Its 2021, people bring up everything they're offended by.

Wrestling especially. How many times do people make fun of wrestling for being fake and scripted. But the second something offensive happens, suddenly it's not a tv show anymore and its suddenly real.

This is a good reminder that outside of a few great storylines at the top of the card the attitude era is mostly trash and staggeringly overrated.

The AE from a match perspective was nothing special.

        But they had CHARACTERS/PERSONALITIES.

Didn't matter if you were on TV for 30 minutes or 2 minutes, you had a distinct character.

Although I find minus anything involving women, the rest of the AE wasn't as bad from an edginess perspective.

And on the note of things to be edited out...just wait until they get to literally any segment involving AE Kane. Either they'll censor out the word, or edit out the entire segment, because everyone from King to Rock to HHH to Steph and others have all called him that on multiple occasions, and last I checked, they weren't saying he was late or tardy in French

AE had the hottest crowds ever. Midcard guys were more over than guys in the main events nowadays. That's just facts.

But honestly I thought most of those parodies were forced and unfunny. And they kept doing them over and over. The NWO one on the Horseman was pretty good tho.

But all that has **** all to do with the lameness of censoring comedy segments like that. Thankfully there is YouTube.

WM32, I hope we can get a crowd like that for WM38 next year.

Edge is on our side when it comes to wrestling being treated differently. When asked about his celebration with Lita potentially being removed from Peacock, he said nothing really happened just like his character in Vikings doesn't actually kill people.

"I was on Vikings, and Vikings is going to be on Peacock as of today, my character beheaded people and put their heads on spikes. Didn’t really! But I also didn’t in the wrestling ring. So I think that’s a confusing thing with wrestling. For some reason it gets put into a different category than another production. I’ve never fully grasped that, but I don’t think anybody ever fully grasps where do you put it?”

              Take that Peacock!

I'm sure WWE disagrees with removing things too, but when you're getting paid so much money, they're clearly not saying no to any requests.

But it is that age old story about WWE being fake until it's not. Its something that even after being a fan for so long I'll never understand. How can people for so long make fun of WWE for being fake, despite the fact it's a TV show (not a reality show or an actual sport), yet still get offended when something "too real" happens.

April doesn't seem as great in terms of original content.

                      No WWE Icons this month?

Do they provide updates of the archived footage they’re uploading or does is just randomly appear?

                          Random so far.

I just give this page a glance every few days:

Doesn’t let you know about specific years of shows or anything, but gives you a general view of what’s up.

So in a strange turn of events, they're uploading RAW backwards and they've reached 2003...2004 descriptions of certain RAW episodes feature Chris Benoit's name.

                            Peacock is weird, man...

Glad they’ve added Raws that quickly. Go watch the 12/29/03 Raw and enjoy the title match between HHH and HBK. Damn I literally remember watching that at my house when I was home from college during Christmas break.

Today is the last day of the WWE network in the US isnt it? That sucks.

They also just had the Edge vs Foley WWE Untold and it's about what you expected. Those guys are crazy and gelled so well.

Never knew how close that match was to being a steel cage match because you cant dare have 1 similar match types on a card.
