Just watched the latest Ride Along with Strowman/Bliss and Titus/Apollo/Dana.
Strowman and Bliss are clearly, incredibly, undeniably in love with each other. Unless they're *really* good actors.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Sunday Night Heat is going to be the first full year of shows, so August 98-July 99.
And as usual WWE posted the info for the Mickie James and Patterson & Brisco collections.
Coming in June, collections for MITB and The Godfather.Last edited by SmashMan; 05-05-2018, 01:30 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I liked the HBK episode of Prichard's podcast on the network. I loved Vince getting pissed that nobody suggested making Michaels a babyface after making a mandate to Prichard and Patterson that they had to stop suggesting to make him a babyfaceComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Yeah it was great. The show is less casual and fun than their actual podcast thus far, but having the video clips on there makes up for that a bit.Comment

My favorite part about it was when he was waiting for his food, he tweeted about having to wait for his food and Wendys tweeted back asking him not to flip the store upside down.Comment

Good Table for 3 with AJ, Shane, and Angle.
Still the same 22 minutes as usual, but it doesn't feel as rushed as the others. Surprising to see TNA footage and GWN plugged too, but I guess WWE is more open to that since TNA stopped spending half of their shows randomly taking shots at them.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Almost finished 1998.
Raw kicks off with DXs parody of The Corporation lol. Their Nation parody was way better.
Blackman unmasked the Blue Blazer and revealed him to be...OWEN HART?! lol, even though everyone knew it was Owen, still a good build up for this whole thing.
I believe this was the debut of Mark Henrys sexual chocolate theme.
The Brood promised a bloodbath, they make it seem like it's gonna be so big, then it just ends up being at the expense of Tiger Ali Singh lol. Still a nice Brood beatdown.
McMahon challenges Mankind to a street fight, but despite that, Mankind got upperhand most of that time until The Rock came for the save. Was thinking the whole time it was a setup, turns out it partially wasn't.
Main event of Rock vs HHH for the title. Match ends with the debut of a "Motley Crue bodyguard", later known as Test. I've thought it for awhile, but I still think Test is who Big Cass reminds me the most of.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Completely forgot Taker/Show had their own tag team theme. Taker was apart of some fire themes from late 98-00.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Took me about half a year, but I'm finally finished with 1998.
Don't know why, but for some reason on Raw they have his namecard as "Road Dog". He literally says "D-O-DOUBLE G!" every single week, how do they not know how to spell his name?
Al Snow (w/ head) is one of the best characters they have at this point in time. Just flat out crazy and great gimmick. Even though rest of his group are "jobbers", it's still a nice stable with him as leader.
Dennis Knight sighting. Saying he's here because "he" told him to. He would then get kidnapped in his own car by the Acolytes.
The 1st McMahon Rumble training montage! Him working out with Shane motivating him! "I HATE AUSTIN! I HATE AUSTIN! I HATE AUSTIN! I HATE AUSTIN!"
Great getting to watch all these stable wars and seeing everything with so much meaning! DX vs Corporation, JOB Squad vs Brood!
Mark Henry/PMS (their segments the prior week was long(no pun intended). Val Venis had a better budget for his "videos" than they did). Chyna gets involved with Henry again and Henrys reaction led me to a new great GIF moment!
They aired a "best of 1998" video package and its crazy just how much happened in a single year. If you don't remember 98 so well, you could watch this and think it's a "best of attitude era" video with all the stuff in it. Stories, characters, matches, segments, 98 had so much happening!
Raw ends with McMahon firing HBK as the commish! What was reasoning behind this? Was something going on backstage with HBK or was this the plan all along?Attached FilesComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I get annoyed as **** every time Mark is on the screen during the AE. Hall of Pain could've opened a decade earlier.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
He fired Shawn as Commish and Shawn kicked his jaw off lol. Shawn was about to finally undergo his back surgery at that point so they used that to write him off tv with the Corporation "dismembering him" the following week after DX set him up by giving him the wrong car keys.
"Maybe, maybe not" - Triple H
"What goes around, comes around" - X-Pac
"Hey, Shawn!" - Big Boss Man
The night Mick won the WWF Title for the first time, with an assist from Austin.
Man, what a great episode of Raw. I would've loved JR to be on the call.Rice Owls - Houston Astros/Dynamo/Rockets/Texans - Arsenal - PSGComment
