I'm at Over the edge 98. Just so weird watching a ppv with this name since it's obviously known most for what happened in 99. And watching Owen competing at this one too. JR actually mentioned Blue Blazer(not the gimmick obviously since this was 98, but just the term as well as clothing item blue blazer) during Dude Loves entrance(the ring introductions took like 15 mins and 50 cue cards) . Just sad and uneasy to think about.


98, they're bringing out legends who competed in the 40s!? Now that seems old in 2018. King ripped out Vachons leg and was gonna beat him with it. One of those moments that obviously would be ripped it it happened today.

Weird moment, JR called Kama the godfather (apparently a nickname of his?). Is that where his godfather gimmick came from(backstage nickname) or just coincidence?

This is my second time going through '98 and I can't bring myself to watch that ****. It's, literally, the only thing I FF through.

I remember that but I was watching their match at WMXXIV and Floyd nailed him with some brass knuckles and the next night, Show’s face was bruised up.

Now I remember seeing William Regal hit dudes with Brass Knuckles but never bruising anyone up though but I guess he wasn’t hitting them as hard as Floyd was.

Now starting the raws before kotr98. Obviously people know what happened there, so can't wait to watch build and ppv itself.

Foley went from good guy to bad guy back to good guy again in a months time span.

One thing I like about Dude Love is Mr. McMahon saying "Dude". Just sounds weird hearing Dude come out of his mouth. Still can't get use to Mr. McMahon not having entrance music.

Speaking of weird... Undertaker in regular clothes!? Out of character! Almost like a worked shoot. Lol, he said "pencil neck geek"

I’m guessing he means while in his Creature of the Night gimmick as opposed to that one. I’m trying to remember when he was in regular clothes in the point he’s at watching. I don’t remember seeing any sign of his American Badass gimmick and clothing showing flashes prior to ‘99 when he and Big Show teamed up while he was injured.
