Well, I havent watched that PPV in years. I just went through Wiki trying to skim through PPVS and remembering how I felt watching it at 11. I could be off, but if I screwed up just one PPV in my list, thats pretty good for watching them 19 years ago.

Well I didn't really analyze the other ones that much. I'm literally one Nitro away from hitting Starrcade 97. On my quest to watch it all, I just skipped through most of the PPVs. I really like Scott Keith's rants so I usually just defer to his opinions if I should re-watch something.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Is it me or did they add some stuff to the TLC Tag Teams collection? Because before I feel it was more about Edge and Christian and the Hardyz than all 3 teams. And by that I mean I only remember seeing matches between the Hardyz and Edge outside of the Triple Ladder match and both TLC matches. But there were never any matches between the Dudleyz and Edge/Christian or between them and the Hardyz.Comment

The Sunny's Miracle Drops ad at the end had me laughing. "Side effects may include erratic behavior, cake fancer and multiple DUIs."Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The Shane and Vince match should definitely have been in Shane's collection. I'm going through it right now and they have parts of the build up to it in there. I.E. Shane buying WCW and him challenging Vince to the street fight.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I was watching the Greater Power reveal last night before bed.
Something of note....that was segment two of the evening. Segment one was Vince out talking. It was just shy of 40 minutes w/o commercials before the first match started.
Just a funny reminder to me that even back during the glory days, there was a lot of talking.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Oh yeah, tons.
I think it's often looked at with revisionist history since most everyone loves AE.
It was just noteworthy to me that almost 3/4 of the first hour went to talking segments on a two hour show.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
And ratings were at an all-time high because not only was it more talking, it was extremely entertaining talk. The wrestling ability wasn't near that of now or the RE era, but that's just further proof that wrestling ability isn't what draws the highest amount of viewers, it's the characters and the storylines.Comment

Gonna go out on a limb and say the talking was lot more entertaining than the 20 minute authority angles that open the show now.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
And in this same respect, most of us admit it isn't even number one or really two as far as best eras go. You make more jabs at the AE than people on here praise it. I see people use examples from it, but not here glorying it and even still it's usually admitted that a lot of it is nostalgia.

I make jabs at AE?
Are you sure you aren't confusing me with someone else? I like the AE. I've spent the last year working my way through it week by week. It's been a great way to look back at things for sure.
