Once cable dies we won't have to worry about it.

I thought it was because of Hulu.

          That's probably more accurate, yeah.

You can't watch them live. The only live shows on the Network are NXT and 205Live.

Didn't know Hulu carried WWE programming. I have Hulu. I will check it out. It's a condensed version, correct?

From I have heard for Raw it is. And it is the full Smackdown shows.

That new PTI/First Take show WWE debuted last night was all kinds of terrible, imo. Nothing more than a vehicle for WWE to put its PR spin on every topic they choose to discuss.

I didn't mind it. I love the points they made about the 2hr Raw. And why it would be stupid for them to ditch the 3rd hour. It effectively paid for them to bring in guys like Roode, Styles, KO, Zayn, Joe, Nakamura, etc.

"Raw brought in 173 million dollars."

JBL forgot to mention Raw AND Smackdown brought in 173 million dollars in TV revenue.

I didn't like it. I consider myself a pretty neutral/somewhat positive fan and my big takeaway from the show was if you don't like something they're doing, they want you to either stop watching or STFU

I think that's what bothered me the most. Rosenberg tried bringing up some counter points, but was talked/shouted down by Heyman and JBL. It's a bully mentality and again shows that WWE is only interested in telling its own story. Again, it's not surprising and WWE should be doing some of those things with its Network, but there's also room to have opposing points of view, especially on a show that's designed to showcase and prompt discussion.

Didn't get a chance to watch it but saw the commercial for it for the first time on Raw the other night during one of the times I flipped over from the Bulls game.

Color me completely unsurprised that Vince/WWE tries to cash in on the 'First Take,' 'PTI,' 'Around the Horn,' type of program while showing as usual that they just don't get it. The whole point of those shows and their popularity is because of dissenting viewpoints. If everybody just hugged each other and agreed with each other all the time no one would give a damn about watching it. The selling point is hearing different views against the norm.

Going off of my previous post earlier in this thread, just made it to Raw 424 on July 9th, 2001: the night when ECW inVaded RAW and subsequently joined forces with WCW.

I'm sitting here listening to JR on commentary, while Shane and Paul Heyman embrace, with chills and smiling, just the same as when I watched it about 16 years ago.

I know a lot of people didn't like the InVasion, and I definitely understand why, but it did have its moments, including this one, that were pretty amazing.

Oh, I forgot how absolutely ridiculous and hilarious Kurt Angle and Stone Cold were together during this storyline.

Edit: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand got to the moment when it was announced that Steph was the owner of ECW. Chills. Gone.

So I happened to watch some of the UK Championship tournament. It's nice to see different styles being showcased but most of it didn't appeal to me. Having said that though, Trent Seven is AWESOME. There's something about him that I really like. Hopefully he's given a chance even if they don't book him to win the tourney.
