There's a bunch of FCW matches in the hidden gems section on the Network. Like Regal vs Ambrose, that triple threat already posted, a 20 man battle royale, Rollins vs Ohno, a Rollins vs Ambrose match, Corey Graves vs Roman, Xavier Woods vs Michael Tarver, Ambrose/Sandow/Cesaro vs Rollins/Fandango/EC3 in a 6 man tag, among others. You just have to know how to look for them.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I can't bring myself to watch it, man. He's been my favorite since I was like 6 years old. He was the last one who seemed to try to keep kayfabe, and I don't want to see him as just a normal guy. Sure, I have seen him do semi-shoots on the "It's My Yard" video as the American Badass version of Taker, but I just don't want to do see him out of character like THAT.
I have to hold on to some of the magic from my childhood.
The RA special first focuses on the Invasion.
I knew it wasn't filled with top tier talent, but that is a horrible lineup.
Palumbo,Ohaire,Stasiak,Jindrack and others lol.
Although imo, the invasion was much better than most give it credit for. Ignore the fact that theres no NWO,Flair,Bischoff and other and focus on the story itself and the fact we did have the ECW top talent part of the alliance, and it seems like a better storyline.
I said it before, if the 01 Invasion was simply ECW vs WWF and then WCW entered to kick off 2002, it would've been a way better story.
In hindsight, yeah I think they should have just waited to do it. By 2002, they had Flair, Hogan, Nash and Hall. They could have gave DDP and Booker T a better showing instead of how they were used during the 2001-early 2002 time (DDP stalking Undertaker's wife & Booker eventually feuding with Edge over shampoo). It just would have been more star-studded. There could have been dream matches if they waited until the big guys' contracts were up. It would have made more sense than having to add Austin to the WCW side, and meager talents like Sean O'Haire, Hugh Morrus and midcarders like that in the Alliance. No disrespect to them, but come on.
I was listening to a STW podcast about the Invasion ppv a week ago with Bruce Prichard, and of course he dodges and spins everything to deflect blame from how WWF handled it. I do believe that they could have done it similarly to how they did ECW. You had people like The Dudleyz, Taz and Raven in WWF for a while prior to really doing any kind of "invasion" storyline or whatever. Other guys like Jericho could be considered both ECW or WCW guys depending on who they aligned with.Last edited by MrDubya; 02-25-2020, 11:41 AM.PSN ID - A_Dubya13Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Speaking of Jinderak, Episode 3 of the Ruthless Aggression Series talks about how Mark Jinderak was planned for Evolution and they shot videos with him and he was intended to be in the group. Interesting. Jinderak responded to the Tweet WWE sent out about the episode with this....

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Not a fan of the RA documentaries so far with the exception of the Cena episode.
Why can't WWE just make a ****ing documentary? Some of the evolution stuff was good stuff but then they talk about how no one wanted to cheer for a face Orton when he won the title. Compete BS. I remember watching raw around that time and Orton was absolutely getting face pops at that time.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
People always have a hard time seperating the person from the character in pro wrestling, even people who think of themselves as smart to the business. Even in the modern era where guys straight up say on their social media that their wrestling personas are just TV characters.
I have zero problem watching Benoit (or Dynamite or whoever) and being in awe of how great he was in the ring.Comment
