I started from 96 WWF and even that was a struggle but once I got thru that and into the AE, it was all good from there. I already know I can't expect the same from watching WCW around that time.
The good thing about the early Nitros is that they are only about 45 minutes long. So you can easily FF through them.

Which list would you want? Good PPVS all around or just pure history value?

Idk what device you watch on but I do it on PC mostly or Xbox One because they have the milestones feature. That way you can see who's in each match and skip if you'd like. That's the only reason I've made it this far, I don't have the patience to watch a full episode.

Come to think of it, that probably helped with Raw too in the 1 hour years.

Ill give you some suggestions and give you some reasons why to watch it.

Hog Wild 1996: Malenko vs. Benoit was a great match. Ric Flair vs. Guerrero was a great match. You have Hogan vs. The Giant for the World title and that's when the nWo belt is made.

                      Fall Brawl 1996: Sting/Flair/Arn/Luger vs. Hogan/Hall/Nash/Sting

Starrcade 1996: That whole ppv is good.

Uncensored 1997: Malenko/Guerrero and the Battle Royal Main Event. First indication that Sting wants a piece of Hogan.

Bash at the Beach 1997: Hogan/Rodman vs. Luger and Giant.

Starrcade 1997: Whole ppv was good.

Spring Stampede 1998: Raven vs. DDP and Savage vs. Sting nWo starts to split.

                      Fall Brawl 1998: Wargames match.

Halloween Havoc 1998: DDP vs. Goldberg

World War 3 1998: Battle Royal and DDP vs. Bret Hart. Kidman and Juvi have a good match too.

Starrcade 1998: Nash vs. Goldberg. Streak ends.

That's when I faded out on WCW. You can pretty much skip the rest until Bash at the Beach 1999. Savage wins his last world title.

Don't give up man, you'll miss out on Uncensored 96 with The Mega Powers vs The Alliance to End Hulkamania. I think it was something like a 2 vs 8 triple tower cage match

Being that I was ten years old, I marked out for that match. Also, Sting and Booker vs the RoadWarriors was a good match too.

WHAT?! This was the most hyped PPV of the Monday Night Wars era and there was not one good ****ing match on that card, even Malenko/Eddie sucked by smark standards. I'm gonna let my man Scott Keith (The guy who does the Smark Rants and is way better than Meltzer) speak for me on this one.

                            The Bottom Line:

Astonishly enough, this show actually got positive reviews from some people at the time. Looking back now, it was HORRIBLE. This was a show that they were building to for 18 months, and only two of the babyfaces went over in a situation where EVERYONE is supposed to go over. I had the peak match at **3/4 and the last few matches were just mind-bogglingly bad. This show, overall, was an abject lesson in how NOT to do a major PPV, from the non-sensical booking to the boring matches to fiascos of the final two matches and just about anything else you can think of connected with this show. I gave it a bad enough review the first time I saw it, but looking back on what happened to the major players after this show, I can actually give it a WORSE rating now then I did then! How could anyone possibly screw up an easy thumbs up this badly? Well, it’s WCW. Go fig.

                            Strong recommendation to avoid.

Man that PPV...let's see, I had just turned 11 like a week before this PPV and that was the first time I remember being thoroughly disappointed by such a huge event. I marked out when Sting won sure but when I realized later on that Nick Patrick botched the fast count, the psychology of the match was ***-backwards because Sting should've dominated, and...yeah it sucked the big one. It was the starting point of WCW's inevitable demise.
