henry (Hell in a Cell), and Orton again (Vengeance). Cena and the Rock still have their tag match against Awesome Truth at Survivor Series, which then leads to Cena feuding with Miz going into Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. Cena defeats Miz in a grueling TLC match.
5. Suddenly, Daniel Bryan runs down to the ring and cashes in his Money in the Bank contract, defeating John Cena for the title. While Bryan is celebrating with a YES chant, he gets cracked with a chair by Alberto Del Rio, who cashes in his Money in the Bank contract and defeats Bryan for the title.
5. The next night on Raw, Bryan claims that Del Rio couldn't cash in on him because his Money in the Bank contract was for the WWE Undisputed Title, which no longer exists and thus, Bryan is the World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio claims that he is the champion because it was his destiny...or something. But then COO Triple H grows tired of the bickering and VACATES the World Heavyweight title and announces that the winner of the Royal Rumble will win the title (ala Rumble 92).
6. Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio each argue that wasn't fair as they both had briefcases and they deserve to be champion. Triple H says fine, because you guys did win Money in the Bank, they were guaranteed entry into the Royal Rumble....at #1 and #2. Good luck.
7. Both guys go the distance and in the end, Daniel Bryan wins the Rumble and the World Heavyweight Title. He is celebrating...everyone is screaming YES! when suddenly....

8. Out comes the WWE Undisputed Champion...CM Punk.
9. The main event for Wrestlemania 28 is set....CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan in a Title Unification Match (yes, pushing Once In a Lifetime down a notch on the card).Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I used to look forward to every Saturday and Sunday mornings in the late 80s to early 90s to watch WWF Superstars and WWF Wrestling Challenge. Every now and then (once every other month or so) we'd also get a Saturday Night's Main Event to watch. Those were the glory days. Even the squash matches were entertaining simply because of Gorilla Monsoon on play by play and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan on color commentary. They did such an outstanding job actually calling the matches but also discussing the current ongoings in the WWF from a face/heel perspective. Their chemistry with one another was second to none. Plus, you had all the talk show segments; Piper's Pit, The Flower Shop, The Barbershop, The Brother Love Show (highly underrated) and later on The Snake Pit, The Funeral Parlor, etc. It was an amazing time to be a kid and a wrestling fan and I'll never forget it.Comment

Nope I never watched WCW and rarely watched WWE either because my mom hated it. I was only able to watch WWE if I was at a friend's house.Comment
