    Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread

So my wife walked in while I was watching Something Else to Wrestle With about the Rock and now she’s interested in seeing some of the old attitude era stuff. No just rock.

Whats a good Raw/PPV episode to start with if I wanted to start working through?

Night after Mania 14 seems like a good spot.

lol, that could've gone so many different ways.

Depends what exactly you want to see. 97, especially for the Bret Hart stuff was great. RTWM in 98 is also a nice spot to start, but like mentioned, the absolute latest to start would be the Raw after WM14(imo, the best Raw in history). Though watching things that happened BEFORE that show is part of what makes that show so much better.

I'd start after WM 13 so you can see Austin grow in to what he would become. Bret's heel run was great, the Calgary Stampede ppv is a ton of fun and you'll also see the development of the Rock and Mr McMahon

For me, the only negatives to watching 97 were the "others". Meaning the forgettable names/faces from the pre-attitude era that weren't worth watching. Though if you want to look at it as a positive, you could skip those moments and get through the shows faster.

The goods about 97 are great though. You get to see early HHH,Rock before they were main eventers. Austins path to the top, guys like Mankind/Undertaker, and of course the HBK/Bret (and Hart Foundation) stuff.

'97 was one of my fave yrs b/c it was the diamond in the rough.

Cool thx for the tips guys. Thinking I’ll start before MW14. Should I start the raw after 13 or closer to Summerslam?

I'd go with the raw after WrestleMania or the raw after that so you can see Bret and the Hart Foundation re-form along with SCSA taking off.

The Raw the night after Revenge of the Taker is another good starting point. You'll get to see the Hart/Austin street fight where Austin unloads on Bret with a chair and kayfabe injures him, then hides in the ambulance and attacks him again. First time I ever saw a babyface give a beating like that

They are doing Vengeance 2003 on STW this week, and the look on Vince's face here just cracks me up.

All the Over the Edge/Tribute show over with, back to regular Raws again.

                          Spoiler

The full reveal comes the next week, but I definitely have lots of questions about all of this. I've known from the start who the greater/higher power is, and I've seen the "It's me Austin!" clip so many times. But I've never seen the story play out. I want to see how they explain anything in this story.

The Bearer reaction below is the funniest part of the show.

I would crack up whenever he would start mocking how Zack Gowan walked. ****ed up I know.[emoji23]

Look at the size of Brock back then. Looked like damn cartoon character.
