Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Lol not having those B shows on the Network doesn't make it a failure. I know at some point they were all A shows but Heat and Thunder aren't super important. Superstars I want just because we need some damn 80s/90s buildup. At the same time though, that **** is gonna be almost as hard to watch as 93-95 RAW so I can see why it's not high on their priority list when it's all squash matches. But the fact that they have every PPV, every RAW, every SD (2011 episodes have started), every Nitro, every SNME, every Clash of Champions, every ECW TV and pretty much every ECW PPV/event, and all the other stuff is awesome. Not to mention all of the original programming they have.
Network is awesome and far from a failure. The Network is the only reason I'm even into wrestling in 2017. I said bye to that **** in 2004 and went 10 years without it, thought I was done for good. Didn't even care when The Rock and Brock Lesnar came back when they did. Now I've been lured back in and am probably never leaving again.
As for Superstars being hard to watch, I don't care how bad the matches are, I'll sit through it if Ventura/Vince or Gorilla/Heenan are on commentary. They're even better hearing them as an adult, I never picked up on a lot of the references they made when I was a kidComment

So you just going to ignore the joking nature of my post? You going to ignore me agreeing with the OP that it was a success? Obviously the Network is a success for all the reasons you listed and the fact that it's made it 3 years so far without going under. I've been fighting this Heat, Thunder, Superstars, NXT fight in here for a while now and will continue to do so until they get it on the network.
It's a success for sure but the fact that it's been 3 years and those shows STILL don't have a single episode is unacceptable. The fact that they STILL don't have all of NXT is unacceptable. I'm happy with what I'm getting for my 9.99 a month but I'm missing a lot of storyline points as I try to watch shows because of these missing shows.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
There only like 100 episodes needed to be uploaded if you include the competition seasons. But only like 20ish if you don't. So give me another reason why they haven't uploaded it.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I agree. We need Superstars and WCW Saturday Night pronto. Late 80's early 90's buildup to PPVs is a must have. I also think they should add some more house show cards from the early 90's. I know what they have isn't all of them.NFL- Green Bay Packers
NCAA- Florida State Seminoles
NHL- Carolina HurricanesComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I remember actually getting up early before class the day the Network went live and signing up right away. Good times.
But really, they need every NXT, FCW, and Velocity episode uploaded.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams
UWW | UWGB | Duke

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I'm at July in 2000 watching the WWF shows in chronological order.
It's crazy to think that wrestling just keeps getting better from here; RA, brand split, etc
I wonder if Shane could make it as a full time wrestler. Dude was entertaining every time he was on the screen whether in the ring or on a mic.
We didn't appreciate the stooges, man. Briscoe and Patterson were hilarious especially when JR and King were on commentary.
JR is my goat as far as commentary; dude made me feel like he would be legitimately angry or ecstatic with certain events/wrestlers.
Vince has my vote for greatest WWE heel of all time. HHH is a close second.
I hate Right to Censor. Hate. Real *** hate.
Forgot how funny E&C were.
Too Cool was dumb over. When I see them I think of Enzo and Cass.
I wish we could have chair shots to the head without the risk of injury.
I never gave Foley enough credit for his mic work, especially when he's pissed/serious.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I really liked his pre WWE stuff to, loved how he would talk about guys college backgrounds or how Mike Rotundo was a punt pass kick finalist as an 8 year old.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Obviously nobody can replicate JR, but WWE should have commentary tryouts or something. Maybe just me, but I'd rather listen to an interesting sounding person even if they make mistakes or go off topic, than a boring sounding one who is straight to the point on their commentary.Comment

Yes the in ring action has to be good, but I truly believe an announcer can carry a match and make it. JR was one of those guys for me.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Commentary can definitely make a match for me. My favorite match of all time is Hogan vs Savage at WM 5 and a big part of it is because of Monsoon and Ventura's commentaryComment
