If you are looking for something other than the Golden Era, I would start with 2000. I think 2000 was one of WWE's best years. Every ppv is great along with the buildups on raw and smackdown. I would start with the Raw after Armageddon 1999 and go until WM 17. That should keep you busy and entertained. :-)

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I think you gotta start in the beginning of 97 and go forward so you pick up on the Hart v Michaels mess and then roll on in to the heart of the AE.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I would say GB is exactly right. I was watching WWF early on and couldn't do the dumb *** characters anymore and accidently stumbled on WCW and was hooked. I watched WCW (nWo versus Sting) almost exclusively. I would switch to WWF to try and keep up with the Hart Foundation/SCSA/HBK stuff but it was pretty much WCW for me until 98.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I agree with being subjective but I've never heard anyone say WWF was better than WCW in 1997.
And you don't count lol; you liked 95-96 WWF

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
No, I was just never a WCW fan. WWE is the early-mid 90s was terrible. 97 is when it was good and solidified that I liked them more than I've ever liked WCW.
The whole Sting/nWo thing was never my jam. I liked the cruisers and then would flip to WWF.badComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
They had Monday nights, but their PPVs were garbage by comparison, imo. Only time I enjoyed WCW nearly as much as WWF was early 90s, 1993ish.Last edited by dubcity; 02-28-2016, 05:53 PM.Comment

Anywho, I watched Edge & Christian's show tonight on the live feed....Er, it's um...funny? Actually, I didn't find it all that great though the segment with Gobbledy Gooker was mildly amusing.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
